Breakfast was average, nothing special, bed was comfortable
As a early riser, would have enjoyed in room coffee machine
Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Great food and drinks in Gold Lounge.
Relatively early closing of food and beverage service
Location was good, food was good in restaurant.
Food service closed basically at 11 - even room service! This seems crazy for a location like this.
Best Trip to Chicago
We loved the special lounge to relax in. It was like having our own kitchen and living room.
Everything was great.
The hotel failed to follow my president profile and didn't provide non scented products nor my workout clothes.
Friendly and luxurious!
I honestly felt like I stole from them for getting my room that cheap! It's a truly 5 star place it's close to everything you could want to do downtown! The staff is very friendly and amazing! The rooms are very nice and pretty big!
I chose Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park because of its location and good reputation. After my stay at the hotel I am glad that I made a right choice. When I was checking into the hotel there was some confusion about my reservation. I reserved two rooms but the hotel reservation system showed only one room under my name. After I presented my two hotel reservation vouchers and email communication the front desk manager quickly gave me two rooms without unnecessary delay (the room types were exactly what I requested when I made my reservation). The hotel front desk manager and staff were very courteous while they were trying to sort it out. I and my family had a great stay there. It's location and free room wi-fi connection were excellent.
Excellent hotel / Great location.
The room was very comfortable and the hotel staff was fabulous. Really enjoyed our stay.
The parking garage is located right next door and was very easy to access. No need to spend money on valet parking, unless you don't like carrying your luggage. Parking next door was 1/2 the cost. (About $35 per day). Safe area. Great location!
No free WiFi in rooms. In order to use free WiFi, you had to go to the lobby. Pricey stay for no internet access in room.
Good value, good location
Parking high $70 a day, room service cart left in hallway for almost full day. Wireless cost high $16 per day,
The staff was incredibly kind
Bathroom wasn't immaculate
Overpriced and reasonably foul
Location - very convenient. One of those hotels that tries to make money on every little extra.
Cockroaches on the 26th floor where our room was. Reported it to the front desk - they didn't sound surprised at all.
Very caring/warm/genuine staff. Outstanding view of park from room. Great breakfast in room and "rainfall" showerheads were very relaxing.
A bit away from the shopping but they have a Bentley to help with transport. Could not secure a late check-out but hotel was fully booked so this was understandable.
A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The best service I have ever experienced in a hotel. The room was large and beautiful. Excellent beds - I slept really well. Overall a great experience!
The fancy coffe pot in the room. Just simply give me a Mr. Coffe machine that is a no brainer. We also stayed in the room when we had to switch the clocks back. No way, no how could we figure out how to move the time back one hour. Stupid things, but iratating.
no flexibility, no helpful staff
Large room; very clean; excellent location
Lack of countertop space in bathroom
large suite good for family
Location far from restaurants, other popular spots. Shower drain did not work and overflowed requiring multiple staff visits. Long waits for elevators. Room adjacent to elevator. Not generally up to character of other Fairmont hotels.
Great service and attention to detail. Very guest oriented and helpful.
$50 for overnight parking.
