Good location, comfortable bed and serviceable bathroom. Front desk helpful.
Industrial action meant picket lines and an unwanted early morning wake up service. We booked in February, were notified 6 days prior to stay of the industrial action too late for alternative arrangements.
Everything. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Picketers were very aggressive and annoying. The day valet was very slow. Took 3 requests and more than 45 minutes to get my vehicle. Valet said the manager was gonna speak with me and he never came over to talk to me. After an hour I left.
Excellent staff, great view, good location next to the Italian quarter with heaps of great restaurants around. About half an hour walk to the city, Macys. Sort of between the city and Harvard/Assembly Row, so good meaning your Uber trips are not too costly. The Day Spa was excellent in terms of quality delivery - just watch it as the hotel reception gives you a $25 voucher, but it doesn't state that you can only use it for treatments over $100. So I booked, but then couldn't use the voucher.
The hotel website advertised the fact there was a union protest on, so I went there knowing that. But I don't believe the hotel fairly represented how intrusive the protesters were and how their protesting impacted my ability to have a relaxing stay at the hotel. On the hotel website, it stated that "this hotel is open for business as usual" - only screaming protesters outside your window from 7am right through to 7pm EVERY day, can NOT be classified as usual business by anyone's definition! I did not have the time in my work schedule to move hotel, and to their credit the staff on the ground were all fantastic to deal with. But I was not able to have a sleep in on any day due to the highly organised protesting (you got to admire their planned roster, how they were always there yelling!) - only of course it meant there was no chance for any relaxation. Also, all the yelling kind of gets to your psyche after a while - I don't know how the staff handle it all the time?!
Clean but room a bit dusty The strike was going on Loud chants upon arrival evening and morning
Loved the room! Breakfast food was very good. Very clean. Nice property. Loved being on the water.
Nothing! We will be back.
