Pros: The room is clean and cozy. The cathedral in the center of Toledo is just a walking distance.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: - Miguel Angel (or Michael) is an excellent and friendly host who gives great advice and restaurant recommendations - The location is ideal for exploring Toledo - The room is exceptionally clean - The room rate is great value for money
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostal is in an old historical building, so the bedroom still maintains the old traditional historical magnificent features. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Each room has its own toilet and they are very clean. The street is very lively during the day, but very quiet at night, so I slept perfectly and the location is ideal.
Cons: The place has no room to offer breakfast, but there is a lovely coffee shop 1minute walk from there. There is no 24hrs reception, but the host gets in touch to organise check in and check out and is available for any need.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location right in the heart of old Toledo. A clean and comfortable room, if a little snug, but I get the feeling space is a premium in old Toledo. Best of all was the host Miguel who was possibly the most welcoming, helpful, and enthusiastic host I have ever encountered - thanks Miguel Angel!
Cons: The room would have been pretty tight if you had two suitcases. If you don't like stairs, request a lower floor room. There is no lift.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had two rooms at La Posada de Zocodover for two nights. From the time we arrived until the morning we left, Miguel and his wife treated us like family. Every review I had read was correct. Their warmth and helpfulness turned this little hostel into a 5 star experience. The rooms are small but thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. Although they do not serve breakfast they sent us a few doors away to La Pepa which was great, and Starbucks is right around the corner. The location was perfect. The first thing Miguel did when we checked in was to give us a map where he circled everything we should see and gave us restaurant suggestions. All were excellent.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Miguel and his wife warmly welcomed us in their hostal in the middle of beautiful historical Toledo. Miguel gave us map and showed us all places where to go/not to go and when. He recommended us café and restaurant, where he and locals go, food was delicious. Thanks to him we knew, where we wanna go, saved us time and money. Our room was perfect, super nice, super clean and quite. There was a small bow with candies, sorry Miguel we ate all chocolate. Our stay in Toledo was awesome, big part of it was thanks to our stay in this hostal. We are very much looking forward to come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner, Miguel Angel, was extremely helpful in planning our time in Toledo. He truly made his lovely hostal feel like home.
Cons: Nothing we can think of!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Miguel and Gema are so welcoming and generous with their time and local information - all Miguel’s recommendations for sights and restaurants were great. It’s position right in the heart of old Toledo could not have been better - everything was within an easy, lovely walk. Whilst small, the perfectly quiet room was beautiful and traditionally furnished with a gorgeous enclosed balcony and a lovely outlook onto the cathedral and street below - perfect for people watching! Excellent, reliable WiFi and air conditioning. Room daily cleaned and stocked with toiletries, bottles of water and delicious little chocolates. A perfect home from home!

Pros: The owner, Miguel, was extremely friendly and helpful before and during our trip. He always responded quickly to our questions and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We also loved the location of the hostal.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The friendly staff and Turkish baths
Cons: Room was cramped and airless with small windows onto a narrow shaft. Air conditioning couldn’t cope. Rigs were not clean. Terrible pillows!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The fact that there was someone to check us in out of hours on a Sunday was really appreciated. I loved the quick response to all our emailed enquiries once we had booked - fantastic customer service. The welcome was marvellous, everything was explained well. We booked an overnight stay - I loved the room, very in keeping with the Arabic authenticity of the baths. The room was tastefully decorated with lots of moorish features which were very pretty. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable and clean. I particularly liked the tea coffee and extras provided in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious and well presented. The baths and sauna were amazing, we had them completely to ourselves. The tea service during the baths cycle was energising and refreshing. The exfoliating sessions and massage sessions were heavenly performed with such professionalism. All in all highly highly recommended.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautifully designed and comfortable rooms, clean and cosy. The location was very central walking distance to many places to visit. The price difinitly worth it as they included one hour Arabianbath. The staff were friendly.
Cons: The check in time was 16:00 and they dont give the rooms key before that even if its available but if this work for you then it difinitly worth the price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has Arabic baths attached and we booked a room that included a daily one hour soak, with mint tea. Lovely atmosphere and comfortable room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decor. Our large room was clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful considering it was hard to communicate with us as we don’t speak Spanish and their English was limited. Highlight was our relaxing Arab bath and tea. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The decoration is mudejar head to toes, the room is the biggest I‘ve ever been and everything smells beautifully exotic.
Cons: The mattress.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good location in a quieter but still easy to find part of Toledo. Farther away from the day tourists that are crowded in Zocodover.

