First rate hotel with charming staff and very convenient courtesy bus to city centre Our room suffered from a little road noise, but not enough to make us request a room change
The staff was very helpful and polite, everything was excellent
The friendly hotel staff and great room. The location. I wish I was a little closer to the major sights.
It was a perfect , nothing to complain.I am sure i would like to go back again. Nothing to complain!
additional charge for Internet - 17.00 Euro per day - breakfast average - breakfast in the room additional charge
nothing. Vastly misdescribed and over rated everything
The hotel had a pool which was unusual for Rome and due to the heat was very welcome. I thought the food at the hotel was very poor, including the Baby restaurant. I also thought that the rooms were very small and cluttered for such an expensive hotel.
Availibility and comptence of the front desk staff, as well as quality of food and kindness of the lobby bar staff The service of the Baby restaurant (michelin one star) does not know to smile, and is not in correspondance with the level the restaurant pretends to have. The lobby bar staff is far much more competent and skilled
Good location, within beautiful park. Staff were rude and indifferent
The room was great with a fantastic view of the pool. The Air conditioning was also excellent. The staff was very attenetive and friendly. I would stay at Aldrovandi Villa Borghese again and recommend it to anyone I know goint to Roma! I have nothing but praise for the Aldrovandi Villa Borghese!!
This is a luxury hotel in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the Vatican and a professional staff. This hotel has changed. No doorman most of the time does not make a 5 star hotel. Very coarse bed linens and flat pillows. No clock or radio in room, no candy left at turn down and no wine, Proseco or fruit upon arrival but prices are higher. No newspaper in English. This hotel seems to be fading out of favor by raising prices and reducing costs by eliminating the personal touches that were so prominent previously. We have referred many American travelers over the years to this hotel but no longer feel it is the special place that it once was.
We chose Parco die Principi primarily for the location, which is right next to Borghese Park and close to some other principal sights in Rome (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc., which were by the way mobbed, even in October.) The hotel is beautiful, the rooms very luxurious. We did not use any of the facilities. For such a high-end hotel, we thought breakfast was very sparse, poor selections, nothing you wouldn't see at a hotel half the price. We were also not happy with the concierge service; they could not offer any advice on tours other than a single company, and were no help at all in arranging transportation to Civitavecchia, which I finally arranged on my own.
The Hotel is very well decorated and lightened. From the door the hotel stuff make you feel comfortable with a professional intimacy. The restaurant and SPA Center are both above standart. I dont know, maybe I was so happy that everything looked me marvelious. :) No.
Beautiful hotel with outdoor pool Too far removed from most sightseeing areas. Will need to take Taxi or walk far to reach city center
The pool is a great feature of the hotel. Without it the hotel would sink a bit in esteem. The roadside balconies, the construction that was ongoing.
Spa is excellent, though paying €8 for a swimming cap annoying in the extreme! Wearing it even more so. Proximity to Villa Borghese a real plus. Nothing
quiet location, comfortable reception area, bedroom satisfactory, staff mostly helpful. poor breakfast, not 5 star.Had changed booking dates, with cheaper rate for new dates-hotel attempted to charge more expensive rate.Overall felt overpriced for facilities, perhaps better during summer months when pool and gardens open.
Quality of Accommodation Disappointed pool was closed but understand it was due to anticipated weather conditions
large, comfortable and very clean room, lovely linnens, friendly staff
We stayed in a deluxe room and we loved it. The wi-fi should be free, but we already knew it wasn't...
Room design and balcony give comfort
Staff were professional and helpful. Room was large by European standards. Hotel requires updating/renovating. For prices charged, European hotels do not offer value for the money.
Friendly, warm and accommodating staff. The rooms and hotel are done in an art decco theme that is beautiful. The restaurant and service were excellent. The complementary breakfast was everything you could want.
