It was a room with a bed
No coffee, no water, dark room, noisy hallway, expensive
Don't stay there unless you own a zombie survival vehicle
Staff was friendly and room was clean on the one day I three they actually cleaned it.
Was in the ghetto surrounded by hopeless people with knives who threatened to stab us.
Clean and convenient
Well restored historic building. Room was clean with nice touches of quality. Friendly service
Registration desk/area decor a bit drab and depressing.
Furniture and carpets a bit worn
Booked through priceline, and received a handicapped room
I advise against staying here
No wifi. Gave us a single instead of a double room. Very limited TV channels. Loud...very very loud. Extremely thin walls. I heard the ppl down the hall sneeze as if they were in my room. Staff wasn't very accommodating. Slow and small elevators. Overall, I would never stay here again.
Almost nothing. The lobby was pretty I guess. A few members of the staff made it bearable.
Incredibly rude manager and staff. Had an issue at check in and was met with aggression and condescension. There is literally nothing that makes this hotel stand out. Also watch out for this Kayak contract, you can end up with no room and no refund if you're not careful. Would not recommend, probably won't be booking through this service for a hotel again.
Don't be fooled by online pictures, historic lie
Nothing, I can't even say location because anywhere in SF is easily accessible via taxi.
Dirty room, beds you can feel the springs in, poor customer service. Just because a hotel reports its a historic hotel does not mean room remains outdated and uncomfortable.
Great location but needs improvement
The location is close to restaurants and the mall. Some bathrooms in the rooms were recently renovated.
The bathrooms were small and not very clean. The sheets on one of the beds had blood stains on them. It look a long time to get maid service. The lighting fixtures were dusty. Rooms are overdue for an upgrade. The location is not in the best area of town. There were a lot of homeless people hanging around the hotel.
A little run down.. this part of San Francisco is
Interesting architecture. The internal restaurant was able to serve a really nice dinner and service was first rate!
Be aware this part of market is at the "edge" of the nicer part of market street.
Staff, cleanliness, location
The heater was insufficient.
It was okay
I liked that it was simple and clean.
No sound proofing. So if you're next to neighbors who are just a bit louder than normal, you would hear them. The place looks out dated. There is no room service. Reception wasn't very approachable. Not very friendly.
