Clean tidy room Shower hot but weak flow Car park difficult to get into (due to someone else parking across entrance)
I would best describe this hotel as adequate. The room had all you needed, a bed, a bathroom and a telly, however it was a little on the small side espically for a tall man like myself. So if you like you rooms on the compact side and your on a budget, maybe this is the hotel for you. The room was average and the stay acceptable, so no complaints.
Very impressed. Thouhgt the hotel was good value for mony. High standard of facilities. None
Excellent breakfast, hot and tasty. Staff v efficent and curteous, good size car park, walking distance to town and pubs and restuarants.Quiet hotel even though on a busy road. No biscuits on hospitality tray and early check out time (10.30).
Everything was really good from the check in/welcome,breakfasts and the large car park.Really good base for attractions of Exeter. Nothing to Fault.
The friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was great, both in terms of quality and quantity. The location was billed as downtown. it isn't…it is a good 20-25 minute walk. The public transit seemed infrequent. There are few restaurants nearby.
The staff were welcoming and prepared to provide assistance. We had no reason to complain.
Lovely hotel, not too big or impersonal, staff very efficient, helpful and friendly. Excellent location for accessing city centre, shops, restaurants etc. Overall a very pleasant experience. None.
Staff very friendly and breakfast was excellent
Quiet On one occasion my top bed clothes were just pulled up My sheets were as I left them when getting out, Breakfast very mundane. Not hotel just a b/b
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good. Being in a room above the bar with the windows open it was very noisy until after midnight.
The hotel was situated perfectly for our requirements.
The Silverton Inn is in a charming village 15 minutes drive from Exeter, the last mile is a single track road. It is not ensuite and the breakfast was very basic. The people are quite friendly and it's quiet.
Friendly owners, nice pub down stairs.
The Breakfast Sharing bathroom facilities with four contractors!!
We were able to get into the 'hotel' and room by passcode. Availability for the night. Clean, welcoming, warm. . No sign to know where the 'hotel' was. No cooked breakfast..
Friendly countryside neighbourhood. Good location for trips to South-West England.
We loved Arlington House, it was a haven in what was a very busy holiday. We spent a month in UK, stayed at 12 hotels, and Arlington House was our favorite. Diana was informative with our queries and always available if needed. we especially liked her generousity with her continental breakfasts. they were just wonderful. and we loved our front room with the view. No
Quiet ,had a good tv.Shower was nice and hot Bed too small and duvet too small, bed used to slide across the vinyl/fake wood floor when you got in it.Advertised with wifi but very weak signal in room and would disconnect continually. No decent pub/ restaurant in walking distance.Had tv at strange angle in room and difficult to view.
Room Was nice Only ceral and toast for breakfast, served in plastic bowls, plates knifes, spoons
Clean and comfortable. Newly reburbished room and bathroom. 24 hour snacks! Mainly cereal and toast for breakfast. Scones and cakes also supplied for breakfast. Awkward layout of furniture. Secluded location.
The rooms were nice and spacious and the code-based keysystem was perfect, you could come and you as you pleased. Cooked breakfast would have been nice, but it was ok this way.
The rooms were huge and clean, shower was lovely, breakfast facilities were excellent!!! Would return again!
Very clean Room was cold even with heating on (out side was above freezing) breakfast cardboard dishes for cereal and plastic spoons. Duvet not adequate cold during night. No towels in room.
