The location of the motel was perfect for my business trip. The staff was helpful and very friendly. I will be staying there again when I travel to Cody. The rear door electronic mechanism has difficulty in the cold winter conditions, as a result, the key card did not work and I had to use the main entrance to enter my room.
Large King Bed Nice View Waffles and Biscuits and Gravy for Breakfast On the outskirts of Town Front Desk was not Friendly Room had a Smell Not worth the price of the room
Reasonably priced, nice location on the outskirts of town in a well manicured setting, well appointed rooms that were comfortable. Staff was not available at the front desk twice.
roomy and large suite, comfortable bed, sumptuous free morning breakfast. none
Nice employees condition of room. Stuffy musty smell. Old linens. Loud air conditioner As above
Friendly staff and owner. My room, while dated, was thoroughly cleaned each day of my stay. The motel is off the main drag in Cody, making it less noisy than other motels. Parking for my motorcycle was only a few steps from my room. A hose and water to wash motorcycles is conveniently located. The washer and dryer worked just fine. The nightly price, while comparable to others in Cody, WY for "in season" rooms, is outrageous. I understand it's a seller's market, but for comparison, I spent 2 different nights in another city in a nationally recognized motel for less than half the rate charged at Western Rose. And it included a continental breakfast.
Very nice, helpful staff and clean facilities. Good deal for the price The location is on the fringes of downtown Cody, not exactly in downtown Cody. It about a 5-10 minute walk to get to the heart of the downtown area. The mattress was old and way to soft (could feel the springs); it definitely needed to be replaced.
Super friendly staff

it was there when I needed a hotel It really was not what I had expected from the star rating. WAY WAY overpriced.
The availability of parking. The price they charge as a 2 star motel will get you a 4 star hotel in Billings MT 70 minutes away. (& this wasn't even tourist season yet!) Tiny rooms. Tiny tv. The breakfast is yogurt, 2 types of cereal and toast. Seriously, drive 70 min to Billings.
Clean and the breakfast was nice.
The members of the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. (I interacted with about 4-5 of them during my 2 days there.) They also seemed happy in their jobs, which is always a good indicator that things are right. They were fun, cheerful, and professional. I noticed a couple of hairs high up on the walls in the bathroom, which made me wonder about the cleanliness, although the room otherwise appeared to fine.
Great price over the holiday weekend. Basic breakfast. Easy to find.
It was a convenient place to spend the night. Right on the road to Yellowstone. Good value for the money. No. It was a nice stay!
The breakfast could use some more options. Wasn't a lot to choose from.
Great setting - great stay. Not that I can think of.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. There were a few extra perks we weren't counting on.
Perfect stop for a Wyoming-Montana road trip. Room had everything needed including microwave, fridge, HDTV with good channels, and very good Wi-Fi. Price a little high, but it seems that all the lodging in Cody is at the higher end.
