A small swimming pool would be welcome to relax. No
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Didn't have coffee for guests in the morning.
Good service, quiet and spacy room. sparkling bathroom, very nice indeed. nothing.
Clean Booked a premium double room, but was given a twin. They upgraded to First Class, which was a nice room, but not what one might expect from a 4 star first class room these days.
Very nice room, beautiful bathroom, clean, I liked it very much. It was a pity that there was no airco in the room
The room was very comfortable and relaxing, and the staff was great in terms of friendliness and making one feel comfortable and welcome
The hotel provides excellent opportunities for jogging straight from the hotel door. The hotel provides "jogging" routes to guide you through the countryside. The bed-clothing is too small for persons up to 2m tall.
Ease of travel to nearby forest and free bike hire from hotel, ease of travel into leipzig through cycle paths or tram system
Clean room, quiet restaurant / breakfast area, green environment, close to tram stop, biking rental for free Staff seemed stressed and not too happy. Credit card was charged upfront my arrival, where booking.com promised this would not happen.
The hungarian speeking receptionist.
Very cheap, high standard, good food.
I had a single room, which was very clean and with lot of space for my stuff. There was no alarm clock, but that wasn't a big problem as I was woken puntually every morning by the reception.
it is nice area and nice complex with restaurant and shopping center and bus stop not far. only thing to mention is the street noise as it is by the mainroad.
made very welcome. good service from the staff in both the hotel and adjoining restaurant
easy to find it breakfast
Too high price for internet access.
That the Hotelroom was bigger than I expected. That it was situated far from the center
the low price, value for money, accessibility
After spending all day traveling through Belgium/Brussels/Germany, all we wanted was a hot meal, shower, & comfy beds. Despite us arriving relatively late in the evening staff were very welcoming, & it took no time atall to check-in, brief us on breakfast times, enjoy a meal, before we headed to our room.
Cheap and nice room The neighborhood was a little bit suspicious
Finding the hotel was a bit difficult at night as the sign was tucked a way back from the road. Parking was sufficient. Industrial buildings surround the hotel, and there was a funny smell that likely came from the adjacent businesses.
The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The location is not very good. It's in the middle of an industrial estate and some of the businesses start very early. I found the walls a bit thin and if the other guests are noisy then it was difficult to get some sleep. One guest left his Television on all night.
Big and clean room, good breakfast, good position for businness people, good price nothing
The room was very clean and the building is very imposing. The restaurant has limited range.
Well equipped hotel in quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly staff. Situated not close to the city centre.
Location near tram stop
The hotel was clean and the staff were freindly
Tram stop near, clean Rooms, peaceful location
The room is very clean. Our group enjoyed the good-size outdoor seating (up to 15 ppl) and free bowling next to the hotel. Be aware of the noise from the streat (tram & loud parties). So be sure to ask for the garden site. No A/C.
Clean, functional - very helpful staff, on-site restaurant - only 10 mins to the city centre by the 7 tram. Don't expect Westin/Marriot style trimmings, but at 50% of the rate, this is a fine place to stay for a short while.
Nice comfortable hotel with good transport connections to the centre of the city. The staff who worked in the bowling alley (which is also part of the hotel) were unpleasant and rude when we arrived late one evening. We also had to remind them that we had change which was due back to us.
Free parking breakfast
We selected this hotel because we could park the car and take the streetcar into the city. Streetcar stop was conveniently located just across the street. Room was clean and adequate.
Really friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped rooms and great comfort (better tha most 3-star hotels I 've ever been at). Simple but good quality breakfast buffet. Need to pay attention to the check-in times!
Excellent reception by owner who took a very committed interest in making my stay more enjoyable. No
Silence, comphortable, not far from Center of Leipzig, there was a bus from this pension (Hotel) to Houptbanhof (20 min), taxi - about 16-17 Euro (12 min). Apartement for one person - 3 small places (rooms). There is a free parking on territory.
Service was good-natured, kind and generous. Auberge Leipzig is not in the accommodations database, which is used by GPS navigator.
Friendliness of staff, stayed up for late arrival No towels in bathroom
Clean and safe, fell wram in the room.that is all. Far from the city, but also can by line131bus to the city of leipzig.
Very good position, near to the highway, perfect for a one-night stop and go. Nice location, very good breakfast
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Even though the owner did not speak English she called her daughter who spoke perfect English so through her we could explain what we wanted. In the kitchen there were all gadgets necessary for making a simple dinner. The hotel is located not so far from supermarket. It was a bit noisy because the windows of the bedroom were next to a road. By if a window is closed then the noise is not so troubling.
Big parking place, in the room it was warm, good breakfast. The walls is too thin, we could hear everything was going at the next rooms.
Fantastic staff - really friendly and helpful. Everything you need was there, albeit in a budget setting.
clean, frendly, breakfast ok noisy in the morning
It was really OK. TV, Shower(a lot of hot water!), clean. Good beds, etc. It is far form the center, but you can see it in their map, so no problem.
Having internet in my room was a nice thing.
Easy going personnel. Be warned about the location of this hotel. Even though it looked fairly central on a map, it was far off from nearest station and especially tram station. Getting yourself from this hotel to the city center took normally 1+ hour, including a good bit of walking, using the community transports. Add to that no community transports where available at all from 00 to 05 during the night.
Frendly people, good beds.
Super clean, the owners speak several languages (also italian!), very helpful, Tv, very nice bathrooms in-room, wireless, good buffet breakfast. There is a nearby recycling centre which might be a bit noisy in the morning.
It is peaceful. It was very far, if you travel by car it could be great. No free internet, if you do not have your own laptop.
It was great that there was a fridge in the breakfast room with the cheese and meats in it - what a great idea then we knew that everything was kept fresh!! Other hotels should take note
I've really enjoyed my time on Auenwald-pension! Its quite calm and all brand new! I've been there for a week and I loved it, seriously! It's not in the center but you can put yourself right there in minutes, because there's a tram station right in front of the pension, whitch was very usefull for me! In 15 minutes I was able to reach the main station without any problem. The owners are amazing and always worried about your well-being. The kitchen is super equiped with everything you can need. Around it you have super-markets and take-away restaurants. You should stay in! I recomend it! For sure!