Beautiful Hotel. Large rooms, gorgeous design. Excellent breakfast offerings. Elegant. Bathrooms, closet, bedrooms have "pocket" doors to separate space. Lounge/bar downstairs is peaceful and elegant. We stayed two nights. Very difficult to find. Many taxi drivers never heard of it. There was no hot water for showers either day. The elevator was out of service both days. Also.. The location is rotten if you want to see Rome on foot. It is a long walk into town. Bring lot's of taxi money! If you are looking to be away and stay away from the crowds, this would be a great choice. Also...
The room is very comfortable and the hotel staff is very helpful.
Loved the art-deco style of the hotel and the attentive service. They provide pillows that are like bricks though in fairness did change them for slightly softer pillows on request. Drinks service in the lounge was terrible - either very slow or non-existent.
Room, Service, Luxury Not close to restaurants nor any thing else. Needed to take taxi everywhere.
Impeccable service and ambiance. Excellent decoration and good taste. Bed pillows could be better
The concierge was excellent and took care of every request for us. The beds are quite hard, and the pillows are even harder.
I do believe that just about any superaltive once can come up with can be used to describe our stay at the Lord Byron in Rome. Although very professional in their overall demeanor, the staff also proved to be quite friendly and very willing to assist us with everything from directions, renting a car and even spending time calling for us to find an open tattoo studio during what is the holiday season for the locals. I don't think there was a time that we could leave our room only tto return and find everything had been picked up or straightened and this would happen a couple of times a day. The restaurant and lounge were fantastic from the waiting staff to the chef. Incredible food, impeccable service and the genuine feeling that we were truly welcomed guests made this one of our most memorable vacations.
Very kind staff. Make sure you get (ask for) the coffee from the bar during breakfast. You can walk to the center if you don't mind a long walk 30-40 min (part. throught the park). A taxi will only cost you Euro 11 instead. Our room was in the basement - that is not as bad as it sounds as the window was still 2 meters high - but the view was limitted.
Quiet rooms, free parking, elegantly decorated rooms. We were advised that there was an alleged problem with some rooms' heating system and upon our arrival late in the afternoon, we were asked to move for one night at another hotel more than 5 km away.
the rooms were very clean, perfect breakfast, easy connection to the center by bus i reserved a room with jacuzzi but i never saw it,when i asked they said me that it's under availability, you can pay the same money and to take a perfect room or a small one poorly equiped,it depends on the reservations they have that period
ROME !!!! Perhaps the knowledge of english at the restaurant, but managed to be understood.
It is a hotel with style in a very quiet and excellent city zone with good connections to the city centre no
Overall ambiente of the Hotel, Location, Soundproofing is very poor
Hotel staff: great team, very warm welcome. We were given the best room of the hotel (corner room with big balcony) even if we asked and payed for a standard one. Big bathroom (shower only). We arrived earlier than planned and were welcomed with compimentary coffee and pastries. Young lady serving breakfast extremely kind, hard working but always smiling. Some problems with heating, not working properly during daytime. It seeems that our room had been occupied by heavy smoker before us - heavy smell of cigarette in the bathroom (vanished the second day of our stay).
Position in a vey quiet area of the town Very poor organisation of the staff serving breakfast
beautiful decor and quiet location we could hear the shower next door
Nice staff, clean room, nice surrounding little far from downtown
Good rooms, and good bathrooms. Everything clean and good breakfast. And they have internet avaiable
Our stay at the Hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. Everything was to our satisfaction. It is just under 2 miles from the City centre in a lovely area and close to bus and tram. Would stay there again and reccommend it highly.
The design, the staff was very helpfull, location ok. The breakfast.
Quiet, relaxed, good breakfast. Good connections traveling by bus to centre Rome No
style and cleanness parking place free, but not acceptable, awfully difficult to enter and exit! It is easy to damage the car
The size and confort of the room. We appreciated the cleanliness, and we loved the attitude and service of all the staff. There was nothing we didn't like.
