7.1 Good
Pros: Location in the town and convenient to local amenities
Cons: A bit faceless
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic night at the hotel & in Logrono!
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel could not be any closer to the famous TAPA's street , which we enjoyed . Its also right in town . We used the parking at 15 euro per night , which is accessed via a car lift at the front of the hotel . Not easy to locate initially because of pedestrian access , but trust the sat nav and it takes you to the door . The hotel is a typical functional hotel in town , and we were offered an upgrade at 11 euro per night to get a window at the front , which we declined as we planned to be out all day and night . But if they had the room available a free upgrade would have been appreciated !!
Cons: Some maintenance required in the room we stayed in . Broken plug point , torn curtain , broken wall light fitting, but overall not enough of a problem to not recommend this hotel PS - problem was reported , but apparently the wrong time of day to take action by the staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Right on the edge of the old town. Lift access for carpark. Good secure parking for motorcycles.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and very modern!
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was great and staff very friendly.
Cons: Room was comfortable, but was no view as at the back of the hotel. No tea/coffee making facilities in room and no english tv channels but advertised as satalite television! Was told i had a 'budget' room , but at £300 , without breakfast, i don't class that 'budget' price ! Location was excellent though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is next to the Tourist Office. For an easy wine tasting the Bodega Franco Espanola is a short walk from the hotel just across the river. As a bonus you get to drive your car into an elevator to access the parking garage.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent
Cons: There is absolutely no soundproofing in this hotel. Do not stay here if you want a decent nights sleep.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location in the heart of the city, very nice staff, beatiful view from the window, modern room, great quality :) Highly recommend!
Cons: We asked for a double bed but unfortunately got 2 seperate ones.

AC Hotel by Marriott La Rioja - Logroño - Building
5
8.7 Excellent (1,082 reviews)
AED 404+
Overview Reviews
AC Hotel La Rioja by Marriott is one of the best lodging options in this, well- known, region of the North of Spain. Perfect to spend a few days enjoying the tapas and the famous Wines with Appellation of Origin, our hotel in Logrono is located near the University Area, the Rioja Forum Conventions Palace and just five minutes by car from the city centre. Our Rioja Hotel offers a wide variety of services, such as a Fitness Centre or a Turkish bath, all of them complimentary for our guests. It also features AC Lounge where you can enjoy a varied gastronomic offer. This Logrono hotel guest rooms feature all the facilities that our guests may need in their stay: Plasma TV with more than 20 channels, comfortable beds with four pillows and minibar among others. Free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel so that guests can connect to the internet whenever they want.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Our first room had water dripping from the light fitting in the ceiling and smelt like stale cigarette smoke so we were moved to another room. The next smelt so badly of cigarette smoke my friend couldn’t stop coughing all night and our clothes smelt by the next morning (even the towels smelt of smoke). So, we were moved to a standard room. Which smelt of smoke but not quite as bad. Very disappointing for 250 euro per night. The hotel was advertised as non smoking (all rooms) and 700m from city centre (it’s not). Staff were friendly to deal with but the overall experience was disappointing and inconvenient.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, accommodation, fitness centre.
Cons: Slightly further out from town than we anticipated but the 20 minute fast walk was very good for us!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in ever,
7.5 Good
Pros: Did what it was meant to do.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds
Cons: The ultra modern bathroom has poor lighting, water splashes all over the place
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Local products for breakfast. Good parking under hotel.
9.6 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cookies in hotel reception. Lavender bags to sleep well. Staff very friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean & modern all round
Cons: Nothing all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room has everything a traveller needs. The bathroom has two wash basins which come in handy for a couple. It is spacious enough to take in all the suitcases for two. The reception staff were very helpful and took extra effort in helping us out of the garage, an act that was very appreciated. It's that bit of personal touch that makes the difference.
Hotel Gran Via - Logroño - Building

8.6 Excellent (1,374 reviews)
AED 345+

With a stay at Hotel Gran Via, you'll be centrally located in Logroño, within a 10-minute walk of Museo de la Rioja and Calle del Laurel. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.

