Rude, insensitive staff missing any element of an actual human touch (hint, when declining a request at least try to explain why so the customer can understand rather than simply saying no and refusing to engage any further)
Easy to get to 10 min boat ride from Amsterdam central runs every half hour. Cheap and rooms were basic with tv bathroom and shower just like a cabin on an actual cruise ship.
Not many shops around area of hotel
Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good offering both continental and hot choices (eggs, bacon, sausage, beans). Location is good if you want to be away from the city centre but with easy (and free) transport to Centraal.
The area around the hotel had little of interest apart from a couple of old boats converted to "trendy" restaurants. Shower in room was very small, no plug in the sink (bring your own like any good backpacker knows)
Quirky. Great breakfast
Tiny bathroom & headboard intrusive over beds
It was a boat that was a hotel!
The bar options. But it was understandable that they were limited due to the fact that it was a boat.
