Pros: Staff are fantastic, so helpful and engaging. Great location just a short walk to ocean front.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was really relaxed and welcoming from the friendly person on reception at the time. She also provided a map with points of interest and a suggested route to take it all in. That welcome feeling continued throughout the 3 night stay. The room was well laid out, very clean and accommodating. I found the bed really comfortable and the bathroom sweet was pretty cool too. The buffet breakfast had a great choice of hot & cold food and drinks with sweet pastries / cakes also available. Check out was smooth and the bill clearly explained prior to payment. The guys were happy to arrange a taxi on departure also.
Cons: Nothing. I liked everything about my stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic! Instead of the typical impersonal places, this is one of the only hotels I have truly felt at home!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location and the staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location near good local restaurants and a short climb down to the beach. Lovely old villa style which we enjoyed. Friendly, helpful staff who refered Nelson a lovely local taxi driver who took us away San Sebastian to avoid the G7 lock down. We will definitely go back.
Cons: I think all the family rooms are in the basement. It was ok but would have preferred to be upstairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We LOVED our stay here. The location is absolutely perfect. It's right in the thick of everything but on a quiet street so there was no extra noise. The entire hotel is beautiful and the sunroom where we had breakfast is so nice. The front desk staff was awesome, we truly had the best time! Our room also had a small balcony and every night before dinner, we had a drink on the balcony. It was perfect.
Cons: My partner twisted his ankle right before our trip, so he had limited mobility. It would have been nice to stay in a place with an elevator, but we wouldn't have changed anything about our stay. Even with his ankle, we would have booked the same hotel again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly staff, great location right beside a lively market with lots of gorgeous restaurants. Everywhere of interest is nearby. Small quaint establishment with a lovely atmosphere but plenty of comfort.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great experience! Very nice staff, spotless clean, modern decor. Near everything
5.0 Okay
Pros: Hotel had nice common areas
Cons: No Parking! What the hotel calls public parking nearby is actually the street and we could not find a space even to unload the car .the 5 min spot had been occupied by someone who had gone away and left their car. Staff v. Unhelpful and v.surly ended up 20 mins away in parking garage . The towels folded under the sink were dirty. Sink itself not really fit for purpose.

Pros: Wonderful place with a fantastic view from the garden with pool (heated one with is another plus). A place to simply come and relax. Bathroom was fantastic!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, courteous, sympathic and discreet! A perfect experience.
7.3 Good
Pros: The whole experience was wonderful - from the look of the manor, to the staff, to the owner chauffering us in his Rolls to our dinner reservation. The staff is extremely attentive, without being intrusive. The room was luxurious, but comfortable. A very special place.
Cons: Price per person for breakfast seems high.
7.2 Good
Pros: Very nice romantic place but not for the long stay
Cons: It would be so nice if they made the territory much more!
7.6 Good
Pros: Super friendly staff. Beautiful and very stylish hotel.
7.6 Good
Pros: Gorgeous room, fab bath and shower, absolutely charming staff, stylish hotel.. Great touches like a huge bowl of gorgeous fresh fruit in reception, and breakfast was great - lovely table, prompt service and delicious.
Cons: But don't order dinner there - at least not on a Sunday night. Our dinner experience was not good. Firstly we waited ages and ages. The choice was limited but that was OK, except the food wasn't ok. It was strange bordering on bizarre and really not very nice. We ordered some cold starters (amongst which was a serving of 'green' asparagus which came limp, soggy and almost brown in colour - obviously tinned and frankly inedible) and one hot starter. All the cold starters were served together - there were 6 of us - but the one hot starter only came ages later with all the main courses. The mains were local dishes and really not very nice, weren't hot enough and certainly not up to standard. Shame as hotel otherwise is gorgeous.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My friend and I thought tis was one of the better hotels either one of us has ever been to--beautifully appointed rooms and excellent service make staying at this small boutique-hotel an excellent experience.
