Pros: Great location. Everything within 10 minutes walking radius. Restaurants (Inc. Vegan, tapas, pizzas...), all monuments and museums.

Cons: Tiny shower makes difficult to wash your feet. Great for quick morning showers, though.

Pros: The location was excellent! The hotel has been beautifully restored by the owners and the decor was lovely.

Cons: We drove from Madrid and finding the property was really difficult. There was no kettle in the room but the owner told us we could use the coffee machine in the breakfast area. We did this twice and was then scolded by a member of staff. When I was next going out I was again scolded by another staff member at reception. I felt very uncomfortable after this. Breakfast was basic and I feel for what was on offer (no teabags for 3 days) that the cost should be included in the room price. My husband’s complaint was he had to wake up the night receptionist to unlock the front door so that he could go for a run each morning. This added to the feeling that you were an unwanted guest in someone’s home.

Pros: Amazing room with unexpected private courtyard! The building is so cool and in a fantastic location.

Pros: Fantastic location, helpful staff, great views from terraces - be sure to see the cathedral lit up at night.

Cons: Only wish that we'd stayed more than one night.

Pros: Great location. Next door to Cathedral in centre of old town so easy walk to everywhere.

Cons: Tiny shower. Distance between car park and hotel. Said to be 4minute walk. With our pull along and carry on case up and down steep inclines it took a lot longer.

Pros: Specilly the very nice couple who is halving the hotel.

Pros: This is a beautiful, historic property. The breakfast was beyond expectations.

Pros: Great location right next to the cathedral so we were always able to find our way back through the labyrinth of streets by looking for the cathedral steeple. Staff was great, particularly Nacho who made sure all was good and gave great recommendations for restaurants and tour. Really nice rooftop view of Toledo from hotel. Bonus was the nice breakfast included eggs, Jamon, fruits, sweet breads, yogurt, cereal, etc.

Pros: The breakfast was outstanding and the whole place feels like pulled out from a fairytale.

Pros: It’s a beautiful building located very well, very cosy and well secured. The roof terrace is peaceful with great views. Staff are welcoming.

Pros: My wife and I stayed two nights. Great location immediately adjacent to the cathedral. Accommodation was where the cardinals resided in the past. Very old styled rooms which are wonderfully atmospheric with enough of the mod cons to be comfortable. Open the window and you are greeted with a nice view up the cobbled street. No lift so you will need to carry your bags up to your room. Nice breakfasts downstairs. Nice helpful staff. Getting to the accommodation with your car is very tricky but possible. Very narrow streets. After arriving and dropping bags and checking in, parking back down another narrow street to parking station. Town very interesting to walk around but quite up and down which you expect in hill top towns. Spectacular cathedral. Great restaurants.

Pros: The old building was very charming and the location being in the middle of the historic and beautiful town was very nice.

Cons: There was no lobby and the parking situation was very difficult.

Pros: The location is beyond surreal. It is almost inside the Cathedral, but not - so that you have a stunning view especially from the roof. The rooms are clean and the overall building is lovely with tons of character. It is certainly very central

Cons: The staff is often not at the front desk or they say it is "closed" during certain hours. So any needs must be prearranged. They will work with you but you must set up in advance!

Pros: I absolutely adored the view from my room- it looked right out onto the cathedral. I actually had not realized that the hotel had such amazing views until we arrived. In the past, the building was used as lodging for the cathedral’s priests; you can definitely feel the history around you. Also, there is a sweet rooftop patio that looks out over the city. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Cons: There was nothing negative about my stay.

Pros: The location was excellent. It was right in front of the cathedral so we made it the meeting point of location. The staff/caretaker of the hotel was very nice. The rooftop deck has incredible views of Toledo. It was awesome! The rooms/house is where the cardinals stay when they come to Toledo. The room was very clean. We highly recommend this place to stay in Toledo.

Cons: The decoration is really old school, l felt a bit like in my grandparents house. There is no kettle in the room. Breakfast is not good.

Pros: The place is located right in the centre, in a pedestrian street with access to most of the sightseeing nearby! The room was pleasant, clean and the bed was very comfy.

Cons: Since it was very hot these days in Toledo many people stay out at night, which can be a little noisy as the window faces the pedestrian street.

Pros: Location location location. Cheap and good breakfast offered in restaurant. They held our luggage until it was time to check in.

Cons: If carrying big luggage this place might be an issue to get to. Toledo can be hilly and with stairs. This was our case. We also asked for a double bed but got 2 single beds, wasn't much of a problem for us.

Pros: Nothing. Nada. It was the worst hostel experience I ever had.

Cons: Firstly, the reception guy that checked us in was very rude to us when we complained about the room door (ROOM 201), which has a hole near the lock area. He banged the door loudly to "demonstrate" that the door is "safe". But that's not the worst of all, at night we found out that the supposedly LOCKED window/door to the balcony facing the street was actually BROKEN and can be EASILY PUSHED OPEN with slightest force. And it was the ONLY barrier between our room and the balcony outside, meaning the room is not safe to be stayed in with the broken window because anyone can easily climb in to the balcony and force their way into our room! And there's a giant cloth being tied to the balcony which is linked to the building at the opposite side of the road which makes it even more accessible to the outsider.There's some sticker/plaster stuck on the upper part of the big window, maybe someone knows there's a problem with that thing but they didn't fix it properly and keep renting it out! We are extremely worried about our safety, especially the fact that we are the only two girls staying in that room. We complained to the reception and even called their person in charge named GUTI but the guy is super irresponsible. He just said that his hostel is overbooked and he can't do anything about it, not even trying to find a proper place for us as replacement nor giving any compensation for their incompetence to check n fix broken part of the room before rent out. Worse, he challenged us to take a taxi and find a place to stay in another city at midnight!! He even said that it's safe to sleep with the windows open. Excuse me, this is on the 2nd floor and not 20th floor! How can it be safe! We got no choice but to stay in the room since it's already 1am midnight. We were terrified and having sleepless night there, and were super tired the next day! Our entire Spain trip was RUINED cuz of this!

Pros: Fantastic location right in the middle of old town. Good, inexpensive restaurant downstairs. Clean, and cosy room.

Cons: No wifi. Breakfast options quite limited.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Well located within Toledo. near cathedral.

Cons: Location would be a problem if you were hauling a suitcase. We had left our suitcases in Madrid and only had backpacks so was not a problem, but would not have liked hauling suitcases over the cobblestones and up a small incline.
