Yes, but the process is unnecessarily deceptive. The pricing seems favorable but than they hit you with exhorbidant insurance costs that exceed the actual rental cost. These costs are hidden until your at the counter. Lots of other add-on costs. VERY unpleasant process. I expected more from HERTZ.Cons:

While in Europe, the gps provided with the car didn't use the quickest routes to different destinations. I tried numerous ways to use it but the directions were always the long route. I ended up using an offline map application on my phone for the correct and quickest route. This is disappointing since I paid a total of $110 for the gps that was inaccurate.Sixt

Hi, I went to Madrid Airport to pick up my car with the price of 140 EUR and an insurance that I already paid for 55$. But when I went to the agent desk, he told me that the insurance is fake and that I have to pay almost 450 EUR for both car rent and insurance which was completely outrageous. In the end, I had to cancel my booking. Please fix this or terminate your contract with companies like Thrifty which will only bring a bad name to your reputation.6.0 Okay

When I bought this offer at Kayak it was after the credit card purchase where a special message appears saying extra fees may apply. Well you should better say your price will get increase over 500% due to extra fees. I ask for small economy car that's it. First catch, I was charge with full tank service. I thought ok it's nice. But when I returned the car they charge me for another managing fee. I paid over 120 full tank and when I returned the car with tank in 6/8 they refund only 30 euros. Most expensive gass ever! Then I paid for full insurance and because the car.was fully covered they.just don't care.about the car and gave me a car with bumps everywhere. Finally they took 300 euros from my credit card as deposit. In summary they own me 350 euros that I haven't received yet one week after service.Ace

Prices are fake and rules for being late not visible anywhere. I ended up paying 4 times the original price because I got there 2 hours late and they claimed my reservation expired. No email related to the reservation mentioned anything about that. I was expecting some extra charges for the usual insurance things that these companies make you pay, but I paid more than that. I purchased insurance when I booked. When I got there they told me if I didn't purchase an additional 67 euro of insurance id need to leave a1400euro liability deposit as well as 144euro deposit for fuel which would be locked out of my account for 30 days. I don't have that kind of money and didn't want to create overdraft fees, and wasn't willing to spend the extra 67 as I was renting the car for less then a day. Long story short I realized it was better to cut my losses with the 30something euros I'd already spent and just walk away. I'd never be willing to let over 1500euro potentially provide liability for other ace customers for over a month for a days rental.2.0 Poor

I HAVE NOT FINALLY RENTED MY CAR DESPITE THE CHARGE THE FULL AMOUNT. WHEN I SHOWED UP ON THE COUNTER (2 HOURS BEFORE IN ORDER TO DO THE PAPERWORK AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS FINE), THEY WANTED ME TO LEAVE 1.1000 EUROS AS DEPOSIT FOR 1 DAY RENTAL, OR PAY 70 EUROS FOR AN INSURANCE THAT I DID NOT WANT TO. AS A RESULT I DECIDED NOT TO RENT THE CAR AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A REIUMBURSEMENT OF THE RENTAL THAT I JUST RESERVED FEW HOURS AGO THEY TOLD THEIR POLICY IS NOT TO REFUND ANYTHING IF YOU CANCEL THE RESERVATION WITHIN 24 HOURS PRIOR OF YOUR RENTAL... VERY DISSAPOINTED AND WONT RECOMMEND THIS CAR RENTAL TO ANYONE. VERY BAD.