7.6 Good
Pros: Can't speak highly enough of the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff
Cons: No bad points
6.8 Good
Pros: staff very helpful, responsive and friendly. Service was great - efficient but never intrusive;. Rooms and common areas - lounge, pool, gardens, very beautiful, pool was especially nice as its long enough to swim properly in
Cons:
Hotel Du Palais Biarritz - Biarritz
6
9.0 Excellent (866 reviews)
AED 1668+
Overview Reviews
A living memory of Biarritz history, theVilla Eugenie, now Hotel du Palais, was built in 1855 by Napoleon III for his wife Eugenie de Montijo, now among the most famous historical resort in France.
6.3 Good
Cons: Tatty old rooms with a strange odour, broken A/C, exorbitant price which filled us full of hope that we would receive extreme luxurious treatment only to be sorely disappointed. Ordered late room service and had to reject every item due to poor quality. After being told we could entertain guests anywhere in the hotel the pool attendant handed me a bill for €EUR450 for the visitors who came and sat with us for an hour by the pool even after us spending €EUR300 on drinks!!! Which I promptly refused to pay. After very little sleep I tried to complain and received a small discount on the bill, but 1 night still came to €1,800!! There is no way this hotel is deserved to charge that kind of money for the return in property standards and service. I will be taking this up further with the hotel an Hyatt group.
7.9 Good
Pros: Super location. Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Everything relating to food and drink was very expensive. Lunch-time menu would have benefited from a few more simple options.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting
Cons: Very expensive . Breakfast is inside whereas the pictures lead you to believe it will be served outside
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast. Smoked salmon was highest class and croissants were very tasty. Superb view from our balcony
Cons: I was disappointed by very late swimming pool opening hours. I always like to have a swim before my breakfast and pool is open here just 0930! Latest time since I am traveling long years!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Best location to enjoy beach while able to lounge by the pool.
Cons: Not much, maybe slightly overpriced drinks.
6.2 Good
Pros: location and view from dining room
Cons: place is showing its age, and its cost for rooms and meals are far too high. breakfast for 1 person was 50 euro, about $60 USD. the ocean view room i reserved from kayak was $550, and the only view of the water was from a side window; you had to right up next to the window to even see the water or beach. when i complained, they said that since you can see the water from the window, it qualifies as ocean view. we got misled from the check in girl as to when our room would be ready, and got fast double talk as to what happened. there also appears to be some wiggle room between what we learned about the room from kayak and what the hotel provided. kind of a bait and switch. we won't be back.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had been spruced up after the G7 so that was good
Cons: The staff had an imperious attitude
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is perfect, the views are magnificent
Cons: The building is outdated, needs renovation badly, the inside pool was cold
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location is great
Cons: The service was really bad. The room is not very clean
7.9 Good
Pros: New room of the same category was excellent but the first one (I booked deluxe room with partial ocean view) was given to me has inner yard view with a bad smoking smell. However, new room was 365 Euro more expensive per night.
Cons: Some staff attitude at the check-in
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: It’s tired and needs to be refurbished. Too expensive for what’s in offer.
La Maison du Lierre - Biarritz

Overview Reviews
With a stay at La Maison du Lierre, you'll be centrally located in Biarritz, within a 10-minute walk of Casino Barriere and Grand Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good area; very close to most things
Cons: staff didn't speak ANY english which made asking questions difficult
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful mansion style hotel in good condition, with great city center location, only two minutes from the local food market in the restaurant and shop packed ”Les Halles area” of Biarritz. Five more minutes walk and you’re at the Grande Plage. We took a swim and hung out at the beach every day, and the hotel felt close enough for us to quickly return to when we wanted to take a shower and change clothes afterwards. It’s not a seaside location, but it is close. The friendly staff here greets you with big smiles every morning. They are really nice and service minded! The room was very clean, and though it was a bit stripped down in terms of decoration it had everything you could want in terms of space, nice bathroom, comfy bed, big wardrobe and a good refrigerator (wich came in handy, since that food market tempted us to buy delicious cheese, butter, croissants and all sorts of fruit most every day). Last but not least, the Maison has a nice little secluded garden with beautiful flowers, trees and that ivy, wich gave the mansion it’s name (Lierre), clinging to the walls. The setting is complete with a little water fountain and generous seating for both catching a bit of sun or to sit down and have a bite to eat. I will definately return here. We really enjoyed it.
