location is wonderful, right in the city center very noisy on Sunday night with disco pub downstairs till midnight, room is very small and narrow, too expensive with such poor facility
Location was excellent - also had very good lunch, breakfast and coffee facilities
Excellent location and breakfast. The room.was pretty small but.nice
Very well located, confortable and good value for price. Room quite small, but acceptable for short accomodation.
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean & bright. Reasonably priced considering it is in the centre of Rome. We intend to return to the city & intend to stay at the Cosmopolita again.; The room was slightly small. The shower cubicle was very small.
Hotel is centrally locaed; its public spaces are modern and our standard room, which appeared to have been recently renovated, had a nice old world charm with high ceilins and beautiful finishes.
I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, fantastic location and very friendly staff.
Couldn't ask for better location as a first time visitor. You can reach all the tourist spots on foot (that's what I did even though bus stops are only round the corner). Very good breakfast. Room size - so small that I couldn't find any space to put my 'closed' suitcase.
location of the hotel is excellent for all main attractions and restaurants The hotel staff were unfriendly and a touch unhelpful, especially reception. Breakfast was a little disappointing too
the Place no view from the window
Location Un renovated rooms, wifi doesn't work well and they make you pay for it, we had to change rooms. This hotel needs to be renovated. This is really not a small leading hotel or a 5 stars hotel as marketed
Convenient possition. Room in need of decoration for standard of hotel.
the location is perfect to see all the sights. it's very central to the Spanish steps and with in walking distance to the rest of the city it wasn't as upscale as we thought it was going to be, and for the price breakfast should have been included
Location, friendliness of staff, The rooms at the 5Th floor were unproper of a 5 star hotel, the price is over to high
The location is great. The room was comfortable enough. The hotel lounge was cozy. No wireless connection, despite the hotel staff is persuaded there is one. Ethernet connection + movies overpriced. Multimedia defficiency for a 5 star hotel.
Location was excellent. On a quiet road so not noisy. Staff were not very friendly. Restaurant suggestions were not great and no irons to borrow which surprised us for a 5 star.
location II was upgraded from Junior Suit to a Executive suit which had a nice bedroom and a larger then a corridor made up to a living room. You had to watch the TV from a distance of perhaps 2 meters. There was another room with a table in the middle with 4 chairs nothing else which was useless.very small lifts.
All ok excpt the air condition. Air condition was bad not cooling enough.
The location is excellent for a good short holiday in Rome. Central. We did not like the first room were put in: room 379: tacky and filthy carpet and aged cranky bathroom.
Central location, clean rooms, well working aircon Staff at reception was too formal, no way to get a smile...Breakfast is out of wack for a 4* hotel, internet should be free and not at euros 20/hr...
they upgraded us to a suite too close to trevi fountain so there were too many people up and down the street; chose because breakfast was said to be so good-- we have had better.
extremely close to all points of interest in Rome city including all classical sites. Reasonably quiet, if that is at all possible in Rome. The restaurant was not appealing to us: the prices were quite high, the service was slow and it was right next to a major traffic artery as well as the to the foot pass leading to Fontana Trevi.
The hotel was in an excellent location. The memory foam beds were extremely comfortable. We especially enjoyed the private patio. The bathroom was not clean. There were dirty fingerprints on the wall and even a bloody one. Breakfast food was very good but the waitresses were very impatient with guests when the coffee machine was out of order.
Excellent room, bathroom and hotel Poor service, arrogant and unhelpful staff made interactions with reception unpleasant. "Attempts" were made to service the room after 2pm each day exactly when we returned to our room after spending the morning and early afternoon sightseeing. This poor timing of the proposed servicing of the room was obviously intentional so as to avoid servicing the room. No soaps where replaced during the 4 night stay. Initially laundry was not done even after making a special trip to reception to obtain forms and understanding of their proposed laundry procedure. Laundry was only completed after an argument with reception. The hotel stay was not good because although the hotel is great but management is very poor
Excellent location for tourists. Front desk staff lacked smile, and not very helpful apart from the very basics.
Location was great. Room size for Europe was very good. Had room with terrace which was nice. Will stay again in future and recommend highly to others.