Pros: The hotel is wonderful. Our bed 2x2 meters.vwey comfortable. We slept soundly Thanks
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice atmosphere, friendly staff
Cons: They could serve better wines
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff at the reception desk. Very attractive Hotel with excellent Location and very reasonable room rate.
Cons: A few small things that can be improved: 1) in a five star Hotel I expect at least two free bottles of water every day 2) no Kleenex box in the bathroom 3) staff was overwhelmed during busy breakfast hours. Breakfast items running out fast and being replaced only very, very slowly and after asking for them. 4) staff answering incoming calls did not make any effort to locate us in the breakfast room when an international call came in for us. As I said, nothing important, but should be improved.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Modern, cool looking hotel with a lovely spa friendly reception staff. Beds extremely comfortable.
Cons: The bar is visually stunning but the furniture is uncomfortable. Drinks in the bar are extremely expensive with the cheapest Gin costing €18. It’s a five star hotel but they don’t offer a turndown service at night. We received one small bottle of water between two of us for two nights. They should have stretched to a bottle each per night.
6.7 Good
Pros: Comfort
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, great location, very comfortable and clean.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: No valet, no parking, no body to help with the luggage
6.7 Good
Pros: location and boutique hotel
Cons: we were advised at check in that there would maintenance at the property. not sure who thought this one through but it meant electricity was cut at 5am and all the emergency lights came on .. waking the whole hotel. would have been better if this work would have been scheduled later in the day when most guests are out of the hotel. our room although lovely had massive cobwebs. A small detail but the music in reception wasn't in keeping with the hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building with a lot of art, perfectly located to discover Toledo!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is more than perfect I really enjoyed my stay big time there and definitely will go back again , the hotel has own spirt , the most significant thing is the staff the staff is really helpful full of energy and they gave a place a vey good vibe , the hotel is extremely luxurious it is old palace one of the autograph hotel ...etc a lot of good things to say about it:)
Cons: The only thing that they don’t have pool due to the location and as the hotel is one of the oldest places in this area that the only thing .
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. This is no exception as we think it is better to enjoy local cafes than spend a lot of money on breakfasts in hotels. We generally get much better coffee outside of hotels! The quality of the dinner we had was excellent - except for one mishap - see below.
Cons: Only one bottle of complementary water in our bedroom and only on the day of arrival. This is the first Marriott hotel where I haven't had two bottles every night of my stay, and I've stayed in lots of Marriotts. Also, although there weren't many guests in the bar or the restaurant, the barman had to double as waiter on one night, which wasn't very satisfactory. My pork fillet was ordered 'medium' but came 'blue' (very rare) - mistakes happen I guess.
7.3 Good
Pros: very nice hotel , excellent staff
Cons: the location of the hotel is very problematic while coming with a car , very difficult to reach the hotel
7.3 Good
Pros: Within short walking distance of the Cathedral, old synagogues and other sights. Comfortable rooms; well designed hotel. Good value. Excellent local cuisine in restaurant; fairly expensive menu.
Cons: When driving, hotel was very, very hard to find in oldest part of Toledo (took us 1-1/2 hrs.), with steep hills, one-way streets; people on the streets didn't know of the hotel, or didn't know where it is; or didn't know how to get there by car. GPS had nervous breakfdown. Parking in the nearby garage was expensive (17 euros/night). This was the only Spanish hotel of eight we stayed in that didn't have a computer for use of guests. They advertise a spa, but only a very small exercise room is available free to guests; you can pay for a massage or sauna.
7.7 Good
Pros: Excellent location, great staff, modern luxury. Room was smallish, but well decorated with nice bathroom. A gem in the middle of an incredible old city. Staff very attentive and lobby and main area very impressive.
Cons: No iron, room was a bit small.
7.3 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a great location. It was smack in the middle of Toledo's old town. It was about a 5 minute walk from all the shopping and restaurants.
Cons: At night the streets of Toledo are full of young drunk British men and or unemployed. It can be a bit sketchy there at night and you definitely have to watch your back. All the tourists leave during the day.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a very clean, classy hotel. The staff was more than helpful and it was very quiet. I liked that it was next door to a little market which allowed us to buy juice and bread in the mornings.

