This is one of the best stays my fiance and I have had in ages. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and elegant. Make sure you opt for a sea view room. I would highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is central location and the staff helpfulness. Efficient and effective service.

Hotel guests have to book a table for dinner! This is something worth looking into! That children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the spa. The spa has a swimming pool,it beats logic why they can’t use the swimming pool!

The hotel itself is beautiful, and has a perfect spot in Stockholm, it’s very central and it’s a historical place so really nothing to say on that end. The rooms are quite big and nicely furnished.The beds are very very comfy. I recommend you ask for a room in a calm wing of the hotel, as the first one we had was quite noisy due to a party going on a few floors down. The bar/restaurant/the spa, are truly awfully handled. You need to book every single drink/tea/snack you want to be having at the hotel, so if you plan on having a quick glass of wine at some point, just forget about it you will be told it’s fully booked all the day long. They do not hold any tables for hotel guests, so you could just as well be staying at any other hotel and be treated the exact same way. We found this extremely disappointing and it actually messed up some of our plans. We wish the hotel had told us before hand, or at least when we checked in. Same thing for the spa, if you want to enjoy the sauna or Hammam, you will need to book a slot, mostly on the weekends apparently as they have people from outside coming to enjoy the spa and the gym. Luckily we had someone very kind and helpful at the front desk who managed to find us a spot for tea time on our last day.

Everything from the bed to the Iron is top quality. The personnel is great. We liked the spa a lot.

In my view, the breakfast was outstanding at a previous visit. This time I felt it to be pretty basic and unduly priced.

Their service was excellent and that's the main reason I stay at the hotel as Grand in Stockholm.

Only some guests were behaving improperly trying to establish a contact with me in the way which is a bit too familiar. This is something which seemingly happens only in Sweden when people are drunk.

EVERYTHING was Perfect!

Everything - I have absolutely loved my stay at the Grand Hotel. On arrival, efficient service from a helpful young man at check in, thank you for my room it was beautiful, great view, loved the bathroom and shower. I want so say a big thank you to Helena Akerlund and to all the staff at the Grand Hotel for making my stay exceptional. I did have a memorable time.

The bed and pillows were amazing! Same with the sheets, they were so soft. Spa is amazing! Breakfast really nice and fresh.

I didn’t like the cleaning that much. They didn’t take stuff away from the table (it was like a knife and napkin). The cleaning team took my shoe bag and shoe box away, they should not do that. However I got a new bag when I asked for it so that was really helpful!

One of the best hotels I have stayed in.On a par with 4 seasons at Maui.

Amazing bar, great views into the water and city, easy way to get back because it’s at the intersection of five streets, has a wonderful breakfast buffet, quiet rooms, comfortable dual full beds with exquisite sheets.

Location is best for us. I think the price is not so expensive.

The hotel and the room were sparkly clean, wifii is good and fast! no disconnections. the staff are wonderful and extremely helpful! it was a great experience. Big plus - the gym is fantastic with all the equipment you need for a blasting workout.

I loved the location, we were closed to almost everything! We were closed to the old town, shopping, museums and the hotel was right in front of the water front and close to the tour bus.

I didn’t request for s room with a view so we got a room that was in the back.

Loved the whole stay!

Great breakfast in all aspects...... Location is the very best when you want to explore by just walking out into town, old town etc.

You could have more staff available at the reception, so that guests don't have to wait unnecessary extra minutes. Superb hotel, the check in and check out needs to be more smooth and faster.

The fact that the hotel is in the city center ( Qamla stan) also facing the royal palace. Not to mention very close to the shopping area.

There was big gap between black out curtains and the wall, meaning the early morning light came through the window to the room causing too early waking up for us. This is the only negative thing I could say about our stay. Everything else was great!