Location was excellent and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was excellent - very clean and comfortable.
Closeness to city centre; still quiet and cosy Reception personnel a bit cold; other personnel very friendly
1. location 2. room breakfast is to correspond to the price (quality and choice are very poor)
The location was incredible! It is literally at the Piazza Venezia. The bus stop is right outside the door (easy access from the Termini station). The Trevi fountain; and Colloseum are real close. Staff did not seem to know the new computer system very well, so the checkin and checkout took some time.
A well located hotel with attractively decoratated common areas and a nice lift The rooms were so small. Bathrooms even smaller. To describe our room as a 'Superior Double' was to misrepresent the room on 2 counts. It was neither superior, nor double. Then there is the matter of the 24 hour smell of baking donoughts from the bakery below, the lack of hot water, the heating system that didnt work............
location was the only best thing!! extreme ultra small room with cramped bathroom. no breakfast.
good location too small rooms
Very close to all of the historical sites The lack of air conditioning in the room. It worked great in the lobby.
the only good thing the hotel has to offer is it's location this was without a doubt the worst hotel I've ever been to. the rooms were extremely small and dark, with hardly any air coming in. half the time there was no hot water to take a shower. the worst part was the toilet - the water was'nt running well down the toilet. twice they told us they had fixed it when the actualy did nothing, and only when it got impossible to stay there, and after we demanded to talk to the manager - they finally switched the room to one that was a little better. on top of all that, they "forgot" to mention that there would be constructions going on at the hotel, so it was also messy and noisy. I would never, ever, recommend this hotel.
location is perfect
Loved the location to all things in rome! Bus stop right at the front door for St. Peters and a 24 hour bakery with coffee bar downstairs. several nice restaurants in general area and a short walk to panthenon and trevi. the colleseum and forum are a short walk away. The noise from the street is noticable, but we used the tv which was only in italian as white noise and did not have a problem sleeping as we were exhaused when we came in. The bathroom as noted by other travelers is small, the toilet is close to the 1/2 bathtub so would not be good for large people, but there was plenty of hot water and we had no problems and found it adequate for our needs
it has very central location
Location location location, also featured every amenity we required, such as a bathroom and shower. Room safe didn't work
It was close to many sites The air conditioner didn't work well, breakfast wasn't included and they charged us 50 euro to take us to the airport, and chrged us for phone calls that we made with a calling card.
great location, very friendly
Loved the location, right downtown in the centre of shopping and fashion in roma. Especially loved the fact that they were able to have my room ready for me when I arrived at 8:30 am for an very early check in at no extra charge. It was wonderful to be able to shower and relax after the long flight.....
The location was very convenient. The Staff was helpful and nice. It was too small for an " Executive Single Room ",there was not enough light, and the design was a bit outdated.
The location, the room (actually an appartment was given to us!), the shops around it the noise from the street, very crowded and noisy... But once you close the windows it is a lot better!
We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Homs. We had stayed there before the renovations, and our stay this was better than ever. The staff at the hotel was very courteous and extremely helpful. Can't think of a thing that we didn't like.
excellent location room was not comfortable, it was too small
Great location, comfortable, clean rooms. no
The location of the hotel is exellent. It was clean and the staff were lovely. The windows blocked out any street noise very well also Breakfast included would have been good but everything else was perfect!
Great Location and the gal at the front desk was very helpful and nice. Nice sidewalk cafe and great coffee! The bed and pillow were just so/so... no comfy down comforter or anything. Just a hard mattress.
The rooms were very nice, small on the basic end and beautiful in the deluxe. The staff were all incredible and the breakfast and happy hour/light dinner were incredibly convenient. Two of the rooms have a "courtyard view" which meant it was super dark, all day long. The rooms are small and no gym, but very typical of European hotels in the tourist district.
Had a good stay at Relais Trevi 95. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. 5 mins away from the Trevi Fountain. Breakfast included with your stay and delivered to your room with time requested which was AMAZING! The toilet looked really cool but uncomfortable to sit on other than that everything else was great!