Hostal La Campana’s rooms feature fresh décor and wood furnishings. They feature a TV, telephone and a private bathroom. A continental breakfast is served daily, and the hotel has a cafeteria. La Campana's restaurant serves set menus and tasty traditional dishes with a modern twist. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Toledo’s narrow, winding streets with its Roman architecture and numerous museums and churches. Toledo Cathedral is a 5-minute walk away. Toledo Bus Station is 1 km from Hostal La Campana, and Madrid’s Barajas Airport is 1 hours’ drive away.
7.1 Good
Pros: Convenient location in the "Jewish Quarter" off Calle San Tome which is one of the busier pedestrian streets, not far from the Cathedral, The people who run the hostal also run the La Campana restaurant on the ground floor. It was nice to have breakfast included in the low rate. Mainly a continental breakfast, but I appreciated the coffee and fresh juice. The room was small and basic, but had a nice view onto a small decorated courtyard (as opposed to the air shafts or laundry lines I was used to seeing during my trip at other budget lodgings). The bathroom was well-sized, and the shower had a rainforest shower head. Aircon worked and was welcome.
Cons: No elevator. You would need to walk up at least one flight of stairs to get to the rooms. While the wifi was free and reliable, it was fairly slow compared to other lodgings in Spain.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is great. Middle of everything. The staff was great and very helpful, though nobody spoke english. Was a little hard, but not an issue.
Cons: Issue was that there was no cup in the bathroom, so i had to use my hands to rinse while teeth brushing. Also, the bed was not comportable, but it maybe a matter of taste. Walls are thin, You can hear noises. Was not a problem, since there was not many people. But if the place was packed with tourists, it may be a problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location!
Cons: The breakfast can still be improved.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Its very clean and the staffs are all.friendly
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Excellent location, great air conditioning, very comfortable, and the proprietress (I don't know how to spell her name correctly) was extremely nice and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best location in Toledo, from where you can visit the whole city very easily; for example the masterpiece of the great painter El Greco is only 50 meters from this hotel. The staff which is Toledo rooted knows everyrthing about his city
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The attendant lady was sweet and helpful. The bfast was easy and ended at 10:30 which let me sleep in. It was in the Juderia next to Santo Tomé. The price was great. It was super clean.
Cons: The doors are super noisy to close so my neighbors woke me a lot. The walls were very thin and I had to knock on the wall so they would quiet. There was no lift which makes it hard after a full day of climbing in the scorching heat and then moving luggage
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exelent! The best location, very comfortable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location - right in the heart of Toledo, but in a quiet small street. Complementary breakfast. Staff is really friendly and saved my life by providing me their personal mobile charger during my stay.
Cons: The furniture could be more comfortable and it might need some renovation.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect just in the center of old town, full of shops around the hostal and the staff was very friendly. 100% Recommended

