Rooms were spacious. Room had a strange smell like bug spray. Lots of chickens next door so there were occasional awful smells at the hotel.
I enjoyed the relative affordability of the hotel and the seclusion from the busy No. 6 road. The area is generally quiet. The staff was friendly as well, and the spa was enjoyable. The included breakfast was great, and the restaurant for dinner is pretty good. The bathrooms were great and modern, and the TV and channels options were great as well. The English skills of the staff were a bit lacking, which often left some requests confused. They couldn't get the credit card machine working either, so I had to withdraw cash to settle my billing.
The staff. Although the staff tried, it just didn't work for us or the friends we made reservations for. The staff was good but too many things were wrong with the hotel. It started with no double bed rooms available but we got one the next day so it was ok. Next, no pillow cases on soiled pillows. Next the air conditioning didn't work which they fixed to just ok performance. Then the door lock wouldn't lock unless I started to close the deadbolt from the inside. Staff tried to take care of it too but a few days later the same thing so we just lived with starting the lock from the inside. We had a problem for several days getting washcloths and toilet paper on one day. There was mold in the bathroom along with a lot of soap scum in the shower area. At night the area was relatively quiet but dogs barked during the day which is no fault of the hotel. Next time we visit Siem Reap, we will stay elsewhere. We have been to Siem Reap twelve times.
big room with jacuzzi, polite staff hotel staff should improve their english and internet connection (not available in rooms as mentioned on web site and very slow in business center)
Nice interior and design, high level of service, helpful staff, hospitality, breakfast, Jacuzzi in bathroom. As well we got better room than we booked, so it was nice surprise for us and we really enjoyed staying in hotel after discovering Angkor temples. Location is not in Siam Reap itself, but there is no problem to get to the city.
Friendly staff, dinner in restaurant was good and not expencive, nice hotel - big. The rooms are not expensive, good value for money. I had a jacuzzi (I think it's named that way...) very inconvenied to take a shower in it! Housecleaning doesn't clean - clean (superficial cleaning). A couple miles from city.