Cons: Close the windows at night or you will get mosquitoe bites for sure. No biggie though. The ceiling mounted fan will keep the room nice and cool.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so lovely and gave great guidance, not just about the area, but about our next destination in Spain. Rooms were beautifully laid out and the whole hotel was just gorgeous. The atmosphere was great and felt open and airy, despite not being a very large building.
Cons: Nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super super location, central and near the market/interesting shops and cafes but away from the noisy bit nearer the beach. Right by the bus stop to the airport or station. Small room/tiny bathroom but cleverly laid out with a lovely balcony and charming view of the garden and street below. Super friendly helpful staff. Bright breakfast room (on the ground floor with views), nice garden to sit in. Very chic. Definitely staying here again.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that the coffee at breakfast was from a machine (Nespresso or whatever) and not very good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great customer service, very clean and modern facilities in a beautiful old building. Breakfast is good. Location was really good for both sightseeing, beaches, markets, buses etc.
Cons: Air conditioning rather than the ceiling fan would be better for hot weather. 3.30 check-in was quite late if arriving to Biarritz early in the morning.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is good. Breakfast is fine, including eggs. All facilities are new and clean. Staff is very helpful, shared tips on really good local cafes and restaurants
Cons: Room size is tiny, barely enough for 2 people. Mosquitos
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room and bathroom. Coffee and tea facilities are a plus. Security is good with a code to go in the building. Walking distance to the market.
Cons: Nothing much
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly and helpful checkin
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the centre of the old part of Biarritz, near a nice park and in walking distance to many restaurants and bars, the beach etc. The staff was very nice and friendly, very helpful and also spoke good English. The building is a beautiful old house which has been tastefully decorated and modernised and has a nice garden/patio. Our room (standard category) was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was functional and clean. You can book a parking space in a carpark nearby (just 1 minute down the street) for 14 EUR per day.
Cons: In the morning it was a bit noisy with banging and squeaking doors (maybe some oil would help for the latter) - but I guess that is the case in many hotels and earplugs do help. The rooms wasn't exactly big and had only one chair. For the rather high price (170 EUR) one would expect at least a second chair or an included breakfast - but maybe that's just what prices are like in Biarritz in the summer...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, not over the top in personality. Helpful in recommending restaurants & sights to see. Loved that it was a small boutique hotel and close to Les Halles and great bars.
Cons: A small fridge in the room would have been an advantage.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and the staff was both friendly and helpful. We arrived on the hottest day in middle of summer and they provided us with both cold water bottles and wet towel
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located right at the heart of Biarritz, location is excellent. Room was very clean, quiet, there is an elevator and the staff are very friendly. We did not try the breakfast offered at the hotel.
Cons: There was no AC in the room - maybe something that can be added for the comfort of the guests. Also, there was no particular view out of the window. Parking is a bit difficult/expensive to find near the hotel during the day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is very good, there are a lot of restaurants and bars near, also the road to beach is around five minunes. Staff of hotel is very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff and a very comfortable room. The location is excellent, close to the beach, shops and restaurants.
Cons: Soundproofing could be improved between rooms and with it's central location noise could also be a problem from the surrounding area. It wasn't a major problem even with a room facing the street, but ask for a room in the back if you need peace and quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful Breakfast was also very good. Would recommend and would stay there again.
Cons: The room was noisy of a morning as it was near to reception and everyone coming and going were loud. Even staff. Impossible to sleep in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and friendly staff . Great location . Extremely central to everything . No parking but the car park was very close , payable of course.
Cons: Breakfast was basic but then what do you expect for 8€. The beds were very hard .
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and rooms are nice. Located in the heart of Biarritz.
Cons: The reception is only open until 19.00 every day. We had a later arrival, at 19.20 nobody was there. After a call they tried to open the door via Smartphone, didn't work. By random another guest came by and opened the door. Inside or card was available at desktop. Card payment wasn't possible, had to pay cash. Parking spot is in the public area and difficult to find, with luck we got one. Not a good Hotelif you come with your own car.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location excellent for nightlife but noisy if that's a problem for you.
Cons: Bedroom was tiny but small balcony helped. Bathroom was even tinier with barely room to turn around
7.5 Good
Pros: Staff were helpful - provided towels for the beach. Location was great.
