The Paddington Hilton is in a great location. Coming from the airport with luggage, it's very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the curtains make the room dark. When we did have hot water, the shower had great water pressure. However, it's very outdated. Pros (+) Convenience at Paddington Station, Heathrow Express, and London Underground.
Cons (-) No swimming pool and not any very good restaurants within walking distance of hotel.
Pros (+) The location was perfect for travel to the airport and access to the underground. Could not be better. Staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable.
Pros (+) If you want to have a fast access to the Heathrow and the city, this is the best location. The Paddington station is its backyard. It takes 15 minutes to LHR through Heathrow express and to other places within London through the tube.
Cons (-) You should avoid staying there for any days above 70F. The AC in the room is virtually non-existing. I put the fan speed at high and temperature dial to the maximum (- side). Yet I still have to open the window in a rainy 60+F day to get the breeze in. So avoid it in Summer.

Pros (+) I expect the level of quality when I come to a Hilton hotel. I am pleased that this hotel lived up to that standard. It's a great location especially if you are coming from or going to Heathrow airport.
Cons (-) I booked my stay not directly through Hilton and as a result, I did not get Hilton honors points. If you allow a non-Hilton company to offer your product you should also offer everything that goes with it.
Pros (+) Convenient location and can enter from Paddington Station. Good for a quick 24 hour visit. Staff was very friendly.
Cons (-) Rooms are dated and no blow dryer in the bathroom.
