The guest house is located in Granada’s historic Albayzín neighbourhood (sometimes written as Albaicín or Albacyn ). This area on a hill on the right bank of the Darro River is the ancient Moorish quarter of the city. The White Nest is in close proximity to the Archaeological Museum of Granada ( Museo Arqueológico y Etnológico de Granada ), housed in the 16th century Renaissance palace called the Castril Palace. A 10 minute walk to the north of the guest house, up the hill, the Plaza of St. Nicholas offers stunning views of the Alhambra. The legendary Moorish palace and its counterpart, the Generalife palace and gardens, are approx. 2.5 km/1.6 miles from the White Nest, on the opposite side of the river.
