8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing, warm and smiling ever ready to help. The place was empty as this is the low season.
Cons: The property like most in Chefchaouen is a long uphill and downhill walk from anywhere. The place can get a little cold in winters.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location in the North of medina. Parking was nearby! Breakfast was great and Rafik was very friendly.
Cons: Cold shower
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is absolutely fantastic, welcoming, and helpful. The view from the roof terrace is beautiful as the hotel is on top of the medina, this means you will have to climb quite a few stairs to reach it: not ideal for trolleys. The rooms are nice, warm and clean and the breakfast good. Thank you Rafik, hopefully see you soon :)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The guys running it were really nice and kind and helpful. Lovely furnishings and comfortable room. Good hot shower. Breakfast on the roof terrace.
Cons: It is in a good location at the top of the medina, but there are a lot of steps up to it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent! The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast is simple and what I expected but eating it out on the terrace over looking the town is amazing! I would definitely stay here again!
Cons: No complaints!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner is very nice. Though we cannot understand each other, he was still very helpful. He tried speaking in English to show us the way to the mosque. And he helped us take our heavy luggages from/to our car which was parked uphill. Neighbours and the children around were friendly. A terrace of nice view. The cat would visit u by jumping from another roof when it knows someone is there! It came to me when we had fruits at night and when we had breakfast.
Cons: Quite a lot of steps in order to reach the guest house, but it is Chefchaouen, you should hv expected it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Have an amazing view of all chefchaouen from the roof. Staff are super friendly. Its 2-3 min walking downstairs to the oldtown
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staying inside the medina, rooftop overlooking the city

Pros: The room is spacious and comfortable. It takes only about 25-30 mons walk to the hill top to see the sunset, and there are many beautiful photo-taking spots nearby. Staff are nice and helpful.

Cons: Bathroom might be a little small for some, but fine for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I actually loved the place! The hotel itself was beautiful with a great location... room big and spacious with a great view from a balcony to the blue city. Clean room and toilet, heater inside the room :) The staff were very helpful and friendly, they spoke good English. Breakfast is served in the garden which is one of the loveliest places in the hotel with a small pond full of fish. I wanted to stay in Chefchaouen forever as soon as I entered Molino garden! :D Thank you for the fabulous service and time during my stay.
Cons: Nothing to say!
6.0 Good
Pros: Personal and location are good.
Cons: Not comfortable, dark and cold room. Private bathroom is outside of room. In the evening we asked about time of breakfast, and got answer : from 8 to 10.30. But at 8 in the morning there was nothing - not breakfast and not any personal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very lovely accommodation and helpful and friendly staff, would totally recommend this place. Also breakfast was very good on a dreamy terrasse (bring a jacket with you in winter!) - hope to stay here one day again

9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very special place. Antonio has taken great care to make an inviting space, preserving the character of an old house and adding features that amp up the charm factor. There is a lovely terrace on the roof and an unusual shower built out of rock. The location is ideal. We appreciated the creative, quirky design and Antonio's warm personality.
Cons: The shared bathroom wasn't ideal but we understand that in a small, old house, it was the only solution. It worked fine for our stay and we would happily recommend Dar Antonio as an affordable, unique place to stay in Chefchaouen.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: It was uncomfortable
Cons: I tried getting internet search help for my return home and both brothers suddenly blocked me on Whatsapp?

Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: First of all, the location is amazing: the villa is situated on a mountain and overlooks the beautiful blue-colored Medina. We also loved the layout of the accomodation – it is a number of small villas on different levels of the mountain, a bit like a fairy castle. Would be great for staying in a big company. Also, the breakfast was one of the most diverse ones that we had in moroccan riads. The pool would also be great during the summer months – a bit too cold for January, of course.
Cons: In January the rooms can get a bit too cold during the night.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! Nice room, nice breakfast and dinner, friendly nad helpful staff. Very cool garden with pool and well located with a parking next to the hotel and 5 mins walking to the center!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the staff and the breakfast were excellent.
Cons: My room was at the front and noise from the street. People late at night, then the garbage collector kept me up. I would request a room at the back,
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Pool needed a good clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Riad. Super location. Super roof top terrace. Clean. Pool reserved to self for 1 hr. Well kept.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In heart of medina; relatively central; service excellent.
Cons: Nothing.
7.1 Good
Pros: The best thing about this place is the breakfast. It’s the only place we have stayed that provided body cream for which I was grateful. This is our 8th place to stay in Morocco so our perspective is after a few experiences.
Cons: There was so much noise both from inside and then also outside the Ryad. It seems a design fault that it has a central courtyard where all sound gets amplified internally. Then the motorbikes, people and meuzen externally ensure there are few quiet hours to sleep. We tried to contact them in advance for directions as we are self driving and got no answers - be warned that we spent 1 hour going around in Chefchaouen before eventually getting them on the phone and being told to head to the Hotel Parador.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room is fab
Cons: The breakfast was great but the waitress did not know how to explain what the sweets were. I was curious to know what I was eating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a wonderful welcome to Morocco for our family. Chef happen is magical, and Lina Ryad is placed at the top of the Medina, with extraordinary views from the rooftops. Food is excellent (especially the ample breakfast and fish pastilla), staff is friendly and helpful, and the beds are excellent.
Cons: For the spa services, the hammam was good, but the facial was underwhelming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, comfortable beds, nice staff. I had the hammam, and the person doing it was wonderful!
Cons: All good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything! Breakfast, shower, location, rooftop, everything was more than enough for the price paid. Absolutely recommend this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: As a 1 star hotel located in the middle area of blue, the Koutoubia is so enjoyable. Breakfast at the roof with Mountain view was very good.
7.0 Good
Pros: We were getting into town late so the staff was accommodating to allow for a late checkin. The location was excellent since the taxi drops you off close by and the walk was very short compared to other hotels/riads that might be deep inside the blue town. The breakfast was great!
Cons: The room was very small and insulation was poor so you felt the breeze but luckily the heat was working. One annoyance was all the flies that were in our room since the staff leaves the windows to air out before guests arrive. We spent a good half an hour trying to kill 10+ flies since they would buzz around you at night while you’re sleeping. Definitely not a place we’d recommend for a romantic getaway but a place to stay given our late night arrival.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location right on the edge of Chauen Médina. You can never be too far anywhere you go. Staff is very helpful, pointing you to the right direction and giving tips. Rooms are little rustic, but there’s everything you need. We had great view from our room balcony (#10) and even better view from the roof patio. Delicious breakfasts were great start of the each day. Wifi and internet speed is better than in many international hotel chains all over Europe.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The person in reception go into my bags when i left it after the check out when i went to have lunch. Im intelligent enough not to leave valuable thing but clothes.. so he didnt take anything from me.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location quite closed to the popular instagram photo location and the waterfall
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Central convenient location, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Even though the street looks small and quiet, there were pretty loud noises from the street from some locals hanging out late.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The terrace was amazing. Comfortable with great view. Breakfast was delicious and had diversity everyday.
Cons: The rooms were kind of small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The position is amazing, i like so much the property, and the staff is friendly

1.0 Poor
Pros: There wasn’t anything to like. There is nothing positive to say.
Cons: Lack of communication on part of host. Never helpful. Unsanitary conditions. Completely uncomfortable conditions: the bed was cardboard with tattered sheets. The rooms were very small without storage and filthy. One of the two electric sockets was sparking and unsafe. The bathroom was so disgusting it’s difficult to describe (black mold, sewage smell, flooding, filthy) Not to mention it was noisy, friends of owners being loud, chain smoking, construction on the hotel building started early in the morning. It’s inconceivable that any amount of money should be charge to stay in a complete dump. Take them off your listing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and huge breakfast
Cons: Rooms a little bit humid
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Sweet place, great breakfast, recommended by a friend. Loved it.
Cons: A bit noisy on the ground floor because it’s so small, but not a big deal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This to me is by the best place in to stay chouen! The wonderful family, the room with our fire was perfect. We can’t wait to return!
Cons: Leaving!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fantastic! Great location, Omar is one of the best host ever seen. Breakfast was tasty and rich of local food... we really couldn’t ask more!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most gorgeous Riad right in the Médina, like nowhere I’ve stayed before. It was a wonderful surprise when we stepped into our quaint room. Bilal was a great host who had the fire roaring in our room by the time we returned in the evening. We had a delicious home-made breakfast which was so appreciated. A perfect stay, albeit brief.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location is really good.
Cons: Unfortunately, there was no hot water in our room. We were offered to shower in different one. I don’t understand why they put us in the room that has issues when other rooms were empty. We slept in various riads and dars, but this one was not extra clean. Some sweeping wouldn’t hurt.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was great and lovely staff

