Pros: LocationCons: It needs a fresh coat of paint in the room. Change the bathroom door and lock.re arrange the dresser.
Pros: It was close to where I needed to be. I got what I paid for.Cons: Walls are very thin, could hear conversations from other rooms. No maid service (granted they called the 2nd day and asked if we needed service). Towels were cheep and trying to dry yourself off after a shower...not very absorbent.
Pros: Price seemed good until I arrived than it was over priced.Cons: Cleanliness staff and they never answer phone. Non-english speaking.
Pros: Getting out alive.Cons: One of the worst rooms I've stayed in. Dangerous neighborhood, homeless everywhere, loud conversations on the street all night, no ADA non smoking rooms on the 1st floor. I was charged more than quoted. Cigarette smell. Afraid to leave car in parking.
Pros: Cheapest in area, decent room.Cons: The neighborhood could be better.
Don't expect a 5 star hotel, but it is safe.Pros: Good for the priceCons: bad neighborhood
We were in town for the weekend playing a four day festival. Being in the fact that we were playing in Oakland, CA I expected a bit of trouble. The only trouble I had was away from the motel. The lot is secure and the rooms decent. Basically a secure place to crash in Oakland.Pros: The room smelled of cleaner. I saw them air drying the comforters, meaning they actually wash them. Shower looked a bit sketchy, so I avoided it. The family running the motel was very accommodating, and for that I am thankful.Cons: The cleanliness of the bathroom. The fact that you need an armed guard to patrol the motel parking lot.
An excellent value if you don't mind staying near a bunch of derelict buildings. We had no trouble with anyone on the street.Pros: The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, friendly staff, and excellent value, given its proximity to the train. I also appreciated the microwave and fridge. Not fancy, but a great value.Cons: The neighborhood seemed a little rough, though we had no trouble with any passersby. I would have felt intimidated as a lone woman walking late at night, but felt pretty safe with my partner along.
