The place in Beirut - although a bit dated - was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The owner, the receptionist and the rest of the stuff speak great english and could answer all the questions and concerns. There is a small restaurant inside the place where they serve traditional, local breakfast and of course - as it is on the one of the main streets in town - next door, in the heart of downtown, which is only a hundred meters away - You can find any kind of shops, all other amenities, souvenirs, banks, pharmacies, shoppings malls, galleries and other restaurants. The room that was stayed in had an extra value added - we had a small TV plus a heater, which in the wintertime helped us survive the night in then chilly Beirut;) Overall the best place to spend a few relaxing days plus walking leisurely around and making some shopping and sightseeing in many valued museums and places scattered across town. Also You can have the option of going to the beach, which is never far away there and easily accessible from the city by walking, driving, using bus for about 10-20 minutes. One can easily make from here many local, side trips and any kind of shopping You could imagine plus of course try to see the atmospheric and world-famous casino or top end night clubs, not mentioning the best Middle Eastern cuisine. The lady from the reception also won our hearts by letting us park the car during the night right at the gate to the hotel. Marvellous service! We cannot wait to visit again this fantastic place;)! Long live Lebanon forever!!!
For some people it might be a bit of nuisance that there was an ongoing renovation in some of the rooms and parts of the building...
The Wifi is not working from 2 am to 7 am Location is excellent in Hamara, many bars restaurants around The room is fair enough for the value
Location and the price
Simply DON’T BOOK THERE ! The guy at the reception is so rude . Although I booked with breakfast he refused to let me in and said you did not book with breakfast.
A good location near the seafront and reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Room very small and I paid more than I expected. A lot of building work going on and decor quite shabby. Breakfast very basic.
The location is amazing.
No tissues in the rooms, hotel is a bit old, if I want to make a phone call I should go down to pay first.. staff are a bit rude.. overall the hotel and the services needs a lot of improvement.
