The one person who seemed helpful was the woman at the Moscow airport who allowed us to use the phone to contact our hotel in Barcelona to let them know we would be arriving extremely late."

It was really weird but I understand that as it is a low budget flight provider. The thing that made me really upset was that we all (passengers) left the terminal to get to the plane and we had to wait outside till we could start entering the plane. I really don’t understand why someone made us to wait outside while it’s freezing cold when the doors are not open or plane is not ready. That was unreasonable and ruined my trip."

Pros: "I called flight network and was put on hold for about five minutes, simply to get an answer to the question of the baggage allowance - I didn’t see it anywhere when booking the wiz air ticket. They told me that I was slowed one checked baggage and one cabin baggage that would be charged about €40 if it was over 30 kilos (which it was not). At the airport wizz air said that I had chosen online booking (which I had not) and therefore I had to pay a €30 fee. Also they said I had no checked baggage allowance and was charged an additional €150 !!!!"

Cons: "I didn't check in, in advance as when logging on to the airline I needed a code. I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."

Long long queues, then continued to queue before boarding in the waiting/holding room. No toilets once you enter the corridor to go to gate. Unsatisfactory management. Water from air conditioner dripping on me on board from take off. Not an immediate suggestion to move, but agreement to do so on my suggestion and then gentle insistence. Thankfully there was a seat for me! It seemed to be a problem staff were aware of which is concerning that Wizz did not block that seat."

After checking in we scanned our passports using the machines and then we were in what I thought was the boarding area so we relaxed and waited by the screens in a coffee shop. But when our flight gate was announced there was another passport control to get into those gates with a big line which threatened to delay our boarding. There wasn't enough room for everyone to put their bags in the overhead locker which meant there were even more delays and it felt a bit rushed to get off. When we arrived I was queuing down the stairs to get to the queue for passport control which took about 45-60 minutes to get through with no toilets. I was also charged 40 euros per person for not checking in and printing the boarding pass which is my fault, but the charges do seem excessive."

More than the cost of the one way flight! Nobody could help at the airport despite me explaining in detail that I had tried multiple times to book online to save $. Seats were smallest I've ever been in, lines were extremely confusing and unorganized in boarding, and the air conditioning wasn't working. Will never fly wizz air again"

I found overall experience, frustrating, unprofessional, delays, luggage weight limitation, unnecessary visa requirement, etc."

Cons: "I took 4 flights with this airline. Each was at least an hour late in take offs and landings. Very unfriendly staff whether at the check-in or flight attendants. Incredibly uncomfortable seats (compared with same level seats with other airlines). They reminded me with outdoor vegetable and fruit markets where farmers and gypsies yell to sell their products; they charge for everything, offering nothing on a 4 hrs flight, not even water. Not sure if it is a language barrier, but they are very rude and impolite in English. I really wish there was a single good thing to say. Even the pilots are the worst i've seen. Very rough landing every single time"

Cons: "We had only problems with the delayed luggages. The boarding was not on time but I don't think it's a big deal because we arrived almost as scheduled. No entertainment at all and comfort was not a priority but it's okay since it's a budget airline after all. But it would be better if they consider comfort of flyers even if it is a budget flight because flying is a serious thing and can cuase a lot of anxieties to begin with."

People were not helped to stow carry ons and many should have been requested to check large carryon bags. They were out of beer even though beverages had just been loaded.