The breakfast staff were excellent, they made the breakfast really special! Breakfast was great (some brown brad would be nice). In a good area, clean, well equipped hotel. We had a good time here, but had some smaller thing to notice.... ...We booked a room with Wifi internet, but it was not available in the room (uselessly weak sign). The water pressure could be stronger, and the water changes the tepmerature quite often (from cold to hot). The mattress was not the best (overused - not flat everíwhere) but we could sleep.
peacefull and relaxing happy rooms, hot water ,safe garage ,gentle people at the restaurant dinner service specially when you have children and it's christmass eve and no restaurant is open in Rome
Location was too far from major attractions
the cleaning and the ligting in the room far distent from attractioin
I liked the design of the rooms and the hotel style. relatively near to the centre with the bus you need 2 to 4 stations with the bus. The toilet is big and the room is nice having a balcony. Breakfast is very basic even for continental and no fruits and fresh juices. Room door is very thin and you can always hear what ever happening outside. Door key is very big and massive to hold in your pocket, and gets busy when alot of people are coming to collect their keys, they should change to the smart card system. Internet is relatively expensive (10 Euro for 6 hours from your own laptop). Telephone international calls are exaggerated from the hotel (45 minutes costed around 100 Euro).
Very nice hotel and staff, breakfast was very varied and good, with all you need to start your day (ham, cheese, eggs, bacon, salami, fruits, honey, milk, cereals and many, many delicious pastries). The hotel is very clean, our room (for three people) was very large and confortable, the bed and furniture high class. The hotel is very near to the metro station Policlinico (1 minute), at two stations to Termini and four stations to Coloseum. Very good transport network. I am recomending this hotel for a holiday in Rome, you should feel excellent.
The staff was great and we loved staying in the hotel. We got a room on the top floor with a patio overlooking rome. They recomended a perfect restaurant in the neighbourhood with typical roman food.
Our room was plush and luxurious. The tall doors and window that opened to the large balcony was the frosting on the cake. The young woman who checked us in spoke very good english and was extremely helpful. The Villa Morgagni was located a bit farther away from the city center than I had hoped. It was definitely not walking distance to sites in Rome.
Quiet and comfortable, good metro access to City Would have appreciated the ability to get more water and coffee/tea at times other than breakfast
The hotel was faultless, and I particularly enjoyed the Spa Bath in the bedroom :-)
The staff was excellent!Only 50meters from metro station, only 2 stops from termini. Design was beautiful! the breakfast was a bit poor
The hotel and room were very comfortable. We felt that we would have preferred a hotel nearer to the centre.
Very clean, nice decor, v good bathroom in a 3rd floor room you hear the breakfast table peparation on the roof terrace early in the morning
Smiling and friendly staff. Clean room and delicious breakfast The room was a bit small. But we only payed halfprice for the room - so that was acceptabel
The large room and the comfortable bed made the stay very nice, the spa bath was fantastic after a day of walking, being close to the metro (dirty as it was) really made getting into the city centre easy. The staff were really good and helpful. The room on the ground level was looking out onto the laundry area and there was some mildew on the roof in the bathroom, breakfast was 7am - 11am but if you wanted to get a hot breakfast then you had to be it there at 07:00 unknown to us, you could ask for freshly made coffee but like most things you only find this out on the last day.
Great customer service, very personal. Nothing
the interior design and view from the window the beds were not the best for a couple since they were twin and had to be transformed into a king. The breakfast was ok but not that varied and no options for hot beverages in the morning. Parking is paid and was expensive.
The room was wonderfull, really beautifull and confortable, very spacious and with a lovely terrasse in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The male staff were unpolite and did nothing to help, assist or even be cortious. Eg: we arrived late with a small child and a lot of luggage. Even though I am pregnant and there are a lot of steps on the entrance, in front of the reception hall, even though the receptionist was looking at us through the glass doors he didn't even bother to get up and open the double glass doors for us!!!
Nice and clean hotel in a quiet zone of Rome. Good value for your money.
easy to get to the city centre - few stops by tram to the subway station, quite place Rome may be expensive, still the price was quite high for the quality - small room (when opening the wardrobe you could not move around the bet), almost no space to meet with colleagues - even through hotel bar people were going from their rooms, ... internet acces is not standard part, etc.
Great location - easy to reach main city attractions by foot. The room / bathroom - cosy and very clean.
