Pros: Hidden gem in a historic downtown working had to comeback. New local seen is catching on since our last stay at the Padre a couple of years ago. Several cool night spots and bars with a hip music scene within walking distance (Sandrini's and the Alley Cat, very fun!)
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable and I loed the big shower.
Cons: liked everything.
Pros: The room, bar, restaurant, lication
Cons: Staff overcharged my credit card. Inept employees at counter.
Pros: It was very clean and fresh & nice
Cons: I didn't like the hold they put on your money even after you already paid
Pros: Beautiful and comfortable.
Pros: Loved the look and feel of the place. The staff were all very professional sands courteous. The room was incredibly spacious with nice touches as far as decor goes that I really appreciated.
Cons: No fridge in the room we booked. No bigs, but just a little setback.
Pros: Very nicely appointed. Great decor. Nice rooms. Comfy beds. Great service. Very modern and comfortable.
Cons: Would have liked to see a more spacious room or more amenities (like a mini fridge or microwave) for the cost (we got the basic room). No free parking.
Pros: The beds are incredible and adorable bathroom! Great food for extremely cheap prices
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Great coffee at the coffee shop. Upscale dining was yummy, esp the homemade ice cream! The staff goes above and beyond to help out, even shuttled me to a local restaurant and came back for me. I would not stay any other place!
Pros: The room was very comfortable. Great mattress. Stylish decor. The shower is a little odd because it is between the toilet and the bed with close on both sides, meaning you can look from the bed at the person using the toilet.
Cons: The bottom floor was a club, and you could hear the noise in the room. Also, you have to pay for valet parking because all the surrounding streets do not allow overnight parking.
Pros: Nice rooms. Good food.
Cons: I stayed there two nights and they didn't clean my room while I was there.
Located in the heart of Bakersfield, this hotel is 0.1 mi (0.2 km) from Fox Theater and 1.4 mi (2.2 km) from Kern County Museum. Buena Vista Museum of Natural History & Science and Unity Church are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: The best continental breakfast I've ever had. Friendly staff, clean rooms, 24 hour security in the parking lot.
Cons: Not applicable
Pros: Good price for the room the night my daughter and I stayed there. Clean and comfortable, nice decor. Breakfast was good and available till 10 am. Coffee, teA, hot chocolate were available at all hours in the lobby. Easy access from the 99. Of all the hotels I stayed in while in Bakersfield, this was definitely the nicest. No complaints. Nice toiletries too (Neutrogena), not scary stuff from Malaysia or China.
Cons: If I was going to nitpick, I'd say the scrambled eggs weren't as good as ones I had had at a Quality Inn but really there was nothing to complain about with this hotel. I was a little surprised that their room rates went up $40/night from a Monday night to Wed night (when I returned to Bakersfield) , but perhaps there was a convention or something in town because I noticed a few other 3 star hotels were either sold out or had higher rates as well
Cons: noisy fridge

Pros: Free wifi and breakfast and supper and good location
Cons: No chargers for electric cars and no hot tub and no covered parking

Pros: Wow. Location was perfect and the staff was truly fantastic. Great service and a great experience!
Pros: First-rate service and accommodations. We were ESPECIALLY pleased with the service provided by hotel employee at the front counter.
Cons: Everything was great.
Pros: Nice place, good rooms, fairly new looking.
Cons: The staff, for the most part was terrible. Inept; at a loss for problem solving, solution creation, and just rather ill prepared and, or trained. The manager was the one who lacked the most in explanation, ideas and overall leadership. Many mistakes! Sad!
Pros: The complimentary breakfast was as good as I've had at any hotel, full and fresh.
Pros: Complimentary dinners...

Pros: the free breakfast was so spectacular , delicious, and everything you can imagine , and the service was very good.
Cons: the rooms are kind of 'dated' (although very clean)
Pros: Free happy hour
Cons: On the last day, the beer was warm and although the workers (small middle aged women) were telling the so called supervisor about the warm keg...he seemed too busy chit chatting on a cell phone and aloofly delegated the responsibility to the workers.
Pros: Kitchen and free breakfast
Cons: Room service housekeeping
Pros: Location and breakfast
Pros: Great service, Room was bigger than we expected, Very clean, Beakfast was great ,something different everyday, loved the 24 hour tea and coffee.

Cons: Dirty towel left in our room and the shower door was broken. There were also big clumps of soap residue on the wall in the shower. Was not thrilled about any of that. We let the front desk know and they moved us right away and upgraded us. They seemed genuinely surprised at the mistake by housekeeping, but it was still gross.
Pros: Great breakfast, large comfortable rooms
Cons: My online deal said free WiFi but I couldn't login, tv was small
Pros: Good breakfast and nice staff

Cons: My phone wouldn't get reception so I had to call my wife from the hotel phone. called a couple times, didn't really talk that long, ended up paying 40 bucks for the calls, and they were in state.
They locked me out of the room to get me to come down there and pay, I didn't realize it, so I asked the maid for help, she radioed the front desk and said in Spanish (I look white, but speak Spanish fluently) "the fat man in room 207 is locked out" won't go back again

Cons: The pool is outdoors and not heated. Inconvenient to walk to. But if you don't care about swimming this is not a big deal.
Pros: The hotel was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. It was a quiet and pleasant stay. I was traveling on business (what else brings you to Bakersfield in the summer??) and the hotel had everything I needed for just one night but I could have stayed for several days as the room had a microwave, refrigerator, and separate sink. The outside pool was also enjoyable for a night swim.
Cons: Honestly, the only thing I did not like was that it was very hot in the hallways and elevators - of course it's the summer in Bakersfield so I'm not sure how they could control that.

