Breakfast was really like in the Hotel, everything was delicious. Price for 1 night, 84 zlot, breakfast included. A lot of transport links. Easy go to any destination.
Everything was clean, including toilets and showers. The bed was quite comfortable and the private sink with a big mirror was a nice touch. The location was also quite good, the hostel is easily accessible by bus from Lodz-Fabryczna station and there are several bus and tram stops within walking distance. There are also some restaurants and a small shop open from 6 a. m. to 23 p. m. just around the corner, so if you arrive very late and very hungry, you'll be able to get something to eat.
The WiFi sometimes worked just fine, but sometimes it was slow, and sometimes it wouldn't work at all.
The staff were fantastic and seem genuinely interested in making your stay and time in the city comfortable. They took the time to give good advice about when, where and what to see. They also helped me contact the post office when my parcel went missing! Excellent service.
Fruit at breakfast please!
Friendly welcome by your staff. Goood explanations about Lodz and the traffic system. The room (36) is clean and neat. An interior architect must have been involved. Especially showers are fantastically and ergonomically designed! I needed peace and quiet - this place is exactly right if you come for that!
Not possible in the rest of the world: There was nothing I did not like! There is a German song from the 1970s: "Theo, wir fahr´n nach Lodz!" Before that time, young people in Germany hardly even knew that a city named Lodz existed. Now we know!
Convenient parking just in the yard without keys, passwords and so on :) Sink in the room was usefull for us as we had shared bathroom. When we moved 2 single beds together we found out that it was clean under the bed! We didn't arrange included breakfast but were allowed to use dishes and hot water in the dining room, could have free tea or coffee as well. And a girl from reception was so nice to come to our room to show us how the door lock works :)
I was asked to pay more than it was in my booking confirmation. After I showed printed confirmation a girl from reception told me I can pay the amount mentioned in my confirmation (less than it was asked before) and it can be a problem of their system. You'd better pay attention on this point.