6.7 Good
Pros: Good location, just few minutes from the main square, excellent breakfast, one of the best we had in Morocco (and we have been in many places).
Cons: We were 3 people in the room. Very tiny room, only one person can move at a time. No place in bath to place cosmetic bags (only on the floor). no noice isolation, you will hear all doors of the neighbors, hairdryer behind the wall, voices in the corridor and the morning pray (but this you hear in all cities if you stay in the old part).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: - Good staff - Fair breakfast - Good location
Cons: - Shower is not available when I’m stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, just few minutes walk to medina. Spacious and clean room with comfortable bed and efficient heater (very much appreciated during our stay in December). Overall, the accomodation meets western standards, in my opinion.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fatima was the best!! So accommodating and extra helpful with our stay! ♡
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is within walking distance from the old town and it has available parking on the street for 20 dirhams a day. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and most of all heated! The breakfast is great and it is served on the top floor that comes with a spectacular view. The staff was polite and friendly.
Cons: We arrived at the hotel at 2PM, as soon as the check-in was available, and there was no one at the front desk. Getting in touch with someone other than the woman doing the housekeeping was impossible. In their defense, we did not provide an arrival time with the reservation, however the front desk should've been working 24/24. After a stroll around the town, we checked in and all went smoothly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Heat in rooms, clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, Delicious breakfast on rooftop terrace.
Cons: Toilet in apartment didn’t always flush properly, apartment kitchen dishes/utensils lacking, minimal street parking.

Cons: The heater didn’t work when we arrived but was fixed later.

Pros: In a great area, the room was nice with shared terrave next to it.
Cons: The staff was very unwelcoming, no one ever greeted us. The lady at the reception - I have never met anyone more rude and with such poor customer service attitude. She pretended to not know how to speak english the first night so my husband couldn’t understand anything. Instead of telling us that they have no parking at the hotel, but that the parking next to them is safe and you are aupposed to pay the guys her response was ”not my problem” Also when I told her that the address on their bookingcaite didn’t give me any matches on my phones map response was again ”not my problem”. What the hell? The breakfast was poor, the worst we had on our vacation even tho this was one of the most expensive places we stayed. Also look st the picture of the toiletries we had in our room... POOR! With 80€ per night I’d expect a bit more.... will definately never come here again.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room in Dar Hanan into which we were moved was very nice, it was rather large, on the top floor, with a direct access to the lovely rooftop terrace. The breakfast was served downstairs in the entrance are...it was good, but the area was rather dark, it would have been nicer on the roof top terrace, it was still warm enough and other hotels/riads did server the bfast on the terrace....
Cons: Apparently the owner has two Dars, Dar Gabriel was booked solid, so when we arrived in the evening he walked a few minutes with us to a different house. In the house we got the nicest room, the other guests there had booked directly in Dar Hanan. Our stay was fine...but in general I'm not amused if I don't stay in the hotel that I have chosen during an intensive research.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable. Great location
7.1 Good
Pros: Clean and quiet. Lovely breakfast in the main hotel.Hot shower.
Cons: We were located in an annex 5 mins walk away. There was no where to sit in the room apart from the beds. It was over twice the price of the room we moved on to for our second night in another hotel. No log fire in dining room as promised in description.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location! We were able to park our car and walk to the hotel. It was a two minute walk only. The staff were amazing and very helpful. We took our 5 month old son and they loved having him there. Breakfasts were good- fresh orange juice, good coffee/tea and a selection of breads. The location was a dream!
Cons: I wish they had a little gym. My husband and I like to stay active. A pool would have been lovely too but it is a riad after all and space is scarce.

