Hostel Chic was a a great place to stay in Zagreb, you can't beat the location! It's only a 10 minute walk from Trg Ban Jelačić (the main square) and 15 minutes from the bus station. It's also surrounded by bus and tram stops. The 6 bed room was really comfortable, and I appreciated how big the storage lockers are. Cute little kitchen/dining/hang out area downstairs. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to see a lot of Zagreb in a little time.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, also the curtains made the room quite dark. I especially liked the bathroom layout - there are two separate showers and one toilet, so you don't block the bathroom for everyone else while showering.

The room could habe been a bit cleaner - there was a bottle cap under my bed. The lockers seemed big enough for a suitcase but were out of metal, so opening and closing was quite loud - could be annoying, when you stay with more persons.

Super nice and fast communication, they organized everything for me so that I was able to entered the Hostel even though the reception was not open anymore (I arrived by night as my flight was delayed). They even have a proper coffee maschine in this Hoste! And super close to center. I can highly recommand to stay here.

This is a centrally-located hostel only a few minutes north of the main train station in Zagreb. There's a supermarket usually open late near the station. The main square is only about 10 minutes away on foot. There's a comforting purple and green color scheme throughout the hostel. The hostel is pleasant enough that this is actually the third time I've stayed here. The first time was three years ago, while it was still pretty new, and impressively, it has remained about as nice. The bedrooms are quite spacious. A personal light and power outlet is next to each bed, as well as a rather large locker. Linen is free and towels are too upon request. There's a kitchen with a cooking surface, a microwave, a water boiler, and a refrigerator. There's also a nice common area with plenty of tables and chairs as well as a couch. The whole place is kept quite clean. The guy who runs the hostel has a lot of experience in the industry, and knows how to treat guests well. The other staff members are also friendly and were happy to answer any questions I had. In addition, the hostel tends to attract people that are not the partying type, but the type that you can have hours-long meaningful conversations with.

There's only one shower and one toilet in the men's bathroom. I've had to wait before, but only briefly. I don't know if this is the case for the women's bathroom. Also, the shared balcony can be accessed via the women's bathroom, but not the men's one.