Cons: Room was quite small. Breakfast a little basic.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was brilliant; near loads of bars, restaurants, shops and 2 mins walk to a lovely swimming beach. Our room was spotless and the staff very helpful.
Cons: It was a bit noisy at night even though we had a room at the back.Breakfast was basic; Some fruit or yoghurt or cheese/ham would improve it.

Pros: Great location, high standards of hygiene and very friendly staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and very good location. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: More plugs (around the bed) to charge devices by night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, lovely design and attention to detail
Cons: It’s not clear that you have to pay to use the outdoor pool (it’s in all the photos and this is given a very low profile in the information)
4.6 Okay
Cons: The room has about 9 sqm ² , Room 303 with sea View , Price 280 € /night. The room is a little larger than the bed. The architect was so clever to do a glass shower in the middle of the room to make it look larger. Also washing place without privacy, who the f.. has designed that ? I have jugded about 100 hotels in the last years via booking ( mostly 5 stars) , but this place has by far the biggest price gap between standards and prices . You just feel cheated when staying there . So no recommendation at all .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is really nice! Close to everything in Biarritz, it takes you 2 minutes to get to the beach and up to 10 minutes to go for good cafes and restaurants! The staff is nice and helpful! And breakfasts were very good as well! Highly recommended :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice.
Cons: The hotel must be renovated.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Highly recommended. Very helpful and friendly services. Optimal location near to beach and city centre. Brilliant and delicious breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: The view! Bed comfy
Cons: The air conditioning didn’t work and it was the midst of summer. They could have mentioned this when booking as they contacted me about something else. At night it was too noisy to keep the windows open so it was a very uncomfortable night. I was promised a proper discount and all the managed to take off was 10%! Over 300 euros for a room with no airco in the midst of summer is really not on!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, next to the beach. Very good breakfast
Cons: No parking Small room

Pros: In the heart of everything, yet so quiet! The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and had AC. It was a lovely respite from busy day’s hiking, swimming, and jostling crowds. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Parking was available onsite, which was huge for this busy town!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: If you're wanting to enjoy the food and drink of the city this is ideally placed right opposite the food market. Pretty spot with nice design and good parking. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Pricey, even for a standard room, and no menu for drinks which proved to be extortionate! Still, Biarritz is an elegant coastal resort so I guess you get what you pay for.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean and staff was really friendly!
Cons: It was all good!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, quiet and pitoresque, in downtown Biarritz walking distance from the main beach and parking lots. Charming facility, excellent cleanliness and tastefully-furnished rooms. Beauty kit available including fluffy bathrobe and slippers. Tasty breakfast with lots of handmade cackes, although savory food is inadequate.
Cons: Although it's a 4-star hotel, the reception is open until 22h only. The breakfast is excellent but expensive if considered that most of the savory food (i.e. omelette and bacon) is extra. Rooms' furnishings is minimal, and if you are not a light traveller, you may not know where to place your belongings orderly.
7.1 Good
Pros: Effective air conditioning. Comfortable bed. Friendly and attentative staff
Cons: The room was very small, and the bathroom cramped. Breakfast wasn't included in our deal, and we decided to skip it altogether since it mainly consisted of sweet stuff. The door to the guest toilet in the reception area was broken and people were either locked in or could not lock.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and friendly staff.
Cons: Not a fan of bathrooms with no shower doors/curtains.

Cons: Nothing! Everything exceeded our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The stuff was super nice!
Cons: At the breakfast buffet the boiled eggs were too old and didn’t taste good anymore.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff very helpful and great position for everything. Free beach towels and beach umbrella was a nice touch. Black out blinds were good.
Cons: Maybe an English channel on the TV would be nice, but you are on holiday so not a problem. Also shower a bit dated but it all works.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, great breakfast and very helpful staff
Cons: Parking was a bit of a challenge
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located, nice interior style and very helpful team made our stay in town very comfortable and looking forward to be back! Great plus was as well that they accepted dogs, we felt welcome!
