clean, relaxing, helpful staff, good location, good food, great place to stay and escape the noise and bustle of the city swimming pool a bit cold but still enjoyed the swim
Felt like an old Soviet style hotel, very much left over from the older "communist" era of China. Rooms were very unattractive and sort of "oppressive" feeling. After two days we changed hotels and we're much relieved. We would never go back.
I liked the staff from the hotel, they are very friendly and willing to awnser your questions about the place.
Location. Familiarity. I am a repeat guest of many years. A friendlier concierge service. Had difficulty getting help to re-confirm my air-ticket.
Close to Yuyuan Gardens The Booking.com / Google position ffor the hotel was incorrect (the address is corrrect), which lead the taxa astray. Please note that the position is _East_ FuXing Rd!
The location of the hotel is fantastic - adjacent to Green Lake. The Club Lounge staff were attentive and helpful with adequate English ability. The quality of the breakfast foods was average at best. However, this is to be expected in China in all but the very best 5-star hotels. I would consider this hotel to be of 4-star standard.
Good central location. Friendly staffs. The hotel is over-rated in the website. It's a 5* hotel in Chinese standard. The lobby is 4*, the guest room is 3* and the bathroom is 2*. Except for the location, not exactly a good value hotel in Kunming.
The staff are very courteous and the atmosphere and ambient was good. The hotel manager was particularly friendly and hospitable. none
Location and breakfast good Certainly not five star. Four at a push. Sauna and hot tub not working. Foul smelling and dirty changing rooms. Spa only open 10 to 3! Bar staff inattentive and rude. Mould in bathroom. Nothing critical but a disappointment when you expect something special.
The location of the hotel was great, close to the Green Lake and and in a tree lined neighborhood , just a few minutes by taxi to downtown. The front desk staff spoke English and helped arrange our sightseeing trips. We had to ask for some basic toileteries in the bathroom. The room service\ restaurant menu items were absurdly expensive. So we just walked out to the nearby restaurants and bought dinner at a fraction of the price. For a expensive hotel, breakfast was pretty basic .
Very clean and enjoyable. Conference area has smoking areas inside(2nd floor). Lobby and the room I stayed in was non-smoking.
Excellent location, near Green Lake (cuihe) Park, where people so tai chi in the morning and dance at night. Staff very helpful in every respect Hotel has very nice pool. In-room tea not free. Lobby coffee/tea overpriced. More of a large business hotel