5.0 Okay
Cons: The hotel is seriously understaffed, it shows everywhere from but especially the housekeeping...the room and corridors were quite dirty, furniture very tired.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The room was very somptuous.
Cons: The staff were very rude, impolite, unfriendly, do not know how the hotel was rated 5 stars???w
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and very comfortable with great parking and hotel amenities. Able to make hot drinks in the room. Bathroom was lovely and spacious. Recommended.
Cons: Rooms big and a big comfortable bed.
7.5 Good
Pros: Large Rooms
Cons: Nothing
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast is fantastic, rooms are large, beds are fine
Cons: Not renovated, rooms are getting old. Bathrooms damaged clogged washbasins (both). Reception did not take care of our problem, not even a discount. Spa is very dirty, and stinks. That hotel has absolutely never been maintained properly for years. In the past, was nice. But now, better not stop here ! And parking 10 euros... for an hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very far from the center... restaurant car is very restrictive and wine list is poor and low quality. If you like 4 or 5 stars hotels, don’t come to this one ! (It’s a 3 stars Spanish level, no better). But still not maintained
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was gorgeous, everything amazing, it has transfer to the city center.
Cons: Unfortunately they lacked staff in the restaurant/bar (they were kind of slow). We made a reservation to the restaurant and when we got there it wasn’t scheduled (at least there was available tables)
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Same bar and room menu for the last 6 years
9.2 Excellent
Pros: My third time in this hotel and the reason why I always stay here when in Toledo is the size of the rooms, great breakfast, nice pool area and great gym. And when it's a 5 star hotel, everything just works really well. If you need to work, even the basic rooms are huge and they have a good work desk with comfortable office chair.
Cons: Well the only minus is the location and it's a bit far from the old town. But that's no problem and taxis are really cheap and also the hotel has a free transfer bus time to time.
7.5 Good
Pros: The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We had massages in the spa and they were wonderfully relaxing. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Cons: We had a non smoking room as requested however when we arrived it smelt of smoke and there was an ashtray with cigarette ends in it on our balcony. This was rectified immediately by staff however. It would have been good if there had been a smaller more intimate bar area - it is in the main atrium and is very impersonal. The pool area is lovely however missing some mosaic tiles.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is right in the centre of the old town. We asked for some recommendations on places to eat and they recommended there own restaurant and several near by establishments, although only there 24 hours we ate in their restaurant for dinner and a recommendation for lunch and both were excellent. Everything within easy walking distance but the town is also very hilly.
Cons: If you fancied a drink in the Hotel bar it did not open until 8pm, the same time as the restaurant, but there was a couple of local bars across the road in a little square.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcoming staff; secure under cover parking and easy access into the town which was beautiful. Room was huge and bathroom excellent with spa bath, shower and bidet all very clean.

Pros: Hotel Carlos V was in a great location in the old town, staff were very helpful - Pablo made a good recommendation for dinner called Los Cuatro Tiempos . The breakfast was excellent and in a very interesting Mudejar style decor. Highly recommended. We caught a taxi to the hotel from the station which cost about 8€.

Cons: I was notified the swimming pool had closed during 9/15~2020/6/12. But I arrived at 9/23 and saw people were swimming. However I prepared nothing and been arranged at the room facing the pool. It was a very bad experience for tourists.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view and the parking.

Pros: the breakfast was very good for the money. location was ideal for the cathederal and town. the roads are very narrow so check with the hotel about parking as garage has a low hight limit and tha alternative parking is just out side the city with no narrow streets and only a short walk to hotel/

7.0 Good
Pros: Beautiful hotel in stunning city
Cons: Very narrow streets not suitable for cars. This information should have been indicated before booking. Car park was unsuitable so I had to park elsewhere.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Full of character and very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and the breakfast for 5 euros was excellent.
Cons: This is not a complaint, just a comment. If you are driving to the hotel the roads in the centre are very very very narrow, if you have a big car (we have a Mercedes E class) it is really tricky. Gold star to my husband for managing to negotiate the roads and for getting in and out of the car park.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an enjoyable stay here. The hallway was decorated with ceramic tile giving it a sense of the past. The location is right in the middle of the old town - busy during the day but very quiet at night. The rooftop patio is a real highlight especially at night with a view of the cathedral. The staff was friendly and helpful. One of them guided my husband in and out of the garage as it was a tight fit.
Cons: There could be more choices for breakfast instead of a set menu of a couple of things. Finding the place had its challenges because of the narrowness of the streets and the pedestrians walking in front of the car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly stuff, good view from the roof.

8.9 Excellent (1,481 reviews)
AED 275+
Overview Reviews
This building was renovated in 2012. It is located on the plaza Zocodover, hub of the city and the Old Town Square itself. Within walking distance we can reach the Alcázar and the Cathedral. On the ground and first floor building there is the reception, where we find the background a restored well from the XIV century, opposite the main entrance, and also a wall from the seventeenth century. The hotel features single, double and triple room with a nice modern functional decor. They are equipped with minibar, internet connection, air conditioning and a plasma TV. Its location, on the Zocodover square, warrants a trip back in time to the most traditional and authentic Toledo.

