Enjoyed large towels in bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Tad noisey with renovations but did not disturb sleep. Would return again.
Breakfast was Great. There were USB plug ins located in the beds and lamps. Convenient. Laundry on site. Good staff. Clean new rooms. Some construction still going on. Didn't bother us much.
Theyre trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear.
Staff were excellent Decor wa back from 60's. Horrible
Nice comfortable rooms, big breakfast, friendly staff, lots of towels, and the rooms smelled really fresh! When exiting the clarion the road has a trough that's like driving over a curb. I found alternate ways to exit to the road. Rough roads in Mississippi.
I liked that they are always very accommodating every time I come into town. And most importantly I can bring my 2 lb yorkie! The room I always request be hypoallergenic yet I still smell sprays from particular cleaners. May be from the vacuums. But it's still by far the best place!
Smelled bad, air conditioner loud, humid
Near a lot of food and shopping Construction had bugs Around the pool
Close to outlet mall, has a kiddie pool, pool and jaquzi. I thought it was a good price for being pet friendly, and having a pool, continental breakfast, microwave and mini fridge in room. There is a night club connected to it and we had to walk around the whole building to get to breakfast.
I liked the location and the price. I wish there had been more towels in the room.
Friendly & helpful staff Noisy, rude guests
The breakfast was awesome and great to start your day hot and plenty The front desk could be a lil nicer cause everywhere in Mississippi didn't find any others that didn't have a smile or that wasn't polite she was just maybe having a bad day but great hotel
Nice rooms, accommodating staff Both rooms had an article of clothing left from previous guest. As with last year when we stayed there, there was a family reunion, & those guests took over most of the outdoors areas; they were VERY loud right outside our room- before and after quiet time. I had to call front desk 3 times Sunday night- twice after 10:00. I got very little sleep, & had to drive 10 hours the next day. VERY UNHAPPY with that part.
Price Undergoing renovations Airplanes flying overhead were really loud Paper-thin walls Parking lot was in terrible condition, it actually damaged my vehicle.
We loved our Cousy room, beautiful super lean bathroom, the fridge and the microwave. The heated pool was awesome. My 7 year old boy did not want to leave. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The Internet was somewhat slow on the 3 floor. Just a suggestion that my kid has food allergies to eggs and milk and we brought our own Almond milk and he could only have cereal. Otherwise thank you for a great service.
Would have been 4 solid starts, but there was a dirty diaper left in our room, we asked the maids for new towels and got none, and finally, they had no milk at breakfast for the cereal! What? Otherwise, super friendly folks, everything else was clean. I WOULD stay again!! Dirty diaper, no milk, no towels
The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and our flexible schedule and desire to stay extra days! They were helpful will recommendations for restaurants and activities. The pool on the gulfshore was perfect for family and young couples but quite simple. The location and value were remarkable! The pillows on the bed were not great... Also, I was surprised that there were not better sideways and landscaping on this property. The breakfast was ok, but not great, however I could not find a better place in all of town, so I guess that says something too. A few small changes and this place could be four stars for sure!
The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly! Very little parking
Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and huge bathroom.
Room was nice. Beds comfortable, small pillows though. View of the Gulf of Mexico. Breakfast delicious. Table by the window for a view of the water while eating breakfast. Easy check in and out. Very nice stay.
Smoking by the pool.
It was close to the beach. The pool wasn't good for young kids. There was no complimentary breakfast like other hotels. You paid extra.
We had a great beach view room on the beautiful Gulf. We got it for a good price. We will be back.
Easy access to beach and Ship Island Booked 2 nights at $129 per night on Kayak. Extended stay a 3rd day for the same price "per receptionist at front desk". Was charged $109 + tax for first night, $149 + tax for the 2nd night and $149 + tax for the 3rd night. Talked to front desk upon check out and they didn't do anything about it.
False advertisement saying it was an ocean view room. Being on first floor and looking out to see parking lot.
Convenient location, reasonable price. Sheets didn't actually fit the bed and were not fully covering it. I didn't notice until about 10:00 p.m.. I was by myself, so I just slept on the other side where the sheets were covering it. Still, it was somewhat bothersome.