Pros: The terrace the pool, the room, everything love it I definitely want to go back
Cons: No negative comments everything was perfect
Pros: Staff is very nice and accommodating.
Cons: Construction and renovation was going on which is needed I might add. I am dumbfounded at the prices charged at the pantry. I guess if you have a captive audience you can gouge, I mean charge whatever you want, $6.00 for a domestic beer? $16 for a half bottle of average wine and $30 for the whole bottle. $8 a glass in my room is the same as I pay at the airport! C'mon Courtyard I know you need to make a little profit, but don't force me to leave the hotel. I don't consider myself cheap but after that half bottle, I definitely felt taken advantage of. Similar results at the bar...No prices listed and when I asked "What was on Happy Hour" I was told the choices were $1 off. I preferred the wine not on happy hour thinking "what's a buck or 2." 2 Glasses later, the bill was $28 plus tip. WHAT!? That bottle at the store is$12-$15. There are better choices all around. I will consider those next time.
Pros: Overall very satisfactory property.
Cons: No hot water in the room on the morning of my departure. The problem was fixed by maintenance while I was having breakfast.
Pros: Large room with lots of space, Great window balcony with black-out curtains.
Cons: Prefer breakfast to be available at 6 on weekends as it is during the week.

Cons: Thought it would be a suit, no separation from kids was an issue.
Pros: that it had an indoor pool
Cons: all the kids in the pool as the acoustics were extremely loud
Pros: room clean
Cons: no refrigerator had to request if needed with cost no water in room
Pros: The staff always greeted me well whether they were room attendants or front desk staff.
Cons: The fitness room holds little more than a few treadmills.

Pros: Hotel staff helpful, courteous, pleasant.. Nice bed.
Cons: Couldn't turn fan off in bath, noisy refrigerator, Rooms are worn, stained carpet, smelled very chemical, trying to eliminate old odors. Pool not heated.
Pros: Very accommodating staff and clean rooms, very close to any kind of shopping you could possibly want all kinds of food etcetera.
Cons: The carpets in our room we were fairly nasty, and no complimentary breakfast.
Pros: Nothing really. Location not particularly close to anything except close to my Sister's home which is why I would come to Bakersfield. No other redeeming qualities.
Cons: Bistro advertised as open at various late times on literature but no earlier than 10:00 pm so I figured I was safe to call room service at 9:10 pm but it was closed at 9:00 pm. I had to drive to get food for tired kids and wife ... and I was tired also. Pretty shabby, dirty and poor service at check-in.
Cons: Restaurant is in other building

Pros: Lovely dining room staff. Served by a gal named Jeanine, vet professional and accommodating
Pros: Quiet and comfortable.
Cons: No USB ports anywhere in rooms. Bring any and all electrical accessories for your devices.
Pros: Nice room, fridge froze my items, loud party on night 2 next door
Cons: Very, very loud party in proximity of hotel claimed "quiet room", no fresh (or non-fresh) cookies offered or presented on either night, limited tv channel selection, nothing to drown out noise of party disturbance. Since I was traveling for business, the factor of sleep was a priority
Pros: restaurant was decent, staff were very nice. bed was above average.
Cons: corridors felt dingy and the elevator smelled needs a face lift badly
Cons: Jacuzzi never works
Pros: I love that it's minutes from my job, it was pretty clean and the beds are pretty comfy considering they're hotel beds. The cookies are a nice touch as well, haha!
Cons: I'd have liked for the parking lot to be a little more lit up since I came in so late at night.

Pros: Clean, good for staying the night when you are on the road.
Pros: Close to venue
Rooms cleaned daily
Maybe new carpet
Pros: The only thing I didn't like was that there was no spa. They had a decent size pool, however, I was really counting on a jacuzzi for this trip. A bit of a let down.
Other than the lack of a Jacuzzi, then amenities, staff, cleanliness, and location were all great.
Also if hungry late at night, then call "Rusty's Pizza" excellent food and in good time.
Pros: The room was clean, modern and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Location and price
Cons: I'm not sure if the bed had bugs, but something bit me during the night
Pros: Clean. Quiet.
Cons: Check out was not at 12pm as stated on this website it was at 11am.
Pros: Rooms were clean. Breakfast was decent.
Cons: We didn't mind having to switch rooms due to downstairs plumbing. We did mind that they sent us to another room and we could not get into the building due to the staff not activating our keys so we had to walk back and get them activated which was an inconvenience.

Pros: Good location on a side street so access is uncomplicated. Easy parking. Quiet. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants as well as ability to cook in the room. Well-appointed.
Cons: No hair dryer. I got the distinct impression that this chain is aimed at traveling business men. The grab and go breakfast wasn't appealing to us.
