This is a good hotel if you want something in a great location with no frills. Very simple, clean and nothing special. The breakfast was a lot better than I thought it would be. Rooms were simple, small and clean. The bathroom was nice and good sized.
Convenient to the railway station, shopping centre and main attractions.
The location was good. Walking distance from everything important. Nothing, was pleased with service.
From the greeting at the front desk to the cleanliness of our room everything was excellent
Good location. Good value for the money. Don't bother with the breakfast if it is not included in your reservation. It is not worth the price.
The hotel is of a very high standard in terms of design, comfort and guest services. It is very conveniently located very close to both the airport, main train station and city center. The breakfast is extensive with many items of gourmet quality. The staff are friendly and professional and I highly recommend this hotel in Pisa.
central location, good room rate no view - room 305 looked onto an enclosed air well/vent but the rate was a good one so not too bothered
Not too far away from all the sights, pleasant and helpful staff and extremely clean rooms, very good breakfast buffet. No evening dining room.
Attractive decor - reception/help
I liked the friendliness of the staff as well as the central location and value for money. Nothing!
Helpful and knowledgeable staff - we asked about places to eat and were directed to a superb pizzeria around the corner No.
The location of the hotel was very good, we were near the main train station and the restaurants and bars. The room was functional for our needs. The hotel advertised a shuttle bus to the airport however none exists, this was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. The receptionist was quite rude on check when we asked about the shuttle service.
- Friendly staff - Nice Building - Quiet and within walking distance from the station / attractions - Had to pay to use Wi-Fi - Bathroom really needed updating (smallest shower I have ever been in, literally just enough room to stand up)
Buffect Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice, staff really friendly, Hotel very clean and just something different, unlike the modern run of the mill hotels - would definitely stay there again.
I extremely enjoyed the historic interior - real 19th? century furniture, pictures, maps. Sound isolation is not very good. Though it is not a great problem.
The staff at the Royal Victoria Hotel were very helpful, room had very nice antique furniture and the breakfast was excellent
Nice old hotel.Good breakfast. It's sad to see an old hotel fall into disrepair. This would have been a grad hotel 100 years ago. The shell, dining area and feel are stil there, but the rest is in great need to modernization. Fixing th roof would be a good idea for a start. It would have meant I woldn't have been rained out of my room.
The location is beautiful, The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The noise form the street.
The hotel is in a central area, at a walking distance to the tower, the stores and train station (in case you plan to visit other cities). I was very well treated in the hotel. Although I had to go to airport very early in the morning, I could have coffee and some biscuits in the reception, which it was very good for me and not so common to see in other hotels. The area of the hotel is noisy, particulary in the weekend. I had difficulty to sleep in the first days.
Spacious old interiors and furniture, historically interesting, with no unnecessary modern trappings Noise from nearby student quarters
The building is amazing and the staff are very friendly. I can only talk from the point of view of the rooms I saw but they appear shabby. Room 214 can best be described as a bathroom with a bed in it. If you took the wardrobe and tv out it would essntially be a prison cell. The second room I had was 310. Marginally better in that it was en suite. The fixtures in the bathroom are horrible. My shower door wouldn't slide open and close properly, the shower head doesn't look like it's been descaled in years and the water barely dribbles out at a tepid temperture. The rest of the bathroom just comes across as a bit unclean. The whole place could do with a lick of paint.
We liked the ambience of the hotel and the friendly staff
beautiful immaculate hotel in an excellent location for all the main sights, very friendly staff, lovely garden, highly recommended 10 out of 10
There is very little to commend this hotel other than the fact it is in a good location It was like staying in an overpriced youth hostel. There is a curfew at 1am and, unbeleivably, they do not have 24 hour staff - we needed to book an early taxi and were unable to do so because nobody mans the hotel between 1am and 7am. For a supposed 4 star hotel asking 120 euros a night this is a joke. Also they are totally unfriendly and cannot speak english despite the fact it is an unashamed touist hotel 400 metres from the leaning tower. It was appalling all in all and we deeply regret staying there - they rely solely on their location which is not enough and I will be sure to communicate this on hotel review websites.
situated convenient for sightseeing very close to leaning tower. Staff very pleasent.
Pleasant decor Street noise and noise from building site next door and they tried to charge us for breakfast which was included in the booking
Great location to check out the sites, lovely garden, clean rooms... Staff very helpful... Def recommend it!
Great location in Pisa, very elegant furnishings, staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also a stunning garden for tired travellers! Parking on the street only.
Evertything is brand new
This is a beautiful family run boutique hotel located perfectly for the leaning tower. The rooms are modern and comfortable with beautifully painted ceilings and room names painted above the doors. The garden is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day and it definitely does not feel like you're in the city centre!
It is beatifully remodeled and with a nice garden, the rooms are nicely appointed, the shutters do a great job of blocking the street noise, the air conditioning works well, the location is on a borderline street but only 2 blocks from the best sites. The staff are very accomodating but speak only a little English.
