Good hotel for a good price
We were very comfortable and had a great stay. The price is very good considering the amenities that come with it.
The staff knocking on the door during a nap to obtain our dishes from breakfast (that we were still nibbling on at 11am). It was not a deal breaker and probably something we should have realized would happen.
Location is good, and the view is nice. That’s it.
We got robbed, the room was really noisy and had mold in the bathroom. It wasn’t clean, the staff wasn’t helpful at all. Parkings a disaster. Not typical of the Omni brand. It’s definitely not worth your time or money. stay anywhere else.
Very convient to convention center
Easily accessible from airport by MARTA- came in during snow storm and had no trouble getting there by train
Influx of Hurricane Irma refugees
I can definitely appreciate the hotel opening it's doors to people displaced from the hurricane in Florida. Staff seemed to try their best with handling off situations.
The worst part of our stay, of several bad occurrences, would be the valet parking. It was pure chaos. In one situation, we waited 45 minutes after calling 10 minutes ahead. We missed our reservation because of it. Front desk apologized but for the high cost of valet parking offered no discount or refund for the inconvenience of their staff.
Staff and location
Price and rooms need to be updated. Our room smelled like old carpet.
Excellent location for Convention
Excellent location, and services.
The rooms seem very dated (south tower). Wallpaper peeling, dark look. Bar area is nice, but staff seemed to not want to be there and it showed in the service. Sat at the bar and had an unpleasant smell.
Expensive Valet only
It started well
My reservation was ready.
Elevator was not working most of the time, there was a tear on the carpet by the balcony, I was adviced to use the stairs after waiting for several minutes on the only working elevator. Walked to the 14th floor and my card didn't work. I called front desk right away for a replacement card. They explained that they will send someone up, 30min later, nothing, I went downstairs and the staff was short and lazy. I politely asked for a replacement card and asked if there is any kind of compensation for all the inconveniences that happened. Front desk said there is nothing they can do. It is very unlikely I'll get a room there again.
Not clear about pet weight limit
We didn't know the limit until we had already booked and gotten the itinerary. Very inconvenient and we had to pay for 2 hotel rooms because we could not cancel.
The staff we spoke to on the phone were unpleasant. We were calling to let them know we were going to be arriving late and it turned out we couldn't stay there at all. It would have been nice to know the fine print about the pet friendly hotel before I booked and paid.
Very nice hotel!
Close enough we were able to walk to the venue and several choices of restaurants nearby.
$35 added for required valet parking with almost an hour wait for our car to be retrieved.
Location is great. Easy walk to Phillips Arena and other attractions in the area. Valet parking attendants were wonderful!!
Booked online thru hotels.com. Reserved a deluxe double room, with 2 double beds. Got the two beds, in a tiny single room with moldy bathroom in which the tub barely drains while showering, for $358.00. Extra charge for internet!! Called front desk after arrival. Told me they could not do anything about it as I had booked through a third party. Lesson learned.....go direct!
