Pros (+) My daughter and I came down for Mardi Gras and the security was Excellent! The hotel was clean and stylish. Breakfast was in a large well appointed room and different everyday with an excellent selection. The room itself was Huge and the shower was perfection.

Pros (+) The hotel does not look that inviting from the outside but the interior of the hotel is very modern, clean and well maintained. The hotel requires guests to use their room key to get to their rooms for added security. The customer service is excellent! I would stay in a Hampton Inn Hotel again.

Pros (+) Great location for Mardi Gras parade watching and partying on Bourbon St. Just blocks away from Canal St. and St. Charles street car lines. 10-15min walk to the French Quarter. The room and hotel was very clean and staff friendly. The free continental breakfast was good for saving a few bucks but it's not the best.
Cons (-) Sofa sleeper was awful, mattress was very uncomfortable! King bed was nice and big but the mattress was nothing to brag about!

The elevators were poorly maintained and did not run very well. Cons (-) Water pressure/shower only no tub in room Only 2 elevators were working at one point which was awful but eventually repaired. Poor lighting near full length mirror near entry door. No light there to use mirror.
