I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD DEAL FOR THE MONEY. THE LOCATION WAS THE MOST BENEFICIAL THING FOR US. IT WAS EXTREMELY CONVENIENT FOR ATTENDING A CONCERT AT THE TACO BELL ARENA. I REALLY WANTED EGGS WITH THE BREAKFAST, BUT OTHERWISE I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS MOTEL FOR FRIENDS AND I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN!!
Great facility and staff. Location is at the edge of town and very close to the airport so shopping and dining options are very limited without driving
Place was quiet, but we were in fairly late and out the next morning. Room was clean. Could use a better internet connection. It was rather slow Breakfast was minimal.
Very clean, comfortable beds, breakfast, later check out time
I was so quiet but I was there on a Sunday night. Breakfast was pretty minimal.
Staff attention to detail Eating/dining options are limited but it not the fault of the hotel
Clean rooms that were very comfy! Came with fridge and microwave which came in handy. The staff was really kind to let us keep our luggage up front after check out so we could keep exploring the town until our ride came. We decided to stay one more night and had to rebook and be moved to another room which was a little frustrating. It would have been nice to stay in the same room and not have to repack. Continental breakfast would have been great if there was some protein like hard boiled eggs (something simple).
We stayed only one night, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly. Overall, it was very good. We stayed on the second floor and during the night, someone on the third floor above our room on the third floor got up and walked heavily on the floor, enough to wake us up twice during the night.
Clean, quiet room, ready on arrival. Bed comfortable. Good web connection. Staff helpful and courteous. Good value, will stay again. Breakfast poor.
This was a great place to stay! Just off the Freeway and right next to the airport (though you couldn't hear the planes!) Downtown isn't that far away either. The staff were very pleasant to deal with. We had many interactions, and from the Front Desk to the Housekeeping everyone was kind, patient, and happy to help. The rooms were very up-to-date and comfortable. They had plenty of pillows, too! It was a nice place to stay. We will probably be back, since we travel through Boise often.
Front desk check in staff was a bit rude at check in. It is a disappointment that this facility does not have an indoor pool, considering it is in an area that has warm enough weather for outdoor swimming approximately two months a year. On that note, having the availability of a hot tub room/exercise room would at least be a favorable asset and more appealing for travelers.
Price was right ... Room clean, decent decor. Thin walls, lower room had cars parking in front of room window. Very noisey guests...
Price was right. Towels were old, room was not completely cleaned after our first night. Our safety lock on our door was broken and the outside secure door was not secure at all and remained unlocked all night. Group traveling with us, in another room, did not have their room cleaned after first night.
Nothing Front office staff. Not friendly. Quite rude.
Loved the room Front desk staff really needs customer service training. They were too focused on smoke breaks as well as smoking right outside the front door. They used vulgar language while talking to co workers while guest were present. They were slow took them 30 minutes to check in a guest. My room key didn't work half of the time had to wait over a hour to get another one made..HORRIBLE
Parking was very limited. Had to park out on the street.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very uncomfortable. The rooms wasn't 100% clean. Breakfast consisted of Apple nuice, orange juice, cereal and yougart. They were remodeling the outside and it was very loud. Hall ways smelt like smoke.
Price was cheap. It was dirty. Evening staff unfriendly. Morning staff good.It was yhe worst Super 8 we have ever stayed at.
The air conditioner was terrible.
Staff was Helpful Bed looked like it had been used already and there were no toiletries
Staff was polite Uncomfortable bed, nasty shower, too small of blankets for bed, smelled funny. Get what you pay for.
Everything was great Not a very good lay out.
It was quiet Nothing
Our room was spacious, had ample counter space for getting ready in the morning and a large fridge/ freezer which was amazing since my husband and I were traveling for the week and needed somewhere to refreeze ice packs and keep food cold. The motel is about a 15 minute walk to downtown Boise or a 20 minute walk (in the other direction) to a park and Boise river. The carpet was pretty dirty, we tried to keep most everything on the counters or the bed and used our own pillows and blankets, though the sheets and everything looked fine. The tub was a little dirty looking too and super slippery!
I was on a budget and only needed a place to rest and cleanup in the morning - nothing fancy. And the Cabana Inn was perfect. With a friendly staff, quiet room, and comfy bed, I was a "happy camper." I would have preferred lodging closer to I-84 on the outskirts of town, but my budget brought me here. Also, construction downtown made finding the Cabana Inn challenging, but I made it.
The hotel looked kind of dicey. But it was alright the staff was nice. I didn't get any bed bugs bites so for two nights it was fine. There was a strong smell of Indian Spices throughout the building. When I arrive there were a lot of transients hanging outside It was scary. The room was large with not enough electrical plugs The rooms are old and dated. there was a packet on top of their little coffee pot. It was opened and there was one coffee package. I was there for two days but there was only one packet given. Very noisy dogs barking and yelling and screaming.
I travel to Boise every few months for work. It's one of the few towns in the Mountain West where I'd been unable to find the "go to" motel. (The options are all of the motels up by the Interstate and the Airport, or the either dirty or overpriced motels closer to downtown that aren't nearly as close The Cabana.)Then a woman I met from Boise told me about the Cabana. She runs a business in Boise and tells her vendors about The Cabana, and for good reason. It's downtown, an easy walk through a clean, renovated, and safe neighborhood to the fun part of Boise. The beds are extremely comfortable, it's clean, they've got great retro furniture, the owners are funny and cool, and you can't beat the price. After I stayed the first night, I went back and stayed the 2nd night. And the money I saved went into some great nearby microbrew! Go Cabana!
The location was good, close to where we needed to be. The guy at the front desk was pleasant and accommodating The carpet had a huge damp spot in the middle of the room. We felt itchy the next morning, and I had several bites on my back. This place needs work!
Clean, comfortable bed, and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Closer from downtown Bad smell Bugs No bathroom fan
