The location of the Hotel was excellent, with the private beach and good range of pools. When we checked in we had to wait 30 mins for a room service menu, we also changed rooms as the patio furniture was broken, the TV did not work properly and the lights on the balcony were broken also - not a good start to our long weekend.
The food and the beautiful view at night when the hotel was illuminated. There were too many chartertourists.
location and facilities, its so relaxing and kids had a fantastic time...
nothing i asked for a sea view but instead got a palm-tree/parking lot view. staff were absolutely not friendly especially at check-in and check-out. in-room dining was average but not at 5-star hotel catering level.
the room has a nice terrance over looking the beach side, also the landscape is beatiful and quite relaxing. i think its a very good distination to have a break from the city stress.
The Beach excellent & clean
We had a nice [Deluxe, Executive] room opening directly to the beach and all looked clean. Did not feel over run by other guests, despite seemingly busy. It looks like a 5star venue, but they need to do more. After check-in we were shown the exit to the lobby and told, whilst the staff pointed generally "your room is that way, on the ground floor" and not enough care taken to present the room after previous guests.
We liked the location, the beauty of the property, the size of your pool and your fantastic employees. Hotel pool is oily and dirty! Hair pins and hairballs as well as sand could be seen in the pottom of the pool.Booked a massage on the day of check in. Informed to be pregnant and requested head, shoulders and feet. Was informed that u usually do not allow treatment for pregnant due to previous complaints, but OK. Upon arrival, it had been cancelled and given away to another guest w/o info. me.
vast and clean swimming pools, children play room, clean private beach, food I was not aware that the children are allowed to stay with eatra pay only in delux rooms and not superior rooms. This caused a frustration on checking in, as the hotel should have informed me in advance, as I clearly stated during booking that I am arriving with children. Luckily there was a Delux Room available, but I had to pay more than AED. 200 per night for the upgrade.
The location. Nothing
Pool and beach are very good.Staff is very helpful. Rooms are very poor, okay for a three star hotel but not five.Bas smell was thier in some rooms, we had to change the room.
Family room was nice and spacious but lacked a balcony. Pool & beach nice, and eating at Waves recommended for seafood - especially if you get a table on the beach! Unable to serve decaf coffee in the main restaurant.
The staff were all very helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The hotel spa was not operating but all other facilites were excellent. Our rooms were lovely and teh food at the buffet and the a-la-carte restaurants was of a very high standard. The pool bar was brilliant and the food there was also first class. We will definately be back again we enjoyed it very much indeed. There was a lot of rubbish floating about in the ocean while we were swimming. Things like plastic bags which was not very pleasant. The ocean however was lovely to swim in.
I did like the relaxed atmosphere. Spacious setting around pool area. Sparebeds in corridors and used dishes with food remains standing on stair landing for almost a day.
New, very modern, friendly staff and atmosphere, excellent facilities, nice beach. We are planning to go back in the next few weeks. Nothing that I can think of.
The staff were were excellent, rooms good with a nice sea view although balconies a little small.
The proximity to the beach and the ability to relax in and around the swimming pool. Being prevented from bringing own liquor/softdrink/water into the resort when there is no mention of this on the booking.com website. This is the first time ever of staying internationally in hotels over 30 years where this constraint has been imposed. Rooms and hotel are tired. The quality of Malaysian chicken curry at Waves Restaurant left a lot to be desired. Speed of being served at pool bar was rather slow. Lateness of cleaning our room on the second day of our stay was also inconvenient. We had booked especially to take friends visiting from UK to Al Aqah - their room with "sea/swimming pool view" looked at a construction fence and was not ready at 3pm check-in. Some compensation from hotel should have been warranted.
Facilities and pool bar Reluctance of restaurant staff to reasonably compromise on external restaurant vouchers. We had a voucher for 'buy one main item, get one free at the Waves Restaurant'. We were not allowed to use this as my wife had ordered a salad, even though it was cheaper than a main item. This sort of adherence to the absolute letter of the law annoys me. We wouldn't eat there again.
Idyllic setting with wonderful views over the sea. We will go back again! The hotel was still in 'soft' opening and staffing numbers seemed to be low at times. The drain from the walk in shower in our bathroom was too small and backed up leading to water overflowing from the shower across the rest of the bathroom. This made the floors slippy.
Excellent Customer Service, VIP treatment Excellent food Service, however, the taste of the meals can improved (good but not excellent)
Great Beach Great pool Good food Great range of facilities Super friendly staff Noisy quad bikes from neighboring public beach Dirty sea water
This hotel is all about location. You can snorkel straight off the beach - no need to book a boat trip. Room wasn't ready when we arrived at about 4.30pm and restaurant staff need to listen to guests more carefully.