Cons: The house (or at least the first floor rooms) seems not to have good isolation, so you hear every door, bath use or louder conversation, can’t judge for the upper floor rooms.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location but quiet and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: This hotel used to be amazing place to stay in Bordaux. However, they haven't been taking care of the place and now the quality for the value is not worth. Bed is good and room size too. Perfect location and nice common living area.
Cons: The rooms are old. Our room had a huge leakage on the seeling. The two arm chairs in the room were old and the fabric really dirty (quite disgusting to even touch). Bathroom is really old too and the window had a pigeon nest on the outside so pigeon were all the time there. We booked a superior room and it was not worth the value.

Pros: Fantastic location
Cons: People working there were rude. That's strange in such a place
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property is very close to everything in the tourist area of Biarritz.
Cons: It was a little expensive, but the room was very large and it was peak season in Biarritz
7.5 Good
Pros: Our visit was just before G7 so this had an effect on it. Location is fantastic - superb views. Room was high specification but small considering the price we paid.
Cons: When arriving we were told how much breakfast was so we thought we hadn't booked it, although we had - however this was well dealt with by reception with a refund when we checked out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location, The staff were fantastic and the property was well maintained and very clean. (I truly loved the whole experience. I do suggest the bigger Suite with the large balcony, superb.
Cons: More choice of food at Breakfast and dinner
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, staff were helpful
Cons: Even though the room was split level we found it small for two adults and one 9 year old
7.9 Good
Pros: I liked the location
Cons: I did not like the fact that the hotel does not offer anything else except location
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, well equipped rooms, friendly staff, lovely breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and view
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is small and compact in an excellent location for views and town access. The rooms are stylish and comfortable.
Cons: The central location proved a problem as it was very noisy and the noise began very early in the morning- around 6.30am with shop and restaurant deliveries. An exceptional issue also affected us - the removal of items relating to the G7. This compromised the pleasure of our stay considerably.
6.3 Good
Cons: The bed needs a new mattress and the staff were not friendly.

Pros: Convenient location. Large clean room with nice bed and some cozy balconie. The old female receptionist did not speak English but she was nice and tried her best to explain us all the information. I did not have any communication trouble. The other male receptionist talked English and he was also very kind.
Cons: None
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Management were fantastic. Very helpful and accommodating. Location was excellent as was breakfast.
Cons: Air conditioning would have been good but other than that it was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room and very French. So many places have been “modernized” and the character of the rooms gone. This place is quaint and still has everything you need. The staff were delightful and helpful. Great location, everything in walking distance.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is great and the staff are friendly.
Cons: There could be a smaller fridge in the room to allow cold water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpul staff. We were able to leave our luggage after checking out to be able to have a last walk in the city before going to the aiport. The location is perfect, it's easy and quick to walk to the center and the sea side. I am a light sleeper and have back problems but I slept very well. The room was quiet, no noise from the other guests or from outside (even with the window open it was fine) and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: It's being a bit fussy but the bed sheets were a bit old and really not soft, it felt like paper.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was OK. Likes the property generally and they were friendly.
Cons: No air conditioning and the road was noisy so couldn't sleep well. Could have done with a bar area
7.9 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds. Very good shower. Peaceful.
Cons: A little help carrying our luggage. Read that breakfast was exceptional... it was ok ...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: On the doorstep of all amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comes highly recommended.
Cons: Can’t improve on perfection.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast good, cooked and served by Madame location excellent, nice family run hotel Our flight was delayed and arrived late ,monsieur stayed up for us .Thank you
Cons: if we had known we would have asked for a room at the back of the hotel off the busy street
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is extremely charming. It is pretty and in a great location. The staff/owners are so kind and helpful and they made my stay absolutely perfect. I will definitely stay with them again when I return to Biarritz. My room was huge and the bathroom was very large too. Everything was spotlessly clean.
Cons: There is absolutely nothing that could have been done to make my stay better. It was perfect!