All in all excellent. The first hotel in Italy with the most friendly staff we've ever experienced. The breakfast is verry good as well compared to other hotels. I praise the staff of this Hotel. Great Job and well done. All in all excellent
The location to all the great areas of Rome was it's best feature; however, I did love our room and the views from the two large windows out into the neighborhood. A really good experience.
Location. Within walking distance of most sites Dated looking rooms
friendly staff; location; cleanliness last 1,5 days we did not get bathroom amenities/towels changed/refurbished (out of 3 nights stay) - for the price (even special offer) of it this should have not happen
the restaurant was very good the staff approachable and friendly also the bathroom and room very comfortable non applicable
Great location!! Rooms were good size. Our family of 5 ( 2 teenagers and one small child) had a classic double and a deluxe triple interconnecting rooms...worked out well..staff was friendly and again very central, liked that it was a little away from the busy people and traffic areas. Would be great if they could update the furnishings a little.
Location was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate. Room was clean and comfortable.
The location is fantastic. 5 minuts walk from piazza navoni, Trevi fountain, via condotti. Hotel is very nice, with big old style rooms, each one different from the other. You have to wait too much for the lift
The location of the hotel was good for sight-seeing and was quiet and peaceful.
Location and room excellent. Majority of the staff attentive and helpfull Would appreciate english papers and more international food menu
Perfect location. Stayed 5 nights, had a problem with our room on the first night, spoke to the desk about it in the morning and they upgraded us at no extra cost for the other 4 nights, which was great. Breakfast good. Loved Rome. Hotel could do with a face lift, it is looking rather tatty in places and is a little pricey. The hotel restaurant, which is not run by the hotel serves awful food and is expensive too, so go further afield if you can. dont go to the restaurant that the hotel recommends called Crisciotti in via del buschetto, the food is ok but they rip tourists off by offering you discounts then sticking extras on your bill and overcharging you for other things. This happened to us and another couple while we were there. There are plenty of other nicer places to eat.
excellent location elevator was old and scary
the location and breakfast are fine. they r bunch of liars!! the reception told me i will stay in a single room i booked for the first night then they are gonna change me to a double room on the second night as a gift. it turns out they put me in a room that i can hear everything happened on the street!! its not possible to fall asleep in that room!! And after i talked two of their managers im pretty sure they do the same thing over and over again. All i wanna say is that room shouldnt be used as a hotel room anymore and the stuff there should stop lying!!!!!!
Excellent Location. Within 15 minutes walk of all the main sites, Colloseum, Trevi fountain etc. Vatican City only ten minutes by bus which can be picked up very close to the hotel, hotel also sells bus tickets. Also very close to some reasonably priced restaurants, which reception helpfully pointed us towards heading North up Nazionale round the back streets. Room very clean and very tastefully decorated. Air conditioning worked well, room was quiet. Staff very polite. Nice little snack bar directly opposite which will do you pannini and a soft drink for two for 11 euros (about £7 at the time of writing) Tried to sell us the more expensive Limo (50 euros) to take us back to Ciampino Airport, when taxi cabs are fixed fee of 30 Euro both ways for this journey. Shower cubicle was very small, they had a large massage type shower unit, but for some reason had fitted it with only a half size shower tray. I am only 5' 9'' but struggled turning round and washing in the shower without hitting my knees and elbows!!!
Location which puts you 5 minutes away from all major tourist attraction. Very clean rooms, decent breakfast, front desk staff very helpful. Definitly good value for money. Poor pastry at the breakfast. A bit noisy at night, but it comes with the location.
Very central location Showers in the rooms were very poor standard.
A nicely located hotel mixing modern amenities and an old-world atmosphere (including the cage lift). Some nice resraurants in the area as well.
Closeness to historic sites Lack of coffee making facilities in the room
great location. walking distance to all important tourist sites. nice decorations, friendly staff, could pay for internet access on their computer in the lobby pillows were hard as rocks
The location was excellent. The Breakfast was very good. The hotel staff spoke perfect English and helped us in every way. Honestly the pillows hurt my head. Not much to complain about. The room was clean, the safe worked, the breakfast was wonderful, it was family friendly.
