The crew spoke Chinese to every Asian person. I even did not understand anything. So rude. If they don't know passengers’s nationality, they have to speak a common language in English. They lost my luggage. I didn't have it now. I don't know where is my luggage. They lost it. So terrible airline. I will never use it again.

Booked this by accident, when I missed my Peach Air flight from KIX to TPE that morning. And am I glad I missed it. Eva has to be one of the best airlines I’ve ever been on. It was my first official impression of the Taiwan, and it set the bar high.

Cons: I did not take the flight. The airline changed the scheduled flight. I reached out to JustFly who booked the flight and they said they would rebook a new flight for me but I have yet to receive any notice that my flight was changed.

Cons: I did not fly out that night due to the covid testing needed. We bought the ticket November 11 it did not say we needed to get tested before flying When we went to check in there was a long line because a lot of people that was flying out did not know also about getting tested before flying Eva employees said that this protocol started December 1st if that’s the case why didn’t they email travelers that bought tickets before December 1st And let them know that covid19 test needed. Also at check in we were inline for 2 hours just to let us know we couldn’t fly out they should have a Monitor saying “ ATTENTION PASSENGERS IF YOU DON’T HAVE COVID-19 TEST RESULTS IN HAND YOU CANNOT A BOARD.” So that people didn’t half to stay in line for so long.

Pros: The crew was very nice and helpful.
Cons: This is not related to the flight itself, but EVA could do a better job of communicating useful information on its website. Because of covid 19, Taiwan recently banned foreigners from entering Taiwan. I was concerned that this might affect my travel plans since I needed to change planes in Taipei. A clarification of this policy on EVA's website would have been VERY helpful, especially since their phone lines were completely overwhelmed.review from

Overview of EVA Air
Since being formed as a member of the Evergreen Group, EVA Air has established itself as a leading service provider in the aviation industry. Awarded a revered 5 Star rating by Skytrax, warm hospitality and cabin cleanliness have been highlights of the carrier. In 2014 it was ranked as the 3rd safest airline in the world by Aero International.
EVA Air is a Taiwanese company and operates out of its hub in Taipei. It is a major link between Asia and the rest of the world, scheduling flights to North America, Europe and Oceania. Many of these long haul international flights are operated via Thailand. UNI Air is a connected subsidiary and focuses on domestic flights within Taiwan.
There are codeshare agreements with a number of major international carriers such as United Airlines, Air Canada, Air China and Turkish Airlines. It also joined Star Alliance in 2013 and is a full member. EVA Air offers flights to more than 40 international countries and the partnership with Star Alliance allows customers to access at least 150 more.
Medium to long range jets are the preferred aircraft for EVA Air, with a combination of both Airbus and Boeing used. The Boeing 777 series is one of the most commonly used, capable of transporting roughly 333 passengers per flight. A number of planes feature the famous Hello Kitty character, while others are painted in traditional Star Alliance colors.
Economy and Business Class are offered on most routes, with onboard meal preparation by experienced chefs a feature of the Business service. A luxurious Rimowa amenity kit comes with a sturdy case, which makes traveling comfortable.