Clean, recently decorated to a high standard, reasonable breakfast We booked a room with double bed, but were first allocated a tiny room with two singles. We asked to be transfered to a room with a double bed, and we were, but it had a window with the lower shutters permanently closed so we had little light and no view. The room itself was ok, but small, with nowhere to sit.
the room is very clean and confortable.
Please write at least 15 words Breakfast variation poor - no fresh fruit and limited cold meat and cheese. Extra pillows in bedroom and an air conditioner that works would have been nice - shopping trip to castel romano a waste of money - would not recommend to guests.
Close to Foro Italico, Pleasant surroundings Small Rooms, Noisy ground floor rooms, Low quality breakfast buffet and service
staff was really nice, lovely hotel, rooms are good size and they have automatic shutters so it is really dark at night. The area is nice too (San marino restaurant is great!) and taxi to go from the city centre to the hotel cost around 12 euros. They sale bus tickets and internet is free. our room was a little noisy (101) close to the stairs (in marble so you could hear people going downstairs).Don't take their taxi service to go to the airport! they said 55 euros but we paid €25 (campino airport) with a taxi on the street. No English chanel... a little outside Rome (nomentana area) but well deserved (20 mins via bus to go to Termini station)
A good sized family room, very well furnished throughout, friendly staff and very good value The location is quite a long walk from the nearest metro so a courtesy bus would be a nice idea
This hotel felt comfortable but luxurious at the same time. There is a large living room-like lounge as well as another lounge that looked like it would be comfortable and quiet for work. We thought the breakfast was fine and I liked ordering my coffee custom-made.Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms super clean and comfy. The location is in a really nice neighborhood, but you need to know that in order to take the quick bus ride into the city center, you need to have a bus ticket before you go to the bus stop. You can only buy these at a café or bar, there is no machine at the closest bus stop. It would have been nice if the desk staff told us this when we were asking for directions. Even better would be if the hotel sold bus tickets! Only 1 euro each, and includes transfer onto Metro: such a deal in Roma.
Location is great. Breakfast and staff were very good. 7 minutes away from the hop on hop off bus stop. No close vendors nearby. You need to walk about 5 minutes to the closest one. Which was fine. When you enter the hotel from the street you need to take the stairs to the receiption. There is an elevator but not directly in front of you.
Attractive degian hotel, but location is not convinient wi-fi service is free, but desk-top services are not free. And some people of reception desk is not kind.
we really liked the design of the hotel and the rooms, the fact that it was all allergy free and that there is paeking, even though it's entrance is very bad. the cleanliness was horrible, and the staff was very unpleasent and unfriendly. the entrance is not very practical specially if you have luggage, you have to wait in the street for the concierge to come and help you.
The hotel has new modern style. Liked more the bathroom which is the best compare to other Rome hotel. Very cheap wifi (10 euro for 24 hours). You have to bring with you cotton for your eras if you wanna sleep during a day!!!! The hotel located in very nosy main street & some room there's no cafee maker!!!
The hotel was modern in design. The location wasn't really close to any of the Rome sites and a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro. The internet access was only in the lobby and for 30 minutes. It would be more convenient in the room and for a longer period of time.
I liked the room design. I liked the inclusion of the breakfast in the fee of the stay. The breakfast was good. The business center was cold. The air conditioning was too strong. The computer did't work.I had to to do my check in online and there was no alternative. Only a "sorry"..... I didn't like, according to the fee I payed for the room and staying 4 days, that I to pay the internet access. You could simply restrict the access for 15 min, so people don´t occupy the only computer for hours, but no need to be payable!
The hotel accomodations were wonderful.Breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean. The staff was so-so. There were times I felt as though I was an inconvenience to them.
Very well-located, clean & well-kept. Overall, decent value for money. The staff were not informative and did not seem to have basic info (regarding nearby bus/metro options).
Great Breakfast, and the room was very comfortable Internet was not free.
A/C horrible. Poor after hour meal service !!! Access to hotel lobby somewhat complicated due to structural design
Rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent. Staff was helpful and airport transportation was easily arranged. As of now, there is an overcharge of more than $800 which we are trying to get corrected. My answer to the next question depends on whether this gets corrected.
