We loved the Westin, as we always stay here wherever we travel. Beds are superb, and atmosphere is always excellent
Fire alarm went off mid day Sunday.. bit of an inconvenience as we just got back from a long walking trip. Was fine though as we were back up in a reasonable amount of time

Staff was fantastic and helpful in every way. Location was great for proximity to airport, and not too far from downtown, if you don't mind a short walk or bus ride.
I was there 3 nights. Very noisy guests the second night - a Friday night - yelling and running up and down my hall from midnight to 2 AM. Maybe a wedding party? Didn't happen the other nights, but was not something I expected at this high-end of a hotel.
Beautiful lobby and rooms very comfortable. The Westin beds are always wonderful And the shower was amazing.

Loved the room, the bed was amazing, and the sheets were too.
The view from our room looked directly at 10 HVAC units, so there wasn't much of a view. A cover over them would've made looking beyond them easier. Each room should include parking for one car, having to pay to park on top of what you're paying for the room is absurd.
Everyone was nice and helpful and efficient!
The walls are a little thin so you could hear people getting in the shower and doors closing.
Staff is outstanding.
Everyone is so professional and eager to help. When i mentioned to Michael the bellman that it was my friends birthday that brought us in to Boston, we came back to the room to a complimentary bottle of wine and perfect desserts. That to me is outstanding attention to detail when creating an experience for your guests.
the parking garage seriously needs someone to guide you through it. what a maze!

Walking distance to nothing
The hotel was easy to get to, and had parking on-site (not free, which is the norm in Boston from what I'm told). There was a nice restaurant on-site, and a Starbucks for breakfast in the morning. The room was very clean, and the bed and pillows comfortable.
You couldn't really walk anywhere from the hotel easily, and Boston is a very walkable town. There were no other options for breakfast other than Starbucks in the lobby, except room service at an outrageous price. The wi-fi was not accessible--we could have called the desk, but didn't bother. There was no information in the room with instructions. The shower was so weak it took twice as long to rinse off, unless you used the hand-held massage shower which took your skin off. Local phone calls were not free which is ridiculous. Bottled water in the room had a price tag on it. I was afraid to use the soap in the bathroom for fear it would cost extra. I do not like being "nickled and dimed." The little amenities should be free. Will look elsewhere for my next stay.
