The suite was renovated in February 2014 (new floor throughout, bathroom and windows). Also, the TV is 40' flat screen one and you can lounge on the new sofa and watch Netflix. A comfortable desk chair is available for you if you plan to work or spend time in front of a computer. When the weather is nice you are welcome to enjoy the serenity of the patio (please see pictures) and use the gas barbecue. ************************************************************ You will feel at home at this centrally located, quiet and privately accessible fully furnished suite. This single bedroom suite is ground level and is full height (taller guests will appreciate it is not a basement). It includes a heated full bathroom, well equipped kitchen, dining area and a living space with working desk/chair, sofa and flat screen TV with cable service. The roomy bedroom has a queen size bed (med-hard mattress) as well as plenty of closet space for your clothing. Both bedroom and living room have climate control thermostats. For parties of three guests we can provide an additional mattress to be placed in the living room. This suite is used frequently by family and friends, therefore it is complete with the appliances, cooking utensils, various supplies (coffee, tea, sugar, spices), fabrics etc. We are also happy to have regular visitors from both Canada and abroad who use this when visiting family. It is highly popular among visiting parents and grandparents! ■ Extra amenities: laundry washer/dryer for moderate use, wired/wireless internet, tv/cable tv, sheets, towels, iron & ironing board and hair dryer. ■ Location: very central, quiet and safe neighbourhood. Within minutes of walking out the door you can be shopping on trendy main street, sipping coffee or feasting on some of the best sushi and dim sum this city has to offer. We'll gladly provide you with recommendations. ■ Transportation: it's a short drive downtown or walk half a block to a bus that passes every few minutes and get to downtown quickly and easily. A bus line to UBC is only a few blocks away. Getting from YVR airport is an affordable 20min. taxi ride ($28 standard fare) and public transportation is also possible. ■ Parking: ample unrestricted street parking is available on the street.
