Pros: The location cannot be beat as most of what you would want to see is less than a 30 min walk and if you want to cab it is easy and very cheap (1.39 lei per km or about 28 US cents). The hotel has all you could need and rooms were big, well appointed and immaculately kept. Staff was very attentive and the breakfast that was included in our rate was outstanding. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Truly a 4.5* experience
Cons: They did not seem to have much information on the immediate local area like reasonable places to eat, groceries and such. Not a big deal as we easily found things on our own. Also no detailed local map for the immediate area.

It is a basic hotel, but very well put together, clean and comfortable. Although I only stayed one night, I would not hesitate to make this hotel the base for visiting the city. Great value as price point is excellent at 32 Euro per night.

Pros: This is the second nicest hotel that I have ever stayed in...ever. For the price, I cannot come up with one reason as to why I should not come back many more times in the very near future. I was absolutely amazed by the size and quality of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff, the availability of the many bar/restaurants in the hotel, and most of all...the spa! I was fortunate enough to schedule a marine wrap followed by a Tibet massage. This truly made my trip. I only wish that there are places of this caliber anywhere in the States for anywhere close to the prices paid here. Do not hesitate...book here and make sure you visit the spa.
Cons: No place can be absolutely perfect. This place has only a few items that bothered me. First and foremost, the staff at the Piano bar were horrendous. I was with a party of four for lunch and he literally got everything wrong with my order with the exception of the water. I ordered bacon-wrapped mutton tenderloin, mixed vegetables with cheese, a cappuccino, and a water. Instead I received a beef ribeye steak, potatoes and onions, and a water. The food was absolutely delicious but, really? Can't even come close? After that, we returned to the same place for dinner but they weren't serving food. We ordered drinks and what came out was not even palatable. I had ordered a Manhattan and received some concoction with whiskey, orange, and cinnamon! It was atrocious. And I am confident that the quality of our drinks was due to our poor tipping from lunch earlier. The location of the hotel was not ideal. It was challenging to find and not as close as I would like to some key places. Overall, take little note of the negatives I have listed as this hotel was leaps and bounds over all but one of the hundreds of hotels that I have stayed in through out my life. (If you are curious, the best was the JW Marriott in Hong Kong.) I had thought about giving the hotel a poor review just to prevent it from getting too popular but that would be selfish and they have definitely deserved a great review.
