Pros (+) The staff were nice, spoke English and were helpful. Cheap.
Cons (-) The elevator didn't work, shower head didn't stay in the holder, toilet roll holder wasn't on right, bed was uncomfortable, full of mosquitos. Nothing terrible, but certainly a case of you get what you pay for. Not necessarily convenient for the airport - 20 Euro taxi for the 4 minute ride and no shuttle. You can get the bus in the middle of the day but then you might as well stay in Florence.
