The aircraft was clean and new. The crew excellent
Boarding was organized. Space enough for luggage. Crew consistent about asking passengers to mask up.
Watching "See" with Jason Momoa on in-flight for free is awesome!
Busy over crowded
It had space. Could have done better with the lining up for grouping
I paid for premium seats and there really was no distinction in boarding or anything else
It was hot af. The flight attendant was incredibly rude, in addition to waking me up 2x to keep getting things out of the bin over my seat without a courtesy apology or anything. I hate flying American.
Really impressed with our holiday travel on American Airlines.
The entertainment screen and power outlet was out of order on whole left side of the plane for the full ride- 6 hours. It was terrible to be crammed in and have no where to escape to.
Insanely crowded, seats are extremely small and narrow and I’m THIN
Delayed 2+ hours, missed connecting flight
This was a much better experiencie than others with AA
Boarded and departed on time, arrived early. Due to covid the plane was a widebody (787) so lots of upgrade options available for those that qualify for that sort of thing. Good food, happy cabin crew, good experience.
Super expensive cross country business flight and the chairs barely reclined, no tv or entertainment offered and the food was particularly bad. Was basically coach!
The lady on the check in counter charged me 118$ for 5 extra kilos, she was trying to come up with anything to make things difficult and annoying for me, the vaccination card, the extra charge then finally my debit card! She was not helpful by any means
On both going and come back from our trip the jet way broke. Costing us 20 minutes to get to the next leg of our trip.
The plane, although parked at the gate all night, had a problem. Apparently the cockpit door had been locked. It took three hours (!!) to get this cleared up.
Very pleasant, on time and I would like to particularly express my gratitude to Michelle, the flight attendant who was not only very kind and friendly but also went out of her way to help me find and retrieve the airpods I had lost while asleep.
I liked the crew, the size of the aircraft (three rows in each side of the plane). The flight was from CLT to AVP and it short and sweet. 8I only wished that there was a flight between 4pm and 8 pm.
Filthy airplane with even filthier lavatories, over worked staff that still did their best to be professional, attentive and courteous but the barest of bones service. One beverage cart offering and a choice of two crackers or 8 pretzels. Granted, this was main cabin but come on, I’d expect just a little more from a carrier that was provide a $7.5bn bridge during the pandemic. Just an unsavory overcrowded bus in the sky experience.
The seats weren’t cleaned and the tray tables were filthy
It was stressful and horrible. We got to our final destination several hours passed the estimated arrival time.
It was horrible and stressful. We got to our final destination several hours later of the estimated arrival time.
Kind and caring flight staff. Comfortable flight
Flight was on time. The pilot kept the temperature comfortable and was very communicative about turbulence.
The flight was on time. We encountered turbulence along the way but the pilot was always informing us of what was going on. The flight attendants were very nice.
Good flight. Landing a bit rough.
Everything went smoothly except the 15 minute wait for ground crew to move the jet bridge to let us off the plane.

Founded way back in 1930, American Airlines is one of the oldest carriers in the world. Existing as part of the America Airlines Group and partnering with US Airways since 2013, it has contributed to recording the largest number of passengers carried and destinations served in a calendar year on multiple occasions. Flights are offered to more than 50 countries around the world and serviced by roughly 125,000 employees.
The airline has their headquarters in Fort Worth; however, it also has a further 9 hubs around the United States, including in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami. They also operate a maintenance hub in Tulsa, which has its work cut out with a massive fleet size. American Airlines mainly uses a mix of Airbus and Boeing planes. A founding member of the oneworld alliance, the airline has codeshare agreements with international companies such as Qantas, British Airways, Korean Air and Japan Airlines, among others. The partnering relationship provides customers a greater range of round-the-world tickets and can lead to more efficient flight transfers. Some of the American Airlines’ fleet have been painted dark grey with oneworld branding.
