The crew was very friendly and helpful. The meals were way better than normal airplane food
Boarding was significantly delayed. Seat assignments going and returning were the worst on the plane. Food options, choices, were not available by the time the meal cart got back to our row. We were treated like second class citizens. Unacceptable. And this happened not only with one meal, but with two on the return trip.
Turbulence to much, the multimedia at my seat doen nt work the audio, the crew was rud.
Traveling with non-mobile disabled person, on oxygen, was made easy by this crew. Especially Suzanne and Priscilla. We were greatly assisted with boarding and disembarking, as well as during the flight, with frequent welfare checks.
Ordering the food wasn’t properly explained and therefore no one ordered food or drink. When I looked on line it wasn’t properly explained either
We had confirmed flight, but my partner was put on standby, leaving us uncomfortable and worried that we wouldn't get on the flight. It was a most unpleasant experience, until at the last minute, he got a seat. The final small meal, which was served very late and was described as pizza, was inedible. I heard numerous passengers remarking about this choice.
One I’d the flight attendants was so nice and fun and enthusiastic! He made my flight.
Arrived 15mins early as a bonus
The flight was good, but my luggage was lost
The food was very good and .the choice of movies was good. Blanket and pillow were appreciated.
A sandwich could have been offered instead of crisps and water. There were no entertainment such as music or movies in this aircraft. The crew was very nice.
My wife could get boarding pass until we got to London.
Again this is an airline problem but our flight was delayed 7.5 hours and we sat on the plane at the gate for 2.5 of those hours.
8 hour delay due to a crew shortage. After everyone had already boarded the flight.
Everything was on point and if we can have a free internet service at the economy that would be appreciated.
The business class seat was uncomfortable & there was No storage room. Worst layout I have ever seen. Whoever was responsible for designing should be fired! Previous international British air flights had a lot more storage and a much better layout. It was hard to reach electronics and basically everything else without twisting into a pretzel
Offered a cold snack (maybe a sandwich and cake) rather than a meal for the second meal offered. More tea and coffee offered throughout the flight. Loved the crew, could not have been more helpful and happy! Luggage at the other end seemed to come off last although we were world club class and it had a priority tag on it.
Seat did not recline. Headphones did not work well with sound that kept cutting out. Also, the evening flight left Baltimore 9pm local time (2am UK time) so why do they serve dinner an hour after we took off. It would have been better to let people go to sleep and serve a much better breakfast before we land at 9am UK time
British Airports Security and Transit policy is bullying, harassing and horrifying for travelers in transit. It makes traveling through Britain inconvenient, complicated and disorganized. I avoid any transits through Britain when any other options are available for this reason.
Despite my satisfaction with British Airways, I avoid any transits through London (or Britain) if possible because of complications and harassment by the security and staff at Heathrow and other airports for passengers who are not even entering Britain. British Airways should pressure the regulators to allow passengers in transit to be spared of exiting and re-entering of all checked in baggage, and stop extended security searches and customs harassment for people not entering Britain but only transiting to connecting flights. This is a system of bullying, intimidation, and theft making travel a nightmare and costing British Airways many customers. I will pay much more to take less convenient flights with other airlines just to avoid transits in Britain though I have always had good experiences with British Airways.
THEY WERE DELAYED BY 2 HOURS, THUS CAUSING ME TO MISS MY FLIGHTS! TERRIBLE DAY! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
My first time traveling overseas and enjoyed every minute of it! The only thing I wish I had more of was space for my legs. Otherwise, the crew was great, food was good and entertainment was great for a long flight! Can’t wait to book another trip soon.
Great flight London to Boston, easy boarding, attentive staff, communicative crew, outstanding meal and snacks.
My flight got cancelled
Seats (in World Traveller Plus) were very comfortable. Service from the cabin crew was excellent.
The food from Venice was better quality and taste than the flight from DC. The plane was very shaky and rattling while landing.
Service was excellent, plenty of entertainment options to help me stay awake to adjust to the time zone, but plenty of people sleeping well as well.
Even though I bought my tickets 7 months in advance I was put on standby and had to take a later flight. I was told they would make overnight reservations in a hotel because of the layover and ended up having to sleep in the airport. I understand weather and changes, but not keeping their word for the hotel was just the last straw.
It was a good experience traveling with British Airways. Just the flight got delayed while connecting to Belfast apart from that it was good from boarding to baggage receiving.
On board British Airways flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x45x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the British Airways assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
