Nice staff and great location. Many night clubs that are open all night. Bring earplugs and not a problem
the staff is very helpful and nice
Great location and Great friendly Stuff !
The hotel provides a unique opportunity to stay in such a historic area. The welcome and atmosphere is great. Very nice people who run this great place. You have to expect noise as it is so close to the nightlife-so just bring your ear-plugs and you will be so tired from all the touring around ,that you will sleep fine.
very clean, friendly staff, good location - very good value for money. I would go there again.
In the mittel of the tovn The disco all the night and the noise from the parking place
well placed to ferry port
The "volunteer" guest who was acting as a member of staff who greeted us and checked us in was very pleasant and informative. The noise from nearby bars was excessive and given that they were empty of customers, it seemed pointless for the owners to do this.
This hotel is not only affordable for a solo traveler, but has an ideal location in the old town. Steps away to great restaurants, shopping and dancing the night away. The hotel staff is like family. The rooms are immaculate. This is the second time I stay here and it's like home! My hosts Annika, Michael and Maribel are wonderful.
The staff It was horrendously noisy and we didn't get any sleep until after 4.00 am and we had to leave at 7.30 am!!
A wonderful location in the ancient city Rhodos. We feel ourselves at home. So friendly, sincerely, kind and clean.
I would cassify the Sofia as an excelent Boutique hotel. You can not get a better location for visting the old town. Quaint little Hotel nice and quiet. Best Coffiee we had on our Trip. Staff go out of there way to help you ( Thank you Sofia)
Excellent location, even though it was a bit challenging to find the place. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good, too.
Friendly staff....nothing was too much trouble. They organized hire car booking and even drove us to pick up hire car. Also drove us to an after hours pharmacy to purchase medical supplies after I fell and sprained an ankle. Location in the Old Town was excellent...easy walking to restaurants, sights etc.Would definitely stay hee again.
Room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Location was ideal for access to the old city of Rhodes. Coincidental encounter with "Sofia" at the ferry terminal was an unexpected pleasure.
It was a nice and clean room, in a quiet corner of the old castle. What more to ask? No cars, no noise. 2 minutes walking distance from castle's center and with a beautiful terrace for breakfast. The breakfast itself should be underlined due to the reason that it was biiigggg and tasty...
Very well appointed with tremendous charm. Set in an old style stone hotel but with all of the modern amenities. Beautiful rooftop breakfast area with a great view. The proprietor seems somewhat anti-american but the wife was very friendly. He doesn't like renting the inexpensive room and will try to get you to upgrade.
I liked the location in the heart of the old city. The little appartment was very quiet and we had a little court yard with Lucky(a dog) who slept outside our door.
Unique historic renovation and construction in area of ancient agora. The owners paid great attention to detail in constructing this hotel. in Old Town Rhodes. The outdoor garden area is fabulous. They will share photos of the construction stages if you ask.. The location of the Hotel is perfect for viewing the ancient city.
This hotel, located just off of the cobblestone street, combines old-world charm with modern comfort. Each room has a different look and feel that makes each guest's stay unique. An excellent complimentary breakfast was provided on the rooftop. The lady in charge of the hotel was exceedingly nice. She gave us the option of moving to a large room that had been vacated when another couple decided to be in a room closer to their kids. She was also kind enough to drive us to the bus station at the end of our stay. Overall, we had an excellent visit. While the location in old town Rhodes is charming, it isn't the easiest to get to. Our taxi dropped us off outside of the walls, and it was a struggle to move our luggage down the cobblestone street. However, this is the tradeoff you make to stay in old town. The only other minor issue we had was that the bathroom in our room was small, especially the shower.
Nice terrace for breakfast, and nice balconies in the best rooms. It is an old vine-covered stone house, with old-style furniture, very pleasant, in a quiet place inside the walls (although not very close to the main points of interest). The manager was extremely kind and helpful with us, after we complained for inadequate information concerning how to reach the hotel by car or taxi (especially with luggage!) and about the studios' location. This hotel is far from the nearest gate accessible by car/taxi, and the description page doesn't say which is the nearest gate), Nobody told us to say in advance the time of arrival in order to get help with the luggage. So our taxi leaved us very far from the hotel; it was late at night, we were in serious trouble to find the place and we didn't receive any assistance with the luggage because the manager was alone and could'nt leave the hotel. We had reserved 2 studios, but the studios are not in the same building as the hotel and we were not foreworn. So we accepted to stay overnight in 2 very small rooms, and moved to the best rooms next day. Anyway in our opinion, we payed too much for these rooms. The bathrooms are very small and poor
Our wonderful hosts, the position and setting, the breakfasts and the total ambience.
Beautiful location, lovely owners. Very historic and unique. Made us feel very welcome and special and shared with us their knowledge of local history. Even gave us a bottle of wine when they found out it was my partners birthday. A great stay. Room a bit small and the bed was very hard.
The owner of the hotel made our stay feel like we were guests in his house. In fact, he offered to loan me his cell phone (to which I declined) but made several call on my behalf. Highly highly recommended.
The danish woman at the reception was very very kind and gentle...the atmosphere was very romantic...
The oddness of the building I would prefer real sheets, I could not open the door to the balcony,
