It was clean, good location and good price
The pool food and the view The bed
Very old rooms, Poorly cleaned rooms, Beds were comfortable tho. Horrible bathrooms, Dingy lighting, Food from the restaurant and breakfast buffet sucked. I'll never stay at this hotel again.
dining near the pool they never repaired the shower which did not work well
I like the food This hotel is good for people that are looking for prostitute male and females, the hotel pictures in the Internet everything looks clean and new but the reality is that the hotel needs to be remodel bacause everything is old.
Overpriced and generally shoddy
We were there for one night and had no time to fix the AC due to a late check in and tiredness ..it was a cuadruple reservation and no extra towels were placed so I had to ask for them..the bath tub was to small and it didn't look clean.
The hotel receptionist was wearing to many hats and it took to long to check in. The hotel was tierd and the room smelt and in need of a refurb Bar prices far to high for the standard of hotel.
the hotel staff was very nice and possess excelent hospitality the air conditioning system needs to be improved, the elevator to go to the guest rooms breaks too often.
site view this hotel have no loppy ,and good resturants,or 2/3 stars only and in rooms have no safe or good firnture, such TV cabint ,clothes cabint is very old ,table is broken,,,etc
If you leave you're overly Rosy expectations in the United States this is an awesome hotel. If you want to nitpick things go spend $200 a night somewhere. This is in a good area with a really cool cafe 40 meters away and it is a 15 minute walk from Conde Street which is very popular and full of shops. I also highly recommend Mandela Pub. It is an expat place and plays really good jazz and classic rock and is run/owned I think by a Spanish lady. The staff at the hotel was super friendly and generally worked hard to meet expectations. I only know 17 1/2 words in Spanish but fortunately can smile fluently in Spanish. There were a couple people who spoke English. The worst thing I could say it about it is that it took me three tries to get some towels when the cleaning lady didn't put any in the room after removing the ones in there. There is a good, very polite cook at breakfast making omelets to order and the breakfast is a good deal.
I took a nice walk around the neighborhood, I had me a nice fillet mignon meal, and I enjoyed the night life there.
Very flexible and helpfull staff, concern for guest safety...
It was economical Economical
the reception ,courtesy , homely feelings /interaction of the staff some amenities missing e.g no pressing iron in the room,no fridge and /or microwave
nothing good about this horrible house of horror!!!! nothing good!!! i will never go back there again. never. the hotel is terrible. it is terrible there. the rooms are very poorly furnished.dirty rooms. the staff, unfriendly. i was over charged and had to pay a fee for paying with card. debit or credit card. as long as you pay with a card, they make you pay extra. sad. sad hotel. please do not go there. there are other better hotels like the hodelpa in zona colonial for just 20 dollars difference.
This is a budget hotel. But was clean, the AC worked. The bathroom flooded, no hair dryer, view from the balcony was of the alley, so I did not use this feature at all!
the staff was very friendly, but outside during the night is not defently quet, good security outside! i.m no so happy ,becouse they charge you for safty box 3 dolars, other hotels is free, the breakfast was horible...
The staff were very accommodating. There are more than three floors and no elevator. Hard for taking luggage up and down the stairs.
The staff were very helpful and their quick response to my needs is to be applauded. I was very comfortable and feel that the staffs are genuine and not superficial. Visitors are checked for identification in entering the hotel other the security system is good
Booking was for 4 nights and I left after the first night. Reason? Ws not what I expected. Having stayed at El Embajador twice even though it's not in the same range yet still see above,
The air conditioning was nice and cool, the staff service was good although they mostly speak Spanish or French, they also speak some English. It can be a bit noisy at night if other guests are having a loud conversation, but this only happened one night during my stay of 6 nights.
The Room service such as tv not working correctly and giving me a single bed when asked for a room with double bed, however don't blem them they could have been limited of room and too many reservation.
THe location, right on the Malecon, pratically walking distance from most attractons. THe wireless availabilty and parking were a big plus. THe breakfast needs improvement
The staff was professional, the room clean, and the location was good. The rooms lacked character and the building was laid out in a way that denied natural light and felt dingy. Half the floor was under construction, with piles of plaster in the hall.
good location, room was fine (clean & with hot water) breakfast service
I found the staff especially willing and helpful. Very nice people! I did try running the water from both sides for a fairly long period of time but only got tepid water.