Overview Reviews
The majestic 5-star Regina Biarritz Hotel & Spa by MGallery Collection overlooks the bay of Biarritz. Inspired by French Art Deco and Haute Couture, with elegant rooms and suites overlooking the ocean or golf course, a restaurant with terrace overlooking the lighthouse, and a lounge bar with a vast patio housed under a glass roof inspired by the Eiffel Tower. The spa and outdoor pool add to the overall sense of well-being and relaxation. Valet service and free car park
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed at Le Regina three times now and so, obviously, we really like the hotel. The rooms, which are admittedly expensive, are beautifully appointed, with huge comfy beds (and the all-important air-conditioning), and are fastidiously maintained by the housekeeping staff throughout the stay. The hotel is a picturesque ten minute walk from the town... which suits us as it means there is an "air of calm" at Le Regina which contrasts with the hustle & bustle of the centre. The pool area is extremely relaxing with plenty of sun-loungers - we have never experienced any difficulty securing a couple whenever we have turned-up. Finally, there is ample private car-parking at the hotel.
Cons: The hotel quite rightly describes its beautiful, period atrium (their "patio under a glass roof") as the jewel of their crown. Unfortunately, it is always empty... which is such a shame. We wonder whether this may be a result of the bar drinks being so very expensive (€7 for a cola; €16 for a cocktail)? The price, and the lack of atmosphere in the room resulting from the lack of guests using this particular facility, certainly served to prevent us from using the facility... again, such a shame as we would have loved to spend our evenings enjoying the surroundings.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The spectalur ocean view from our room The excellent service and friendly staff The wonderful design of the hotel especially the large lounge and the bar
Cons: We would have liked the possibility of ordering something from a menu at breakfast for example a fried egg or an omelette
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bed and bedding were lovely and room was perfect.
Cons: NA
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel.us first class.
Cons: Nothing at all
5.4 Okay
Pros: The staff was very friendly
Cons: The hotel is not beachfront as advertised. Even with an ocean view room you back up to a loud road. The pool which appears to be next to the ocean in the photos is actually in the parking lot.
6.7 Good
Pros: Swimming pool has great set up
Cons: Restaurant: set up and ambiance (nonexistant) don’t work with the menu (excellent food) and the prices
10.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff, great location, lovely restaurant for dinner, very helpful sommelier and relaxed breakfast, nice pool. Good location for walking along all the beaches
Cons: nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Free parking is a great ammenity here. The bar is also wonderful-good drinks at pretty reasonable prices. The room was very quiet, which was great, and the staff were friendly. The location is a very easy walk into town.
Cons: I don't think this place is a great value for the $$$. For what you pay, you get tiny rooms, and not the level of service you'd come to expect. For example, there is no minibar, just a fridge where they give you two bottles of water ONCE. We stayed 4 nights, so replinishing our water supply would've been much appreciated, even though we were expected to pay for it. A minibar with snacks and drinks in our room would have been much appreciated. The photos of the pool aren't exactly what the pool actually looks like-it sits right off the parking lot and doesn't have a view. The view from our room was lovely, and the bathrooms fine, but the room was tiny for the price. The breakfast was also very expensive for what you get.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Position, we had room 102 with adjoining space as 3 of us which has a sea view. Staff very helpful & friendly although don’t speak very good English (should have brushed up on my French) Food is amazing & although we only order a main course we received three amuse bouche plus delicious bread & then a small dessert treat. Swimming pool was also in a perfect location within the hotel & plenty of umbrellas for shade. We also had two facials which were amazing!
Cons: Nothing to report!
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The difference of daily room rate when I added 2 extra days at the front and end of stay

Pros: Great location. Good room and bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing was good
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and gorgeous view. from bedroom
Cons: Bathroom could be more modern and spacious
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were lovely & it’s in a good location.
Cons: For a 4 star hotel, priced accordingly, it left a lot to be desired. The toilets on the first floor for guest use were dirty, the toilet seat was completely broken off, the floor was wet. The room didn’t have a bath, there was a kettle but only paper cups, yuk to drink from & almost useless 2nd time. And the key system wasn’t working so we had to have a staff member let us into our room each time, ok but not ideal.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Reception staff very pleasant!
Cons: Ice making machine in the reception area. Better standard of coffee and herbal tea and a small biscuit in the bedroom.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel. We stayed in a Privilege room with ocean view on the 8th floor. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room with lots of little extras such as sewing kit, complimentary minibar with soft drinks, toiletries, ironing board, etc. The ocean view itself is worth the extra cost and was lovely to wake up to in the morning. Nice, friendly staff on reception and the cleaning lady was an absolute sweetheart. Great buffet style breakfast with fantastic choice of hot and cold food, frequently replenished by efficient waiting staff. Breakfast is served from 6.30 until 11 am which went down well with teenage son!
