In Belgrade, I have been renting a car at the airport every 2-3 months for the past six years and I have never had such a bad experience as with Avis rentacar. Not a single moment did the lady who works in your office look at me (Marina) and with incomplete or no answers, very unprofessional and impudent. I'm very sorry, but that day I didn't rent a car from Avis, but from another company that charged me 20 euros per day without the obligation to pay additional insurance, which in Avis rent a car should have been 31 euros for insurance and 21 euros for the car or a deposit of 5,000 euros. I understand that there are rules and I always respect them, but what happened to me on March 25th in your company is disappointing, and of course I was not the only one who was disappointed with the services of the Avis company that day... and the hour-long wait that day, terrible Once again, I have rented a car many times, but I have never experienced such disappointment as with Avis rent a car. Terrible!! Second time trying to book with them. First time they lost the reservation they said it wasn’t in the system so we had to search for another company on the spot- this time they completely changed the price when we arrived and they said since we booked on the American website our deposit will be the whole value of the car! So they wanted to put a hold of 10,000€ on our Visa which is ridiculous! And they were very rude about it and didn’t offer us any better option and we had to walk around searching for another company at the airport and we found one with a reasonable deposit! We will NEVER book with Avis again.
They don’t have cars available as they overbooked.
They didn’t have any cars available and would help even with proper reservation. Extremely poorly run operation.