It is in a perfect location 700 meters from the leaning tower.
The Hotel was clean but on the second stay was charged £10 for parking, be warned Really could do with a good DIY person to fix all the ill fitting doors and window panes. (Noisey)
Half way between rail station and the tower, about 10 minute walk max from each. Easy to find, staff ok. Very basic old furniture, a 3 star hotel should have better decor inside. Bed comfortable and room size is ok, but the hotel is for sleeping only, no leasure or holiday purpose.
Location; bus stop right at door; friendly staff at reception; first floor extremely loud, no door between hall way (bar) and guest rooms, thus difficult to sleep before last guests left bar
Dingy, dull and at 40euro without breakfast was expensive. Could do with a updating. Nothing to recommend it aside from near a bus stop with direct service to the airport.
The staff were very helpful on how to get to places and gave us a wicked tip on where to eat dinner or have some drinks! We also had a lovely breakfast that they included in our bill. I would recommend this to anyone on a visit to Pisa it's central to all things. I loved it all! Except my friend who was snoring like a freight train :)
For an overnight stay, its location to the tower is excellent. carpet in room was dirty and old, needs to be replaced.
Staff were very helpfull, room was large clean and had air con. n/a
the price was so expensive
Renevations ongoing, internally looks really smart Very noisy, but part of being in middle of a city and having marble-esque staircases
It was very clean and I found the staff multilingual, very friendly and helpful. The heating did not work, so they gave me another room, which was fine.
Lovely comfortable large rooms with antique furniture. Great location - in the centre of everything and right on one of the busiest shopping streets. As the hotel is located on a main shopping street - the noise of an evening / night can keep you awake at night if you have a room which looks directly onto the street.
The design of the hotel was a medieval age design and was so nice. The room was clean. The staff was not good at english but they were kind and helpful. The location is in the middle of the train station and Pisa tower. You can walk anywhere in Pisa. The bathroom was very small but it was clean.
Staff is nice and helpful. Hotel is in the center. The price is quite highe.
Helpful staff members, extremely close to tourist attractions and retaurants Lack of dedicated parking places, hotels inabillity to offer breakfast and extremely cramped en-suite facilities.
It's location in Pisa is perfect, on lovely street and very near all tourist outings.. It had sky tv but only a few channels in english, a few more channels needed as tourists need a rest and relaxing time now and again from all the walking.
The staff was great and it was easy to find. The rooms were clean and ours had a terrace. The shower stall was tiny, I could barely turn around in it.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. In addition, the location is fantastic to see the sites.
Superior rooms located over Plazza excellent rooms extremely noisy early in the morning from 6am with road sweepers and 5.30am on thurs with set up of market in the square
Beautiful town in the mountains. Beautiful location for the hotel. no english tv
Excellent location - not far from the Central Station (by foot about 20 min.) and the Leaning Tower round the corner. No breakfast, helpful people at the reception desk, free shuttle to the airport!!!!!!!!! Value for money.
Clean but very basic
Good localization and nice staff. The room would be much pleasant if it had more natural light.
Central location. Difficult to find by car.
front desk staff-very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Excellent location. Would recommend to family and friends. no
The hotel is very centrally located, only about a ten-minute walk from the Leaning Tower. The breakfast was decent, too. The room was pretty tiny and the furnishings old and worn out, and there was a quite unpleasant, musty odor when I entered. I had to open the windows even though the weather was cold. Unfortunately this odor usually returned whenever I came back to the room during the course of my stay.
relaxed atmosphere and quiet location
location and parking facility. english channel on TV.
shower was not powerful enough
It is on the way to Pisa tower, close to fruit market, near famous brands shops, near good restaurants and trattorias Room too small, breakfast not very rich, check out too soon.
Its location in the old centre of Pisa The breakfast
Friendly staff decor
It was very close to the tower. A nice hotel.
close to tower man at deak (I think he was the owner?) was very rude. Breakfast was a croissant and tea/coffee (except seemingly if you spoke Italian, you also got juice)
Very basic hotel. We had a room with bathroom. The room was very small but clean, toilet and shower also clean, but there was an awful smell in the room. I think this hotel is suitable just for short stay. The location is convenient, just 5 mins walk to the Leaning Tower.
We were so closes from thecity center
Location. Nothing else Very cold, dark rooms. Poor design, dismal personnel, very official, no personnal attitude
The closeness to the Leaning Tower of Pisa
Location The receptionist
Excellent location and helpful staff. Bad smell in the batroom and could get noisy with traffic outside.
Its close proximity to the leaning tower of Pisa.
Great location, walking distance to all points of interests, nice and very clean room. No printed information about town and attractions, very bad map of the town, man at the reception can not speak English.
Host was very welcoming and nice. Clean sheets and towels. 10 minute walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Lots of small shops and restaurants close-by. Rooms are near the street and not super-soundproofed, had a few loud people passing by earlier in the night but quieted down after 11pm.