Pros: This property was a good location & very clean. Staff great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to the tapas grazing district that makes a visit to Logroño worthwhile.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel in the middle of the city! Clean and comfortable!
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: As 80 Euros went missing from our suitcase, we started not to like things.
Cons: 80 Euros went missing from one of our suitcases. We are confident it was in our suitcase before we entered the hotel because more than one of us checked this. We found the management unable to take responsibility for this, with Marta Del Valle telling us that it was 'impossible'. I thought I could trust the 'four star' hotel, but instead they took advantage of the traveller and tried to tell us it had gone elsewhere when we knew it had gone missing at Hotel Gran Via. Unfortunately, all innocent and hardworking members of staff at the hotel become under suspicion, however we want the member of staff who stole our money to realise that we are confident they stole our 80 Euros at Hotel Gran Via and we will write about this bad experience in our review so perhaps for others who had money/items missing but could not be sure that the hotel cannot be trusted possibly because of 1 member of staff and for future customers who do not want their cases searched for money/items which could be taken. All the usual comments: lock cases, don't put money in cases, use the safe, if that can be trusted for valuables, we even see some people putting a type of cellophane wrapping on to seal cases, if your rushing to a function like we were and do not secure valuables don't expect to see them when you get back at hotel Gran Via, if you have had something go missing but was sure it was at the hotel but not 100%, or elderly and can get confused at times, at Hotel Gran Via they will tell you it was impossible!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms clean great location
Cons: No iron
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, quiet and nice. Very good location.
Cons: Parking space was too narrow. It was difficult to park in the hotel designated carpark. When we spoke to jotel staff about our difficulties rhey suggested parking in the public car park which was right opposlte the hotel-it was very close, convenient, more parking space and safe. Price wise public car park costed the same as hotel caR park -€20/day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, courteous staff
Cons: The first room offered had a strong cigarette smoke odor. The staff promptly replaced it should not have happened. Amenities like a small hair conditioner and skin lotion were not offered and I missed them ...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is lovely
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Polite and helpful reception. Comfortable bed. Having an elevator.
Cons: Breakfast was only average.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, not far from bus station and old town. The staff is very nice and helpful but need to be more careful! I think more people would like to come if they have a better arrangement about the free visit they offer even they need to pay for that!
Cons: They are supposed to give us a free cellar visit , that 's one of the reason why we picked the hotel. However, I have email them about the details but couldn't get response. When we arrived, we found that the visit time didn't suit our itinerary, we need to find another one which they suggested us to take a bus and walk for 20 min. When we got off the bus, the google map showed the walk was 1 hr 45 min and we were in the middle of nowhere, so we walked for around 45 or more after asking and asking. We arrived place after someone called a taxi for us! If the woman in the reception didn't say only 20 min walk from the bus stop, we may not go like this! Walking under the big sun and heading to nowhere!

Cons: Parking about 400 m away.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Next to a Catholic Church

Cons: An evening food option would have been nice
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location in pedestrian zone just next to the old town. Only 2 minutes from the heart of the tapas/restaurant experience. Hotel is top quality with spacious rooms and well appointed.
Cons: Have to mention parking which is a nightmare in Logrono. Locals cruise the streets trying to find space and the meter maids are kept busy. Hotel has a small garage in the actual hotel, but a good arrangement with a close by underground car park.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: Dinner menu wasn't great
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect and staff very helpful
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is nice. Good value.
Cons: The staff were not particularly friendly. Also, our request for two beds was not provided for. I made this request months in advance. The front desk person assumed that because we are a man and a woman that we would want one bed so he moved us into a single bed room and gave away our room to someone else. I was not travelling with my partner so it was awkward. The staff did not care at all. And they were actually rude about it. Also, the whole hotel is carpeted and it looks like it needs a good cleaning. Quite dirty in places.

7.0 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Several flights of stairs to climb when we were exhausted after walking all day!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff, Juan, was exceptionally informative and accommodating. He spoke English fluently and was willing to speak Spanish for practice, if you wanted. His suggestions for local tapas bars and restaurants were spot on. I needed to stay an extra day due to an injury from the Camino de Santiago walk, and he wonderfully accommodated to let me keep the same room (which was very clean and comfortable) for two days at the same price. These personal touches made the stay even more exceptional. The lobby area was also delightful to work in with couches by the sunlight and unlimited coffee and tea.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent clean hostel an in a perfect position. Very friendly & helpful staff who were there 24hrs. Good bright room with large window. Perfect rest place for a break from the Camino.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tucked away on first floor of busy street. Reasonable room, good value. Room clean. Would stay here again
Cons: Basic design and facilities
5.4 Okay
Pros: The stairs were endless: the building two stories and the room on the third floor. With a suitcase and no assistance in this regard I am still suffering back and knee pain. The room was clean. Limited shampoo/(shower gel all in one), but they got me a couple more upon request. The room & WC were small but I didn't need more. Not modern or renovated but that was not a concern. Room and WC have little yet please transfer balconies. I would give a higher eating had there been assistance with luggage. Moreover, a housekeeping lady barged into my room early this morning without knocking!!! Reception staff were very nice for the most part, especially an older lady with short hair. A younger one with short hair was VERY cold and frowned, little or nothing said. Didn't feel comfortable around her. The young gentleman receptionist was also nice. It is a value for money stay, except for the above-mentioned voncerns. AC was a bonus, especially with an exceptionally horrid heat wave. Location fantastic with everything around the corner.
Cons: Please see review above.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and friendly warm staff. Laundry service too!! Room clean and comfortable.

