I specified we'd be traveling with a dog and 83 yr and wanted adjacent rooms below 6th floor. No one contacted us but at check-in we had to pay same rate both rooms though 1 was disgusting with stained, unremodeled furniture on 5th, dog floor while room 2 was on 23rd floor. We had to pay a $400 deposit for our trained, knee-high Koikerhundje, plus $50/night. Why did we have such a disgusting stain...

The hotel was clean and very chic. Likely one of the highest towers in the old Quebec area or near it. Great views of plans of Abraham from the room if you are getting a Southeast facing room. Pros (+) Bed was super comfortable and location was great- convenient walk to old town plus Plains of Abraham steps away so kids could run around. We also enjoyed a great brunch at the revolving restaurant in the hotel. We will be back.
Cons (-) Some of the furniture a little tired- specifically worn easy chairs, but seem left there because they complement design. Could use reupholstering, and pool was nice to have but water was a bit cloudy, and walk to dressing room chilly and used as a storage room. It was nice to have on a rainy day, but not super. Cons (-) Lack of modern amenities such as usb port in room. Poor lighting and terrible curtains, the sun was beaming in the room at 5:30am. Poor parking arrangements for the size of vehicles now days.

Pros (+) The staff (older gentleman) was great to accomodate our parking needs. Front desk staff was courteous.
Cons (-) The comforters had black stains. The cleaning staff came into our room at 8:30am while we we're showering. Had we not heard them, they would have caught us naked. Shower had problems, had to call to have them fix it.

Pros (+) We loved the pool area! We had a three year old daughter and she loved it. The location of the hotel was great and close to everything.
Cons (-) We got a room for 3 people. When we got there it was 2 double beds. I wish we had a choice as one queen bed would have been better (with a small child) instead of two double beds which was small for a couple.

Cons (-) Waiting for elevators was horrible. Sometimes waited 20 minutes....when it finally stopped at our floor it was full. In the lobby there was a waiting line to get on 25th floor tough to take stairs
