Location is perfect.

There was a weird smell in the whole building including the room that makes me quite uncomfortable. WIFi signal was relatively weak that i had to go to the lobby for stronger/stabler internet.

The location was superb. It was close to many different malls and just 15 mins away from the train station by car.

The bathroom was a little bit too small, it was difficult to even close the door.

The breakfast was fantastic. Location was very near to the Metro making the travel very Comfortable. Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly and they walked an extra mile to help a complete new comer to China.

I was Charged different rates each day :( The hotel room though neatly maintained the wash basin wasn't properly flushing despite the fix. Suggested to change the body wash as i couldn't stand the smell.

Very good location, next to Zhongshan Park and area shopping centres. Facilities not modern but clean and comfortable.

Location and value was the reason I booked this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by it all. Five minute walk to Line 2 (green line) metro that takes you everywhere you need to go including both airports. My favorite brewery was 10 minute walk away. Shops and restaurants were all within walking distance from hotel. The Laksa soup for lunch was delicious as well! Gym was small but also very functional and nice.

The hallways and rooms had an odor that was not nice.

surrounded by good places to eat, street food sellers and a very large shopping centre that had amazing restaurants and good shops plus it was close to the metro - 1-2 minutes walk. Hotel breakfast was great. staff nice.

rooms were rather dated - bathroom very small - and the reception put on some sort of event or party one night and it was loud, people were very drunk, there was a barrier suggesting it was off limits to hotel guests (the whole bar area) even though I think it wasn't and the next morning the place stank of booze. It was really odd. we went next door to the sister hotel - much nicer.

Breakfast was quite informal, with lots of choice, attentive and helpful staff. Hotel next to underground station, only a few stops into City Centre. Good value for money.

Rooms/bathrooms maybe need updating. But comfortable enough.

The staff, it was very inconvenient when I needed help and no one took the phone when I tried calling the front desk in the evening time.

Newly renovated rooms. Funky lobby. Hotel is in an Interesting spot to explore on weekend.

The toilet is so small. It’s not updated. They have one knob for hot water and another for cold water. Only find this kind of set up in India and Nepal. Didn’t expect it in Shanghai city next to a posh hotel. It’s far from the Pudong International airport. Costs me over 200 RMB. It’s closer to the other airport Hong Qiao which costs less than 100 RMB to reach via taxi.

Very bad treatment by the janitor who checked the room cards every time we came back to the hotel. Rude, and no explanations why such check is required. Different standard where applied: as a mixed couple we were checked; single guests could pass without any check.

Clean comfy and near subway . No smoking policy so no smoky smell or air disinfectant smell in the rooms

Some parts of the wall can do some repainting and the lobby bar area can be noisy on the weekends

The hotel is good. Staff very nice. The food in the restaurant is very good and not very expensive.

The only thing we disliked was the airconditioning everywhere. It was too cold in the rooms, breakfast/restaurant. We switched of the air on in the room but when we came back the housekeeping already switched it on again. It was not very warm outside but still the airco was very high everywhere. Hope next time is not so cold

There should be separate shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available. These 3 in 1 products are for cheap hostels.

i object to hotels insisting on a deposit when room is already paid for . it is not necessary . I asked to speak to manager and they refused to talk to me as they were too busy . not what i expect from a hotel of this standing . i would not stay here again and would also tell others not to

The location and cost of this hotel is good.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times but this was definitely the most disappointing stay. I'm not usually bothered by small noises but this time I was into a room that had a very noisy AC unit outside of it. At 11:30pm constriction began across the road to remove a rooftop billboard. This went on for a couple of hours and I feel we should have at least been warned that it was going to be taking place. Service was very slow at breakfast.

Excellent location - 2 min walk to Metro. Beautiful park and a mall within 5 min walk. Nice breakfast with range of choices. Nice atmosphere in lobby with pool table, games, comfy hairs, bar.

Would be good if staff could have cancelled the 6 am alarm left on the clock by a previous guest. Replacement of tea and coffee sachets would also have been nice.

My room was on the side of the street. For me is okay, but quite a long night for my girl partner.

Very clean, very big room and also well-equipped with everything you need. The receptionist spoke English well.

The room smelled a bit weird, also there was suddenly a big construction site outside of the hotel on the street. I felt they could have taken that under consideration for the room prices.

The bed was very comfortable and I sleep very well.

The carpet in the room looks old, feel old and smell a little.

Super smelly. There is a mandatory deposit request, even for fully paid reservations.

It is not super central, but close to metro, many fine restaurants around it. Nice breakfast. Fine value for money.

Our room smelled slightly odd. Very loud music one night (hotel salsa night).

The location was good, with good restaurants, shopping and metro station nearby.

Although the room was really big, the bathroom was minute, small for even one person. Soundproofing of the room was also poor.