Please write at least 15 words The extra bed was below standards and was something cheap and not comfortabl
The location is beautiful. We had two meals which were not good. We had to send back one of our desserts. For the quality of the resort(quite basic), I think it's too expensive.
The view is stunning!
Perfect location, ideal retreat to relax breakfast buffet is poor & bad value for money. Food/restaurant choice is really limited and overpriced.
It's location - right on the beach and within swimming distance of Snoopy Island and the snorkelling The food is very mediocre - I would eat elsewhere anither time. Rather shabby room furniture and bit tired and worn
I have no complaints, only complements to all staff. Many thanks for making my brief get away so pleasurable. I'll be back.
Amazing turtle spotting opportunities! You are so lucky to have such fantastic wildlife so cloe! Some visitors thought it would be funny to annoy the turtles by picking them out of the water and standing on them. I feel this is very serious as they are an endangered species. I think these people should be severely talked to and asked to leave if they continue.
The room had a very nice view. The breakfast was always cold even the 'hot choice'. There was no 'fresh juice' all from a box and as my husband is diabetic this was not acceptable. Also you should point out the beach is rock beach not just sand this was not acceptable at all. In the evening the restaurant serve good food but their was no ambience. We did not receive full towels or toilet rolls when the room was cleaned... A necessity I would imagine to anyone!
Good location by the beach, dive shop on hotel grounds. Too expensive for what you get. The food in the restaurant was awful at both breakfast and dinner. Internet access only in the net café which was very expensive and didn't work.
The beach, the room, position. Music by the pool all day long; the dinner buffè
The location of the hotel just opposite the Dibba rock was excellent. The views from the hotel were simply amazing. The food. Not enough variety. The breakfast was repeated on both the days.
the hotel is located directly on the beach and has a nice swimming pool, also for small childeren. breakfast is good with wide selction of food.
Quiet and the beach was great No lamps in any of the rooms and staff a bit abbrupt.
The hotel is right on the beach and very convenient for people who wants to to diving for the weekend as Freestyle Divers operate from that location, about 100m away.Beautifull view of the open see and landscaped gardens. The room was too small for a family of 4, with no facilities to make your own coffee in the morning. The beds are way too hard and uncomfortable! The breakfast was terrible and the fruitjuice were too sweet and made from concentrate, not 100% real juice. No freshly brewed coffee, but small packets of Nescafe and Longlife milk-juck! I could have stayed at Miramar Hotel for 200 AED extra with delicious breakfast and soft beds and beautifull pool facilities. Too many stray cats all over the show begging for food the moment they see you, very annoying. Way over priced.
The staff were wonderful. They were especially good when by father had to be taken to the hospital at 3:00am. The driver was also very helpful.
The view of the beach and swimmingpool There are differenc price in the weekend break for the same deluxe chalet - for 4 personns.
this was a very poor choice - as we had attempted to book a 5 star hotel it was surprising that we we offered this as an alternative when our request was not available the rooms and facilities were very poor and dirty and the night club kept us awake until 3.00 am
location, swimming pool, beach (when on high tide), size of the rooms, convinience of parking in front of the room. The rooms are dated, making specially the kitcheb/bathroom very unconfortable and not up to the price paid.
the staff were great and that made up for the lack in room maitanace the room was very old and run down but in saying that it did appear they were remodling the appartments
Friendly staff, comfortable homelike environment pillowslips on pillows, as opposed to covers that could not be removed would have been good. Kettle in the room, or advise to bring one.
I really don't enjoy flashy resorts with too much bling - this was simple and you could focus on the important stuff - you're family and the beautiful natural surroundings. Very private also because you stay in villas instead of buildings. The hotel was overpriced.
Pool, beach, snorkeling, cold beers with a smile. I went midweek and there were no other guests there. Perfect simple and cheap city getaway No sunblock to buy in the shop
HBM has a great location with the full access to the beach. The staff was helpful, kind and descreet. The buildings were renovated - more from outside than inside- but the "kitchen" in the challet was terrible. The bathtub was used for many, many years... and it shows.
Move information about where to access certain things like - kitchen goods(jugs, cups, plate) diving and snorkling gear. Was under the impression from web-site that I had booked a chalet - with sleeping arrangements for two single adults - got there and found only a double bed. Not helpful when two females are travelling together.
relaxed, low key airconditioning units sounded like a bus hitting the side of the building. Constantly. Room had no cutlery or crockery at all.
Good location fair motel Evrything is afair
