The aircon was chilled as ice. Overall it looked like a decent place and is in good location. I booked for 2 days end of march.was in bangkok to get myself home as the borders were shutting everywhere.had to leave on the first day as I got a flight back home admist all the covid chaos.considering how empty the dorm was they still charged me for both days.which is okay, but as a business I would still refund to keep the goodwill.
This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and will continue to return when in Bangkok. Friendly helpful staff to answer all questions, quiet location yet close to everything. Clean facility. Great food on site. Highly recommended
It far exceeded my expectations for a hostel. Clean, private, quiet and a great location with lots of great atmosphere.
The bed was comfy (but no curtains) and the place generally clean (other than stained sheets). The shower was really good, and the price of the stay in line with the area (but not cheaper to suggest all the negatives).
The main problem was with the staff being quite rude. I had stains on my sheet and when I went to report it I was simply told 'what happened'. They were already there. They changed sheets, new ones also stained, not a single 'sorry'. Same staff person when I asked if there are water top ups suggested I drink tap water, which is not filtered. They should simply not say 'you can drink tap water'!. The air con was freezing at 23c one night and 21c the next, on all night. Loud music right under the window every night until past midnight and people shouting and singing, although maybe that's what people seek in this kind of hostel? Other places in the road looked a lot quieter for similar price.
Far to many bunk beds. Wasn’t that comfortable.