Really nice accommodations
Wow the room ws incredible!! Not a thing
Positives: Room size; Friendly staff; Comfortable bed; breakfast Have stayed at this hotel previously, and would have to say - it is showing signs of wear and tear. They allow pets - would appreciate if they would keep some rooms pet free. Over all this is a great value.. The chairs in the room was shredded - had to call down for a different set for replacement. Bathroom floors were sticky, carpet stained.
I loved everything about this hotel. I will definitely be staying again. I was allowed to check in early which was a big help since i had been traveling with a 2 year old all night. The staff was great and breakfast was even better. The location is close to the navy base as well. I was there tosee my fiance.I would recommend this hotel to anyone. ,I loved everything about this hotel. I will definitely be staying again. Online it said check out was 12 but the morning of leaving housekeeping came in saying i was late and it was 11. So i had to rush and finish packing.
Staff was kind, room was comfortable
I enjoyed everything about this trip especially the shower... it was very refreshing invigorating. I didnt have time to go to the fitness center. Another thing is the breakfast im so use to them literally fixing fresh breakfast meals that it broke my heart to see instant grits. #spoiledramadacustomer
I really liked the location. I do not mind staying here again in the future. I came to the coast to do some Christmas shopping and this was a great location because of how close it was to both malls. I feel like I got a good deal with the price. I really liked how there was a refrigerator and a microwave! The vanity was cute. The room was very roomy and comfortable. Again, it is a good place for it's location if just in town to shop. I chose a to have a non smoking room and it really stunk of smoke! I had a hard time getting the door open with the card. The green light would turn on but would not open. I don't know how I got it open but I was jiggling the door handle until it opened!
The toilet was broken.
Front desk lady was very friendly. Location was dirty. Cigarette butts in the hallway, overall dingy feel. Did not eat breakfast, but it only looked like waffles.
It was a good motel and the pool was good Beach and water front a little nasty.
My shower kept going in and out to really hot and then too cold. So u decided to take a bath so I would scold myself again and the stopper didn't work it wasn't even one there . the phone for the room didn't have a cord so that I could call the front so I had to use my own minsutes to tell them that I had a problem.
Only one trash bin in the room. The door security lock wasn't secure. The TV cable was loose and needs replacing. The bed pillows were hard and uncomfortable.
Paid for a suite. No suite available. Then no rooms but a handicap room. Terrible
Rooms were big, beds and pillows were comfortable. First, my car and about 11 others were broken into overnight, the hotel has no security or cameras. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful after our ordeal. The walls are very thin and can hear a lot in the hallways from your room. And upon arrival we waited over 10 mins for the front desk clerk to come up to the desk. Only one person was working on a Saturday night.
The room was very spacious and comfortable.
The rooms where nice. The bed was very comforable. When I first checked in I asked the guy to extend my stay by one day. He said no problem. Two days later I come back and some one else is in my room. I go down stairs and they say the tried to contact me to let me know my stay was up..... um no I asked the guy to extend it. And they didn't try and contact me cause I asked what phone number they had and it was the correct number. I had no missed calls and no voice mails. They lied. So I asked for my stuff they handed me a plastic bag after checking I asked them where my watch charger was. They had no idea. They kicked me out of my room without evendors a phone call and stole my personal electronics. The person said thereshe nothing she can do her manager will be available at 730 tomorrow.... I leave at 7 in the morning for work. I asked to get another room. They don't haveeven any of the king size rooms so she sticks me in a full size bed where the air conditioner is so load. Thanks fairfield. Enjoy that watch charger.
I had to leave never even stepped in room took my money got no refund not even a I am sorry
I liked the room, it was recently renovated and it was comfortable and clean. When I arrived the front desk was closed due to construction, the employee advised me I had to pay cash for the room which was not an issue however she was not able to give me a receipt because the printer and computers were not working at the time. Then I got a charge on my credit card today 5/24 for the room. I tried to call the hotel and was hung up on and now the line is busy and I can not get through for the past couple hours. The pool was green with garbage floating in it. There were obviously people living in the hotel, it did not feel safe. Many groups loitering around.
