Pros (+) The location of the Onsen was incredible! It's right off of Lake Kawaguchi and it has a perfect view of Mt. Fuji. We got some terrific pictures that friends have said look like postcards. There is a shuttle so don't forget to make the reservation for it- that's the easiest to get there and cpback to the train station.