Cons: The location is great, very central (Biarritz is pretty compact in any case) and literally a couple of minutes from the beach but, as the hotel overlooks a square with bars and restaurants, there was some noise and shouting in the early hours. Within the hotel itself, the soundproofing is excellent and you cannot hear your neighbours or people above or below.
7.1 Good
Cons: The noise in the street from the local teenagers with loud speakers
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent. Minutes from the Grande Plage.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, comfortable bed and pillows, bedroom was very clean and nicely decorated.
Cons: Too expensive for what you get but it was a last minute booking so maybe that's why it was so expensive. Overpriced breakfast that we absolutely decided to skip and visit the food markets instead

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: We liked that we could walk in to town and parking was easy. The staff were charming and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. It seems to be under the flight path of the nearby airport, but the windows are triple glazed and it didn’t trouble us.
Cons: The ‘sea view’ could only be seen from a small window overlooking the car park and was not worth having once in the room. The cost/value was not great; the room decoration was poorly done and the colour ways just awful. Everything looked tired and without thought for the guests enjoyment of their stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Parking in front of the hotel, possibility to use the spa, little balcony, nice shower, friendly staff, light and spacious room
Cons: Written information (posters, informative emails,...) only in french
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Use of the swimming pool/ spa Friendly, helpful staff
Cons: No tea/ coffee making facilities Not a good choice of food in the restaurant.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Walking distance to a nice beach. Free parking.
Cons: Far from center of Biarritz. The SPA, that was in another hotel across the street had very few / none times for treatments. The actual SPA was more for the areas orderly. Not worth paying extra for. The staff were not helpful, I wanted some simple food but they were not able to even give me some nuts. I also wanted a glass of sparkling wine, but no they could not serve me a glass even when I saw they had a open bottle in the fridge. Boring room. I recommend you to live ook for another place!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, quiet, gentle walk to main town and beach promenades.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was a pleasant walk along the coast into central Biarritz. The use of the spa facilities was a lovely bonus too.
Cons: Breakfast was overpriced
5.0 Okay
Pros: The view
Cons: Even though the hotel literature will tell you it’s 10mins from Biarritz centre it’s more like a 15-20min walk with a steep hill to start with. There appeared to be very few hotel staff available except around breakfast, the hotel bar or restaurant were never open. Requested quiet room but was actually quite noisy with doors slamming and the room itself had a regimental 10min pump like sound which at night kept you awake. Lastly there was no mention at check in about breakfast or the cost of breakfast and whether it was included in our booking. Breakfast was ok if you were there at the right time, but it is not worth €15pp especially when items were not available and equipment to prepare own breakfast was not maintained to enable this. Parking is free.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Restaurant at the hotel was better than expected, especially the service.
Cons: There was someone in the first room they gave us. This was quite disturbing.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice location close to excellent beaches off the tourist trail. Really great bonus to have access to the swimming pool and spa facilities just down the road.
Cons: The bed needs updating with a new mattress. A shame that the high spec reception area did not continue to the room. All the budget seemed to have gone on the bathroom, which was nice and modern, but the room felt very dated. Could also have done with some pictures on the wall to make it more welcoming.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice spacious rooms with great AC. The location was good though a bit further from town centre. There was close access to a beach with a cute cafe and all the surf lessons. The hotel was also right across the street from the free shuttle that goes into town.
Cons: It would be great if there were fridges in the room given it is a holiday destination.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location near town and sea. Average hotel for the money.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very helpfull staff, flexible all the way. Food was OK, and offered spa & fitness facilty was fine.
Cons: Thin walls / rather noisy rooms.
6.3 Good
Pros: Pleasant and very helpful staff on reception.