Cons: - Old room. Depressing actually! Reported the issues at the front desk and was told they will make an effort to check. No change to the issues. Was not offered another room or any follow up.

Pros: Excellent hotel, beautifully situated lovely friendly staff Hotel merits 4Star not 3!!Would highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Nothing it was great
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location has its ups and downs, it is a 20 minute walk from the city center but because of this and due to its high location, it had the most amazing view to the city. Breakfast was good, the room was very clean and they had a parking lot that you could use even after the checkout all free of charge.
Cons: The only thing that I can point out was the pillow, it was too soft and it gave me a neck pain in the next day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, super clean and in general the hotel seemed to be well cared for. Bedrooms looked modern and were very comfortable. You also have a great view.
Cons: Breakfast could be better. It was also a shame that the swimming pool was closed. It was 31°c, so it was really warm but the swimming pool was closed since the 16th of September...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Great size room and bathroom. Shower was amazing. Views from patio were spectacular with great service for drinks.
Cons: Everything was wonderful.

6.3 Good
Pros: Very quiet location, modern shower
Cons: Bathroom was not well maintained, WiFi basic and airco not working
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Massive comfortable bed (about 8ft wide!) Large terrace with city view (in room 204) Large variety of breakfasts. Bar/restaurant terrace overlooking the city. Nearly everything. Large shower.
Cons: Barely useful air-con. Minimum temperature, full blast barely enough to cool the room and it wasn’t that hot outside. Toilet too close to the sink made for awkward seating. Location is definitely not for people with mobility issues.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful. Lovely meal in the restaurant-medallion of beef gorgeous. Catered really well for coeliac as well. The views from the hotel are amazing.
Cons: Pool closed but wonder why so early and why no outside sun loungers in the garden?

7.1 Good
Pros: Bed fine
Cons: Walking distance to attractions and parking
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was superb . Our room was far better than expected comfortable and quiet. Location could not have been better.
Cons: The lack of a restaurant within the hotel was disappointing , there was a small outdoor covered area which we presumed belonged to the hotel as there was an entrance into a small dining area but this was closed off , and could only seat outside . Having had a long day travelling we decided to eat at this outdoor area. Unfortunately the menu and quality of the food was very poor , Service was mediocre at the best , It was as if the waiter was bored and did only what he had to do. Just let the hotel down. A bar / seating lounge for the guests would have been nice. ,
7.5 Good
Pros: Large comfortable bedrooms.
Cons: Excellent breakfast, but rather pricey. No wonder people were packing picnics from breakfast buffet!

7.1 Good
Pros: Architecture, location, cleanliness.
Cons: Staff, room was on last floor and extremely hot, breakfast could br better for 4 stars hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I was 100% happy but think it fair to warn others that my husband thought it was a bit of an uphill hike into the hold town. Well, it is built on a hill so it’s uphill from anywhere and I thought it was a nice stroll but others may need to be inside the town gate
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It offers real value for money. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. It has several bars and restaurants nearby. You can park for free on the roads around the hotel with a bit of research.
Cons: Be aware that it is a good 10 - 15 min walk, a fair bit uphill, for a fit person to the centre of Toledo.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean, well decorated and easy to find. It has its own parking for 15euros. We like the breakfast and the candies on the reception) It is very close to the old town and sighseeing places - neae 7-10min walk. `
Cons: 1. There were troubles with shower. 2. Around the hotel there is a small bar and a restaurant Gothica The bar is very strange and doesn't seem to be nice and comfortable The restaurant has a small choice and high prices. There's no other places to have meal in this area But still you can do it in the old town