Pros: Location near the Pintox precint was great. The street was reasonably quiet. Beds very comfortable.
Cons: The blinds were only partially blackout and limited powerpoints (only one and we had to move the desk). It was fine - but more like a hotel (albeit accessed by two flights of stairs) than a typical hostel.

Pros: Good air con, pity it only worked with the key in the slot. Good location to train station (10 mins). A launderette was close by too (Google it) 10 mins walk to the main Cathedral and bars.
Cons: Arriving from a 17mile Camino walk to be given a 4th floor room. The lift was tiny and we had to walk up with all our gear. Hardly a smile from the front man on reception. I didn't like them writing my credit card number on their copy of the invoice either. I complained to the lady on reception but it was not destroyed. Instead, I got told it was held "securely". Not a good practice. Tiny bathroom with a useless 1/3rd size bath with shower.
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The AC was leaking water onto my pillow in the first room I booked. The receptionist handled it really well. He gave me a new, bigger room immediately and so no complaints there, however the AC is the new room wasn’t working properly either. It was very hot and the AC struggled to cool the room even when set to 17 degrees so I didn’t sleep a lot. I didn’t complain about the AC as it was too late and I was too tired. Overall not a bad place to stay. I would stay again.
Cons: Air con

Pros: Super helpful staff. Clean small perfect for a solo traveler.
Cons: It is a very short walk to the old part of town where most people stay so feel a little disconnected from other Camino travelers. I’d still recommend it.

Pros: Our whole experience at your hotel was a joy, we would have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends. The room, the service, the location were exceptional, we enjoyed our stay very much.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This has been my second stay in this hotel. I love the location, especially the closeness to the train station as well as the camino de Santiago route. It is situated on the main street, and its not difficult to find. Most locals know where it is, and if you are lots, they can take you there. There is a convenience store on the opposite side of the street, where you could even find a vegan couscous and packed falafel, should it be a problem for you to find early dinner. The restaurants open really late around 1930. The room There is a fridge in the room, two chairs, a huge wardrobe. The lighting is good. There is a bench for your luggage. Good position of wall-plugs. There is a lot of space. The bathroom is huge, lots of toiletries. The staff The staff is friendly and helpful, answering all sorts of questions, helping with luggage - that had to be shipped from hotel to hotel. The breakfast The breakfast is regular like it is in most hotels - croisants, and toast, some fruits too. For the vegans it would work.
Cons: The mirror in front of the elevator on the first floor. I ran into it a couple of times, it is really dangerous for visually impaired. this is the second time I write about it. Have you thought of removing it? it gives a false idea that you have to continue walking ahead as you get out of the elevator, and one day a guest may end up with a concussion. The stairs to the restaurant are unmarked and difficult to see, as well as those at the entrance i was afraid I would fall, or miss any, and then my walk along the camino de Santiago would be jeopardized. I had come to Logrono all the way from Norway, it took me 2 days to travel there, and it would have been a pity. Breakfast is very late, 730, and it would be a pity to miss it, since it is included. Most people start walking that time if they want to go to Najera on foot, these are 30 kilometers, and you have to leave early. Maybe a kettle in the room would be a solution to those who would like to leave early?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was cleaned as expected. The cleaning staff who attended the 3rd floor was kind and very helpful. The receptionist and bar staff were also very polite and helpful. There was an incident with a guest next door smoking in the middle of the night. Although this was completely out of their control, as the rooms are clearly stated as “non smoking rooms”, the personnel acted promptly to provide us with an alternative room and ensure we were comfortable.
Cons: I think the hotel in general provided a great service and there is nothing that was not politely attended by the staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very ample room.
Cons: The views from the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean comfortable room. Excellent, helpful staff. Perfect location for old town and tapas scene.
Cons: Shower over bathtub. Breakfast expensive for ordinary buffet fare.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed and brilliant powerful shower.very clean with large room. Exc location near to Laurel Street. Worth paying the parking at the hotel as underground car parks near the hotel seem as expensive or more.
Cons: Nothing except the hotel could have done with a sign to say who they were on the outside. They only had a small sign on a side wall but from the road very difficult to find.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really great location.
Cons: Everything was fine

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic Hotel
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else.
Cons: The wifi never worked properly.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was fine for 1-night stopover. We didn't use the spa so can't comment. Parking is fun. Had to take car down in a lift & have member of staff help us into lift to get out. Thankful we didn't have a bigger hire car! Columns & edges in car park are padded! Definitely a tight squeeze! Personally I think Logroño & Calls del Laurel are overrated. I much preferred Vitoria. I would happily have missed Logroño from our itinerary.
Cons: Decor! Everything is dark brown!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, as good as at least 4* hotel, nice and clean, sauna and jacuzzi, gym, all for free