Location close to the centre. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Since heating did not work I asked for another blanket - the maid brought it straight away. I was about to meet a couple of people - the reception always organized this perfectly. Breakfast was not too rich for the 4-star hotel. Heating did not work.
The staff service Size of rooms. It is unacceptable small for the category.
the staff was very helpful, the breakfast was very good and the style of the room was interesting there was a lot of noise because of the street outside
Location, breakfast tiny rooms,
Friendly staff who were helpful
It was well positioned and comfortable and the happy hour from 6 - 9 was very welcome. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay there again. Lack of a dining room except for breakfast and no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Great breakfast choice, extremely polite and friendly staff, nice bathrooms. Hotel close to Piazza del Poppolo, metro station and main touristic sites. Rooms are nicely decorated but a bit dark. If you have a room at the 2nd floor or higher, you have to take two lifts - not very convenient...
Half price bar was good Sound-proofing in the room wasn't as good as I thought it should be and in-room wi-fi didn't work for me. Overall I would give the hotel 3/5 stars if I go on to review in Tripadvisor.
Excellent location, very friendly staff, good-sized rooms relative to comparable hotels in the center of Rome (de luxe room), free internet
Friendliness of the staff and their help in facilitating activities. In addition, the hotel was clean and quiet, two attributes that are often difficult to find in a hotel in Rome. Location was remote from most of the most interesting places in Rome; however, the hotel staff was always helpful in obtaining a taxi, which would always arrive within moments.
The hotel was large, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were comfortable. Not your typical cramped room European hotel. It is away from the tourist traps yet close enough to walk to everything, except for Vatican area. The hotel is the best I've stayed in all of Rome
The staff was fantastic. The hotel is very elegant on the inside. I love the extra attention to details. The breakfast bar is very nice. The distant to the center of town was just a bit out of the way. The free shuttle service to the center is not that convenience and is usually late.
the hotel feel was great, very truly italian, good location for a truly italian roman experience. they need to upgrade their business centre facilities.
shuttle service to city center; rooms are cleaned various times during the day; restaurant doesn't attract much people, but is very good; breakfast is excellent
The Hotel has a great Services and even noy in the center the Mercedes Van to via Ludovisi is geat
A quality, peaceful hotel with very pleasant and attentive staff. Free shuttle service to the city.
The room service, the cleanliness of the room The view from the room window
Due to the location we felt extremely safe! I didn't like the hotel at all!It had old furniture, our shampoo and body foams weren't changed! The bed was very hard.Breakfast was poor ,we had to ask for honey ,the breakfast was two days old! There wasn't a metro station we had to take a taxi!
we got a king sized bed for the price of a double or two singles at others. it was definitely quiet at night for sleeping. bed was a little hard.
Easy access to Auditorium. A breakfast was arranged for me at 500 am as I had to leave early.
nice and easy-going, good breakfast not wifi in room
Easy to get to, nice facilities, quiet street, great breakfast, easy walk to metro (3 blocks),2 stops from train station. Some hotel staff did not seem to like Americans but others were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
The best thing about this hotel is its location, just a few minutes from Policlinico metro station, direct line to Colesseo (10 min). But so called 4 stars hotel inside is 2 stars: the lightning in my single room was just 2 lamps, air conditioning sistem was broken. The worst is soundproofing, you hear everything what happens around you, which is very annoying. Breakfast is ok, stuff is very helpfull. Make good soundproofing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were doing a lot of sightseeing and did not spend much time in the hotel apart from sleeping. With that purpose in mind it was all fine but as a place where it would be nice to spend time I guess it falls short. We also thought it was quite nice to be a bit out of the centre and Metro station was quite close by.