Great rooftop views of Rome
Location, location, location. Good stuff. Spectacular breakfast bar on the roof with a view of all Rome. Clean, nice. Interntet was not working. It was connecting, but not working. Spent fortune on international data before realized.
The location was really convenient for me – centrally located and a convenient walk to most of the attractions (even the Vatican or Colosseum are only about a 20 minute walk away) The included breakfast was decent and couldn't have been served in a better location than the rooftop garden with a good view of the city in most directions. The WiFi is an extra charge unless you book directly on their website and it was so slow and unreliable that it's not worth paying for. They had the classic signs of a hotel skimping on a professional installation: many different network names and while many of them reported excellent signal strength, the access points would usually reject connection attempts; after retrying enough times to connect the best speed I saw was about as fast as a 2G cellular connection and you'd be logged out a couple of times an hour. Until they hire a professional to fix their network, skip the frustration and go out and enjoy the city instead. Any cafe, bar, restaurant, etc. advertising free WiFi will give you something tasty for your money along with better service.
The location was very good, with a small baby it was very easy reach Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna and Via Del Corso. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was not sufficient and full of delicatessen. So called open buffet contained Philadelphia cheese and some kind of cream cheeses. It would be nice if they had Mozzarella and other local Italian cheeses. Breakfast extras were so so expensive, we offered boiled eggs for our little son, it was 4 euros! Overall, I can say that hotel was expensive.
Nice situataion, very central.
All the Hotel staff where friendly and very helpful, Breakfast was part serve your self and waiter/waitress service for your drinks and with as much as you wanted to eat and drink to set you up for the day. The bar facilities where good and comfortable but a bit pricey but it is a first class hotel in a city centre so this is to be expected. A short work and you are in one of the main shopping streets of Rome. The Trevi fountain is 5 min walk away and the Spanish steps are about 10 min walk but be prepared for the heat it was a lot hotter for the time of year than we expected at 33 C. The hotel air con was a must at night. We did not feel it was too expensive, I have stayed in more expensive hotels and no where nears as good in the UK. This Hotel comes highly recommended from both myself and my wife. Nothing at all. I would stay there again if I was to return th Rome
Overall good package. Location is prime, breakfast like family, friendly staff, clean and warm environment.
location small room
The hotel staff was very helpful in everything we asked. The location of the hotel was perfect. In the middle of both sightseeing and shopping.
Good central position, but hard for taxis to stop outside. If you have a room overlooking the street, it is very noisy, and the beds are also not comfortable
The hotel corridors and common use areas are old. Rooms were looking better in the Web pictures increasing the expectations.
The room 112 was excellent. Very nice little patio, very quiet in the evenings. Cleaned every day in a very good manner. Superior staff. None.
The location of the hotel the rooms are not properly isolated, you can hear noises from the other rooms all the time
It is very comfortable room and the hotel location is excellent.
We loved this hotel! Stayed in the large suite which was beautiful and fitted out to a very high standard. Especially liked the glitterball above the shower! Service fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.
the staff and the room were excellent
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Drain smell in the toilet
the room was fantastic
the bathtub, the lush bath products, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast delivered to our room in the morning was diverse and tasty
breakfast in your suit was cold
Breakfast in the room, Size of the junior studio, big shower head :), cool bathtub, cd's to listen to.... everything is very well thought off. Very romantic. A very big plus actually :) Nothing
lovely and romantic atmosphere. Terrific stereo, (B&O) nice body & hair product (Lush). Free mini bar, (including bottles of champaigne and red wine) wonderful breakfast served in your room at your convenience. perfect. no lift in the hotel.
The location was great. In the heart of all the places I wanted to see. The bed sucked. Although all the beds in Italy are hard and uncomfortable.
Fantastic location - Trevi Fountain on your door step and within walking distance of major attractions. Good breakfast (hot and cold selection) and friendly staff.
This has to be the best location in Rome! We easily walked to everything. Yet the room was quiet and comfortable right across from the crowds at the Trevi Fountain. The whole hotel seems to be upholstered in lovely fabrics. Breakfast on the balcony was wonderful. They also gave us an upgrade into the main building. There are lots of stairs to negotiate if this is a problem. The staff is wonderful in carrying luggage however.