People fighting an arguing all night slamming doors. Room I requested wasn't available. Waiting in line to check in for over 30 minutes. Wouldn't suggest it to anyone
Not one thing did I like! Our door knob fell off the door so we had to climb out the window. No amenities in the room at all including towels. There was a hole in the door going to the bathroom. There was a hole in the floor in the bathroom. They told me at check in they could not accept credit or debit cards so I had to go find an ATM to get cash. The people next to us were noisy and even after multiple calls to the front desk they did nothing so I handled it myself. They were rude. The smelled of mold and roaches were every where. Had it not been so late at night when we arrived and had I not needed to be up early the next morning I would have demanded a refund and found another place to stay. I WILL NEVER EVEN CONSIDER STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN!!
The hotel was off the road in a quiet location. The hotel elevators were grossly dirty as well as the refrigerator in the room.
Friendly front desk staff. Dirty bathroom, uncomfortable bed, GIANT ROACH IN BED.
I witnessed drug deals in the parking lot twice. I got locked out of my room every time I left it and had to have the desk clerk come and open my door cause none of the keys they gave me would work. The bath tub was clogged up and had grit on the bottom.
TO THE MANAGEMENT OF DAYS INN IN GULFPORT, MISSISSIPPI AND ALL THE HELPFUL STAFF;- Dear Friends, Family, and "all y'all" in the USA who helped make my stay such a pleasant event this year! My stay at the Days Inn from November 4 until the 16th was complimented by a very attentive Manager who saw that all needs were met- including repetitive requests (that became nearly daily) for a late breakfast with fresh coffee (and/or tea), croissant pastries, toast with jam, and even biscuits with southern style gravy! Always prepared to call a taxi cab for my transportation needs, and arrival that I could set my watch by- life was made easier by the management and service staff of the DAYS INN in GULFPORT MISSISSIPPI!
Day front clerk very friendly and helpful
The price Housekeeping & their cart was extremely noisy between 7am-9am. When we go on vacation we stay up / out late & would like to sleep late. All this very loud noise kept us from doing so. It didn't matter that we had a sign on our door. The housekeeping cart itself was loud as a freight train.
Booked a trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Have stayed at Days Inn many times before so I felt confident in choosing it . I was terribly disappointed. When we walked into the lobby it was dirty and there was a guy sleeping on the couch. When we finally got checked in and went to the room, it only got worse. After waiting an additional 30 minutes for the room to be cleaned when we should have been able to check in according to the hotel 's check in time, things only got worse! The room was filthy, the window painted over with some white foggy stuff, there was glass in the sink and the overhead light did not work. We called the manager who said she could move us to a different room. We packed up and moved and it was barely any better...room filthy, phone did not work...I could go on and on. The whole place was nasty....I mean everywhere....outside, inside,....the elevator, rooms, office, pool area! I would never stay there again....probably never at Days Inn again!!!
Bugs, bathtubs didn't drain right, toilet leaked. toilet didn't flush correctly, noise from other rooms alllllllll night which nothing was done about because those "guests" live there. Pretty sure we watched a couple drug deals in parking lot. First overnight/morning desk clerk was decent, second was very rude. Poor was dirty and nasty, elevator was dirty and stank badly. No accomadations were made or my mother who is currently handicapped. Will not ever stay here again, and I'm in Gulfport frequently.
All the staff was great which includes house keepers and everyone in office. I didn't get all the names however they were are very nice and helped me with whatever I needed. They should all get a bonus of some sort.
The friendly staff and service. Only five miles from beach. Kitchenette. Clean. Beds were not comfortable. Kitchen did not contain what was described it would. Not enough towels.
Well first off staff is rude. Secondly beds linens were missing. We had 5 people in total we were given two towels , and two wash rags between two rooms. When I went down to ask for more I was told they did not have any . House keeping would bring us some in an hour. Sunday morning " mothers day ' and our worship day and no towels . never again.
The overall room itself was stunning. Had an "at home atmosphere" to it. Everything was fine
I booked the hotel online ahead of time. I paid a great price and the location was perfect. Next to the bypass and minutes from the beach. I loved the small kitchen space. Cigarette burns on the covers and a thick smell of smoke lingered. Dead roach was on the floor in the bathroom. No iron and the blow dryer didn't work.
So we were naked , had been in the room a few hours. And in come two black lady's and a kid ( that had there own key) barging in the room. Guess the employee on the shift before had gave them a key to use the fridge cause there's was down! Guess they should have something!
