Cons (-) You get exactly what you pay for, we paid £25 + £8 for parking on a last minute booking because our kitchen and bathroom are being refurbed, we checked in, saw the room offered and checked out, the mess at home was preferable, £33 wasted but a lesson learnt.
Pros (+) I liked the value for money,location and the fact we could come back at anytime of the night where as some hotels aren't like that and also we had a bath
Pros (+) Rooms not been decorated for decades, paint peeling off walls, unclean (hairs in bathroom and suspicious marks on wall next to bed). Staff attitude is 'you get what you see'. Had I paid half the price it wouldn't have been an issue but £140 per night was a total rip off. Cons (-) Everything. Only slight plus was beds were more comfortable than they looked. Some of the junior staff were polite enough but the Manager wasn't sympathetic when I complained. Won't be staying at the Roundhouse again.