Linda at reception was super friendly and helpful! Thanks to her I did and saw everything I wanted in the short time I was there :)
Nothing., My husband and I specifically booked this hotel as part of our 25th anniversary celebration trip to Italy. With three days notice, this hotel informed our booking agent that they had OVER BOOKED and had to then reject our reservation. Seriously not impressed, especially as since when we visited the hotel to see it for ourselves, the gentleman at reception was extremely flippant. This put a big kink and a bit of panic in our itinerary.
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast every morning was very good. The location was prime for sightseeing! Would definitely stay here again!! nothing.
The hotel is very central. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a little bit of noise late at night given the hotel faces on to the square (but it was not too bad).
The location would be perfect if the fountain was not under construction from Aug 2014-Mid-2015. This was not mentioned anywhere and was a HUGE disappointment when we arrived. The hotel itself was nice enough - we were in the suite upstairs which was oddly shaped because of the roof/eaves, but had a private terrace, which was great. If the fountain was full and working, this would have been the best stay on our trip.
Location and helpfulness of staff The shower was a bit small
This was an excellent hotel. I would stay there again and would definitely refer others.
The location of the hotel was excellent about 10 mins walk to Spanish Steps where a lot of shopping can be done. About 10 mins walk to the closest train station although most of the main tourist sites can be done on foot such as Pantheon (10-15 mins), Colosseum (20mins). Very quiet given location. Staff were polite, breakfast staff were especially helpful but the manager was a bit abrupt. As we stayed there for 5 nights the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Superior Double room instead of a Standard Double. However, the room was on the 2nd floor, just below the breakfast area so we could hear footsteps all morning from about 6:30am. We requested a different room the next day that wasn't below the breakfast area so were downgraded back to a standard room on the 1st floor. This room was very quiet with no view of the street but unfortunately it had old cigarette smell that lingered in the room although it is now a non-smoking room. Luckily I had a cold during the rest of the stay so the smell did not affect me as much as it would have otherwise!
Staff was the most professional & helpful that I've encountered. I would stay again for that reason alone! The bathroom, No bath tub & the electric pump was annoying
location air conditioner
Excellent location close to many of Rome's historic areas and good variety of restaurants/cafes. The staff were very helpful. Bright, modern interior was very welcoming. The inevitable street noise as in all major cities - not a major problem but something to be aware of, as we understand their best rooms are on the street side of the building. The double glazing did help to reduce the noise however.
People are pleasant and personable
The hotel is beautiful, well located, the bed in excellent and bathroom good as well. I suffered from overbooking and had to spend the firts night in another hotel from the same chain. Really anoying. Additionaly, frm what I read on Trip Advisor, it seems to be common in this hotel. Another down is breakfast. Althought is has everything you may want it is too much desorganised. You don't have access to water, bread, orange juice and coffee - the staff has to bring to you in the table but there is not enough people, or maybe they are not efficient so you never have all you need together....
Cleaniness of the hotel and it's location Receptionist wasn't very friendly.
Overall very good nice job The breakfast tables are too small and it's hard to eat when you are with someone..
perfect location, very friendly helpful staff
Staff was attentive, courteous, friendly, professional and had a good sense of humor. The hotel itself was very tasefully decorated, offered a delicious breakfast in a lovely breakfast room. The location was perfect...we would stay here again. The carpeting in the rooms could use a good cleaning or should be replaced. Although the room and bathroom was very comfortable and tastefully deccorated.
Fresh and modern look with plenty of character / perfect location / friendly, attentive and helpful staff variety of breakfast / lack of staff after midnight (neither of which caused us any great deal of inconvenience)
The location. Close nearly to every interesting place in Rome. Easy access from the station and airport by de Leonardo Express. Cosy and nice hotel.Beautifly decorated and very nice people working there. We really liked it! The noise....but it is in the central historical Rome....so....understable!
I like the cleanliness and decor is beautiful very modern with a retro look. The staff are also amazing so nice and friendly.
