Grand. Our 6th floor (away from elevator) room very quiet. Concierge excellent. Small bathroom. Toilet-sink-shower w/o space between. Avg sized rooms. Fitness center a bit below avg (equipment amount & range) for hotel size/status. Expensive.
The location Way overpriced compared to service and how old and outdated the rooms are. The bathtub was peeling, the hot water would go away in the sink, you had to constantly regulate it. They don't tell you ahead of time the cost of parking, which was almost $50.00 a day, otherwise I would have looked for an alternative, they just hit you with a bill dropped in front of your room door on the last day of your stay so you don't yell at them at checkout.
The location was convenient, staff was welcoming and helpful, breakfast on site for $18 for two, 20% off dinner in Irish pub on site, computer and printer in lobby for orintg our boarding passes, room was quiet at back, jacuzzi tub. Elevator broken so half off, great value at $67 plus tax. Walk up, but we didn't mind. Front rooms on Granville may be a bit noisier, not sure. We asked for at the back.
Convenient location for concert goers Rooms are extremely small and cramped, bed was lumpy. If you get a room facing Granville, expect really loud noises all night long as it's the party district. Ear plugs didn't help. Didn't know this when we booked.
Great location, polite staff, very comfortable bed, The bathroom a little bit too small .
The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning got the room nice and cold. The room was outdated and not as advertised on the website.
Staff were really helpful and friendly it's an older hotel but the suites were reasonably priced and clean The location was amazing and I could walk to s the great shopping on tobdon and yaletown as well as the aqua bus to go to Granville idkxnd Not much! The room service was good, food tasty.
large rooms, lots of space, great location in heart of Vancouver city
Everything was near and the people was very.
The pool, hot tub and fitness area were fantastic. View from the room and location were also great. Checked into a dirty room, with stains and hair in the sheets. Had to pay for Wifi, for $400 a night
friendly staff bathroom light switch out in the hall far from bathroom. bathroom door will not stay open. noisey. room half empty. plastic floors.
Perfectly located next to shops, bars and restaurants. Right across from a skytrain station so very easy to get around. Cute modern decor.
the welcome, the very friendly, helpful staff, the ambiance in the bar, the great bathroom, the equipments in the room, (CD player with CDs, I pod player....) all these things makes a stay so much easier, as we can feel a little "at home"! no slippers in the room, a little dusty, specially on the dark wood furnitures,
Location was good and staff was most helpful for our one night stay
Ramada in Seattle much better value and comfort.
Big rooms with kitchenette. Generous included breakfast plus friendly staff.
Every thing at Cascadia was pleasant, it located a few easy blocks from the main shopping areas with bus stops close by. Other guests and staff were friendly, there was a nice feeling when in the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, with great little kitchen, for when travelling with family who like big meals 3 times a day. The included breakfast with tariff was a great way to start the day. The breakfast times could state that the finishing time is not only for entry but when the kitchen closes.
big bathrooms comfortable beds I found the hallways a little confusing
Because the rooms are close to bar, It is very noisy, The exit signs are very confusing, leading you to the emergency exit outside of the building, no clear sign to go to elevator.
We were very close to the Canada line for transport from YVR. Rogers Arena a close walk. This location exceeded our expectations. The elevators could use a good cleaning.
swimming pool slightly heated, good jets in the warm spa; restaurants convenient; wake-up call & exit taxi timely tiny room w thin walls so you could hear people in next room, hall, elevator; some staff minimally trained; no newspapers; office center computers expensive; ice machine didn't work on our floor or 3 floors lower, had to go 4 floors for ice; stairways and hallways to gym & pool a multistory maze;
Love the history of the hotel, great staff and a great location. It may be an old hotel with some cool history, but it could still do with some cleaner finishes like some new carpet and a better paint job.
It it centrally located to the Granville strip so it's close for all the nightlife The elevator was broken, the walls are paper thin you can hear everything and because the building is old the floor creaks BADLY! The people above us kept us up all night and day walking around right above our bed. Their floor/our ceiling was a night mare! I had to call the front desk twice to complain and try to get them to stop pacing yet nothing happened. It's a cute neiche hotel but I wouldn't go back.