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast with plenty to eat. The hotel is very suitably placed for people visiting the Old Historical City of Toledo. We had an upgraded quiet deluxe room for 3 nights on the (top) 2nd floor which was certainly good value for money. Everything in the room worked correctly. The hotel staff are charming and very helpful.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: great views over the old city and not too far to walk there.
Cons: Didn't have a dedicated car park.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow, What a charming hotel in a setting with simply stunning views. It might be slightly outside Toledo but a regular bus stop is just outside or a relatively downhill 15 min walk: depending on the heat haha. Lovely modern room and cracking shower. Will deffo return to Toledo and look to book here once more. (Big tip if arriving via the bus station. There are new escalators that take you up to the city saving a walk up in that heat)
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view of Toledo Just in front off the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, free street parking possibility, comfortable pillows, very clean. Thank you.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting away from the hustle and bustle of Toledo tourism but walking is unrealistic especially in the summer heat. There is a bus service which stops at the door which I would recommend using. The room was modern, cool and clean. The receptionist who was there during our one night stay was incredibly helpful, warm and kind. Beautiful terrace to sit out in the evening with a drink. I can highly recommend this accommodation.
Cons: The food in the restaurant was quite basic and could have been better. I would have liked to eat on the terrace but that was not possible. I’m not sure why.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Amazing Hotel! Lovely staff and good facilities. The hotel is also close to city centre :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Its cosy, clean, comfortable, lovely location and it has a small pool but really adorable with a great view of the city ❤️
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a fantastic hotel which whilst located a little away from the centre of Toledo affords beautiful views of the city itself. Unfortunately I only stayed one night but would have been happy to spend longer relaxing around the pool taking in the views.
Cons: The walk into town whilst not particularly long can add to an already strenuous day of exploring the ups and downs of the streets of Toledo. However I only feel this is an issue with the heat in the middle of summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff happy to speak English. Room comfortable and pool a nice addition. Breakfast a good selection of breads, pastries and cereals. Would definitely book again.
Cons: Nothing negative to comment on.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We liked the view from our terrace, the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly staff
Cons: The hotel could do with a bar service as there was nowhere nearby to buy drinks and refreshments.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, price, the room was cozy and clean. The staff was very welcoming and helpful
Cons: A little nosy, but it’s old house in the heart of the city
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Everything within 10 minutes walking radius. Restaurants (Inc. Vegan, tapas, pizzas...), all monuments and museums.
Cons: Tiny shower makes difficult to wash your feet. Great for quick morning showers, though.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was excellent! The hotel has been beautifully restored by the owners and the decor was lovely.
Cons: We drove from Madrid and finding the property was really difficult. There was no kettle in the room but the owner told us we could use the coffee machine in the breakfast area. We did this twice and was then scolded by a member of staff. When I was next going out I was again scolded by another staff member at reception. I felt very uncomfortable after this. Breakfast was basic and I feel for what was on offer (no teabags for 3 days) that the cost should be included in the room price. My husband’s complaint was he had to wake up the night receptionist to unlock the front door so that he could go for a run each morning. This added to the feeling that you were an unwanted guest in someone’s home.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room with unexpected private courtyard! The building is so cool and in a fantastic location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, helpful staff, great views from terraces - be sure to see the cathedral lit up at night.
Cons: Only wish that we'd stayed more than one night.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Next door to Cathedral in centre of old town so easy walk to everywhere.
Cons: Tiny shower. Distance between car park and hotel. Said to be 4minute walk. With our pull along and carry on case up and down steep inclines it took a lot longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Specilly the very nice couple who is halving the hotel.

