The room was huge, we booked last minute as we were due to go to Bordeaux for my 40th, however decided not to travel due to COVID-19. Value for money was excellent and we got a free drinks voucher for my birthday! Service was excellent.
The room was very hot and considering circumstances we were not sure that they still should have been serving a buffet style breakfast.

We we’re upgraded to a suite as they were quite, thought that was great. The room was amazing with great views. Breakfast was good, the granola was delicious
Only had soya milk as a dairy free option, soya isnlinked to dairy and for some of us we also can’t drink that. Having a better option for diet ties would be good. My allergy isn’t serious though so not to bad for me

The staff were excellent and friendly, the hotel is in a lovely setting close to the City and the river, the building its self is magnificent.
The room was noisy from the railway station you would be woken by trains and the voice over the tannoy, at 6 am, you had to have the window open room was rather warm ( no airconditioning as advertised ) the tv did not work properly even though we asked for it to be fixed, we were not offered another room even though the hotel was almost empty, the best offer was to watch the tv in the room opposite, then return to our own room