7.0 Good
Pros: Great location, in the heart of Medina. Google maps easily found the spot and the stickers on the walls with directions pointing to the hostel helped as well. Authentic blue interior of the hostel is very calming. Amazing reception, hardworking cleaning ladies. Two heavy blankets.
Cons: Shower on my floor was dreadful but thankfully the one upstairs was much more sufficient. Also, there was a very weird fishy smell in my room but I guess it might have been caused by one of the guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The room was reasonably priced and the staff provided good recommendations for visiting the city. Would definitely stay here again in the future!
Cons: I have no complaints!
7.9 Good
Pros: I quite enjoyed the laid back atmosphere & was quite impressed by the awesome Terrance!
Cons: My least favourite thing about this property was how terrible the washrooms were. I didn’t shower once the entire time I was there.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice price
Cons: Second floor didn’t have hot water in barhroom
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Cheap and good location
Cons: 2nd floor didn’t have hot water Sometimes bathroom is not too clean
7.1 Good
Pros: - the place is perfect, in the middle of the Medina. - the staff were nivel
Cons: - it’s not very clean - a little noisy at night - the kitchen is small, dirty and it doesn ‘t have tools enough to cook
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, the hostel itself is clean. And no extra fee if paired by credit card, plus point. Hot shower. Staff are helpful and relaxed
Cons: Inside the room the WiFi can be weak. The toilet is not always so clean and the faucet doesn’t work correct. Otherwise still nice place for stay over.

7.9 Good
Pros: The view was phenomenal. The room size was great and it was fairly clean. Location was perfect, right at the start of the Médina.
Cons: Over great place minutes the shower. We did have to walk up 3 flights of stairs with heavy luggage but I think that was more our fault to expect there to be an elevator
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great and Mohammed the owner happily came to meet us and guide us in the first time which we highly recommend. Tons of restaurants, etc. close by. Very traditional Dar with beautiful and eclectic decor. Loved the roof top. Great breakfast, was even able to get an early breakfast before travelling. Very clean, was able to get some laundry done through the Dar at a reasonable price. Mohammed's wife is a certified Guide and gave us a great tour of Fes.
Cons: Nothing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: the welcome that I received from those who manage the place
Cons: I made a mistake, and did not bring with me cash money to pay the hotel as the machine with the card did not work. It was mentioned in the reservation, the need to pay cash
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great traditional stay
Cons: No wifi 2 out of our 3 nights
7.9 Good
Pros: Good value for the price. Staff was nice and friendly, gave us a free upgrade, without us asking for it, just because the room upstairs was nicer. The decoration of the place is very nice and whimsical. The location is very good, close to everything (walking distance), and very easy to find. They let us keep our luggage in an empty closed room, on the last day of our stay, while we went for a stroll.
Cons: Although it wasn’t dirty, they didn’t empty the bathroom rubbish bin, from the last customers. The bathroom had this sewery smell, but it didn’t pass on to the room. The toilet had the seat broken and became a little bit uncomfortable when using it and the shower head had a very gross look, maybe it should be changed. Also, I don’t know if this is a common thing in Morocco, but it’s the second place where they don’t clean the room/make the beds, while we are staying there, I find that a little bit strange.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Sitting area in our room and also on the roof Very friendly staff. Shower lovely and hot
Cons: The toilet smelt a bit but I think that is an issue across the medina. We could shut the bathroom door so it wasn’t a big problem.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere, decoration, room size
Cons: Bathroom
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: It's cheap
Cons: It's unclean. The internet doesn't work during the day. There's a lot of bugs. The shower was broken
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: No hot water , freezing cold room . Avoid room number one if you like to sleep at night . Terrible experience .

Pros: Best food we had in Morocco!
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was tranquil and the place itself was full of character. The staff where lovely
Cons: The swimming pool needs attention! It was dirty, full of living creatures and water looked murky - like a green cast on it. We where disappointed as we where unable to swim in it?! There are also no sun loungers either!

Pros: Excellent staff love the place.
Cons: All was excellent.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The charm, location, food and friendliness of staff

Pros: Good pool, the Food is good.
Cons: The Internet didn‘t work for the whole time- we hadn‘t been informed at our arrival and they charged the whole Price.
7.0 Good
Pros: The food and breakfast are delicious.
Cons: We had quite a bad first impression.. When paying at the check-in we got told Euros were being traded for the same amount as dirhams in this hotel!? Then the suite we booked wasn't available, and we had to switch to a smaller room (with a fireplace which was actually nice) unfortunately the bathroom smelled like sewage even after their attempt at unclogging it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The environment around the property is very comfortable. You can go hiking outside.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing, warm and smiling ever ready to help. The place was empty as this is the low season.