Pros: This is a beautiful, historic property. The breakfast was beyond expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location right next to the cathedral so we were always able to find our way back through the labyrinth of streets by looking for the cathedral steeple. Staff was great, particularly Nacho who made sure all was good and gave great recommendations for restaurants and tour. Really nice rooftop view of Toledo from hotel. Bonus was the nice breakfast included eggs, Jamon, fruits, sweet breads, yogurt, cereal, etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding and the whole place feels like pulled out from a fairytale.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly...location...rooftop lounge...historical.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a beautiful building located very well, very cosy and well secured. The roof terrace is peaceful with great views. Staff are welcoming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I stayed two nights. Great location immediately adjacent to the cathedral. Accommodation was where the cardinals resided in the past. Very old styled rooms which are wonderfully atmospheric with enough of the mod cons to be comfortable. Open the window and you are greeted with a nice view up the cobbled street. No lift so you will need to carry your bags up to your room. Nice breakfasts downstairs. Nice helpful staff. Getting to the accommodation with your car is very tricky but possible. Very narrow streets. After arriving and dropping bags and checking in, parking back down another narrow street to parking station. Town very interesting to walk around but quite up and down which you expect in hill top towns. Spectacular cathedral. Great restaurants.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The old building was very charming and the location being in the middle of the historic and beautiful town was very nice.
Cons: There was no lobby and the parking situation was very difficult.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is beyond surreal. It is almost inside the Cathedral, but not - so that you have a stunning view especially from the roof. The rooms are clean and the overall building is lovely with tons of character. It is certainly very central
Cons: The staff is often not at the front desk or they say it is "closed" during certain hours. So any needs must be prearranged. They will work with you but you must set up in advance!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I absolutely adored the view from my room- it looked right out onto the cathedral. I actually had not realized that the hotel had such amazing views until we arrived. In the past, the building was used as lodging for the cathedral’s priests; you can definitely feel the history around you. Also, there is a sweet rooftop patio that looks out over the city. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
Cons: There was nothing negative about my stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. It was right in front of the cathedral so we made it the meeting point of location. The staff/caretaker of the hotel was very nice. The rooftop deck has incredible views of Toledo. It was awesome! The rooms/house is where the cardinals stay when they come to Toledo. The room was very clean. We highly recommend this place to stay in Toledo.
Cons: None

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is located right in the centre, in a pedestrian street with access to most of the sightseeing nearby! The room was pleasant, clean and the bed was very comfy.
Cons: Since it was very hot these days in Toledo many people stay out at night, which can be a little noisy as the window faces the pedestrian street.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location location location. Cheap and good breakfast offered in restaurant. They held our luggage until it was time to check in.
Cons: If carrying big luggage this place might be an issue to get to. Toledo can be hilly and with stairs. This was our case. We also asked for a double bed but got 2 single beds, wasn't much of a problem for us.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. Nada. It was the worst hostel experience I ever had.
Cons: Firstly, the reception guy that checked us in was very rude to us when we complained about the room door (ROOM 201), which has a hole near the lock area. He banged the door loudly to "demonstrate" that the door is "safe". But that's not the worst of all, at night we found out that the supposedly LOCKED window/door to the balcony facing the street was actually BROKEN and can be EASILY PUSHED OPEN with slightest force. And it was the ONLY barrier between our room and the balcony outside, meaning the room is not safe to be stayed in with the broken window because anyone can easily climb in to the balcony and force their way into our room! And there's a giant cloth being tied to the balcony which is linked to the building at the opposite side of the road which makes it even more accessible to the outsider. There's some sticker/plaster stuck on the upper part of the big window, maybe someone knows there's a problem with that thing but they didn't fix it properly and keep renting it out! We are extremely worried about our safety, especially the fact that we are the only two girls staying in that room. We complained to the reception and even called their person in charge named GUTI but the guy is super irresponsible. He just said that his hostel is overbooked and he can't do anything about it, not even trying to find a proper place for us as replacement nor giving any compensation for their incompetence to check n fix broken part of the room before rent out. Worse, he challenged us to take a taxi and find a place to stay in another city at midnight!! He even said that it's safe to sleep with the windows open. Excuse me, this is on the 2nd floor and not 20th floor! How can it be safe! We got no choice but to stay in the room since it's already 1am midnight. We were terrified and having sleepless night there, and were super tired the next day! Our entire Spain trip was RUINED cuz of this!
7.5 Good
Pros: Fantastic location right in the middle of old town. Good, inexpensive restaurant downstairs. Clean, and cosy room.
Cons: No wifi. Breakfast options quite limited.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Well located within Toledo. near cathedral.
Cons: Location would be a problem if you were hauling a suitcase. We had left our suitcases in Madrid and only had backpacks so was not a problem, but would not have liked hauling suitcases over the cobblestones and up a small incline.
