Started with a problem, checking in due to use of a secondary service to book the hotel. They did not have a reservation for one of the two reservations that we made. Next we went into the room where there was a failure to fully stocked the room again after the previous user. Also a dirty washcloth in the room. It is a very standard InterContinental hotel. I would rate it 4+ rather than 5*. It doesn't go above and beyond, as one would expect from a luxury property. The breakfast is mediocre for the amount they charge, the bar and restaurant do not offer much choices and it is ridiculously expensive (32 USD ++ for a chicken Cesar salad?!?!) and it does not provide an amazing value for money for sure. Cons (-) Everything from the quality of room service, attention to detail and cleanliness, broken wifi, and price tag was incredibly underwhelming for a 4+ star hotel. The Hilton a few blocks away is a better value and so is the Westin across the street. This hotel felt stuff, old and dated.