4.3 Okay
Pros: terrace
Cons: Poor breakfast..€12.00 each. No coffee available on return to hotel at night. No machine, nothing in room, no room service ruined a good evening out
7.7 Good
Pros: while you are a guest you can go to the spa complex near the hotel for free with sea-water swimming pool, saunas. the hotel has got parking area and it was very important in august!! there is a good restaurant also.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Hydrotherapy pool
Cons: A computer error resulted in my booking being made for a basement room at Atlanthal several miles along the coast instead of in Biarritiz as booked. Since I did not have independent transport this was entirely unsuitable and I had to book at another hotel for the rest of my holiday. very disappointing.
7.2 Good
Pros: The welcome and the service at the reception, the sea view , the equipment of the balcony and the comfortably beds
Cons: The continental breakfast might be more extensive
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were excellent and the position on Milady good - not too busy with access to a nice beach
Cons:
7.2 Good
Pros: The restaurant had a good range of food, and it's very resonable if you take their menu of the day. The proximity to the highway was excellent if you're using Biarritz as a base.
Cons: The restaurant closes at 9.30pm, too early for us. It was a little far from the city centre.
5.6 Okay
Pros: the room facing the ocean, close to the city center, staff is nice and helpfull, the restaurant has a nice menu.
Cons:
4.8 Okay
Pros: Spaciousness of the room and views of the ocean from the roomy balcony
Cons: Bathroom no curtains for showering also shower head had to be hand held, hook was ineffective.Queen size bed was 2 singles stuck together.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location was excellent, approx 200 metres from the town and beach, very little noise. The room, although very small, was very clean.
Cons: The room was on the second floor, and with the temperature very warm at night, it needed air conditioning as you couldn't leave a window or blinds open because of the massively bright street light a few metres away from the bed window. There was only a small fan to keep it cool and this was insufficient so very little sleep was had.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Very small room, needing new wall papering/painting, bathroom door was chipped at the bottom. No fly screen on the window to prevent insects or unwanted 4 legged animals enter! No AC in room and the carpet both in the room and stairway/landing was very dirty.
Cons: As above

5.4 Okay
Pros: Location only
Cons: The room was very basic and overpriced. Bathroom was ok . Extremely noisy at night , due to single glazing . Windows badly needed painted. Air conditioning machine was very noisy in room.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Parking was an issue as we had a big car which would not fit in the underground car park. But we found an outdoor car park just 5 mins walk away.
7.1 Good
Pros: Well located for our needs. Local to parking and restaurants. Staff really helpful. Sea view and balcony good.
Cons: Tiny room compared with site photos. Bathroom tiny difficult to get into shower or dried in. Poorly decorated room, area of ceiling not painted. Bathroom could have been cleaner mould at bottom of shower area and odd drain smell. expected better for the price we paid for the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a room with a balcony overlooking the sea and square below. Really great location. Walk to all the sites. Restaurants right there in the square along with live entertainment. Incredible sea views. Staff nice and helpful. They even had a dog bed set up for our dog when we arrived.
Cons: Parking a little tricky. Limited spaces but if you can get one it is a subterranean garage right in front of the hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: We loved the location and the balcony looking at the sea!
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: Everything looks cheap, old, the corridors too narrow The hotel needs renovation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is really awesome place for staying for vacation or other holidays. Location - in the heart of Biarritz, in the center of cultural and travel life, in 5 mins walking to the ocean and in 10mins - to famous Grand Plage. It is a wonderful hotel with very kindly staff and very and very comfortable appartments.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Earlier check-in. The room was not available until nearly 4pm.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the square next to the beach. Paeking very easy nexty to the location. Great stuff to see and do in walking distance. Verty friendly staff.
Cons: Some people might be initmidated by the small roads leading to the hotel.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: This hotel is in a reasonable location. However, it masquerades as a four star hotel when it is closer to a two star hotel. Avoid.
Cons: There is no car park – even though one is advertised. There are no central rooms. There is no bar and no dining room. There is no room service. The so-called Junior Suite was just a regular two-star room with an uneven floor. There was no coffee machine, just a small kettle. The terrace was a tiny balcony with a miniscule table and two tiny chairs. Not ideal for a three-person booking. Towels were only provided for two people even through it was clear the booking was for three. The one single lift was tiny, slow and fit for three people at a push. This hotel needs to loose two stars.