Excelent location!!!! Quiet and near to subway. /
It was located 2 stops away from the Roma Termini. If you took taxi, it should be around 8 euro. Staff were excellent and helpful. Room was clean and neat. The view face the street with the balcony was better than the other side. The breakfast was good and sufficient. They offered the choices of coffee, tea, orange juice, water, water with gas, milk, yogurt, cereal, fruite salad, cheese, 2 diffterent hams and 3 kinds of bread. For some reason, the room was too warm and we had to open the windows to cool down. You couldn't get the signal for internet after you purchased the hours at the reception. I spent one more night after I came back from Venice, but they gave me a room facing the backyard. In the nearby area, there were no supermaket even no 7-11 style, no cafes, no bars, no restarauts which meant you have to finish everything before you came back to the hotel. All in all, if you book the room from the website and could get a better deal, it was still worthy of staying.
really good the price and the location but, in my opinion, the structure isn't a 4 star but three star.
Free Internet. Clean and comfortable room with air conditioning. Elevator needs work and was frightening.
central location, air conditioning, friendly staff, good breakfast
Friendly staff - spoke good English
Location- near the company office I was visiting very old style, not enough light in the room, digital thermostat's buttons were missing so I could not change the temperature of the room- basically hotel needs renovating, also breakfast room service never came
-close to a grocery store (good for buying cheap water and wine) -less touristy area -very clean -friendly staff -comfortable bed -best "included breakfast" I've had in Italy. nice spread of fresh fruit, eggs, beacon, cured meats +cheese, pastries. Orange +pineapple juice + water -overall value wasn't there for me. We stayed at much better Airbnbs and other hotels with AC, just as clean, better locations and more useful staff for a fraction of the price. Not worth the gym, spa or breakfast. Highly suggest the Azuri Guest House. It's a bit smaller and less"grand" but about 3x Cheaper, very clean and has AC. Located in the monti district where you can find cheap good food, it's more central and has a nightlife. -room was hot and humid with no way of adjusting the temperature mid October(the number 1 reason for getting a low score) -no way to turn AC on once they turn Heat on (ok if you don't mind noise by openining window) -reception is a bit stupid and lazy. Couldn't get towels, they didn't "know how to book a shuttle or taxi to the airport" -small gym that's not properly ventilated, it's extremely stuffy in there. 2 treadmills, a bike, up to 10kg dumbbells and a really bad piece of techno gym equipment. -Elevator is really small.
Not much.. The location was not convenient for tourists. It was not a 4 star hotel by any means. I'd give it a 3. The first room we stayed in was so small that two people could not move around and the bathroom seemed old and not so clean. The staff was unfriendly. They gave half responses to questions, would not help us find alternative transportation services to the airport for example because they only worked with one service, and the breakfast was horrible. We stayed at 2 star hotels that had a much better breakfast.
they arranged traportation for us on the day of departure to the airport. too far from city center. the local subway in the neighbourhood stopped at 10 pm. very difficult to get back to hotel from city center.
good breakfast and location of the hotel staff of the reception is not always welcoming the clients
Everything was very good..... We will stay again there during our next trip to Rome.
decent place, decent location very expensive, not worth the price
Proximity to Centrum. WIFI system had broken down. Had to find internet cafe which was extremely inconvenience. TV channels only in Italian and French. No English speaking channel. Hard for my daughter to cope with.
lifts---poor; traffic so noisy at night ; hot breakfast so poor; this is a two+half * at the most .
clean, price OK poor choice of breakfast food
Great room, nice breakfast There was a bad smell in the bathroom
Very nice hotel, very new, really nice room and friendly staff - easy access to public transport. We will come back!
We got a free upgrade to a suite on arrival, excellent room with own terrace area, sky tv etc. The hotel is a good 15 min walk from bologna metro stop though.
price vs quality distance to the city center
Very nice and welcoming staff. Nice, charming hotel and very clean. Very few TV channels in english
lovely boutique hotel staff very friendly and helpful parking onsite free no iron not a great area no restaurants worth going to take about 30mins to walk to city centre
Quiet place, not crawed. Nice decoration Poor service. The front desk did not really covered our needs, and during Breakfast not enough service. Small tables for breakfast. Very poor breakfast for a 4 star hotel (very bad bread and fruit)
The hotel was reasonably well located (5 min walk to Metro) and smart. For a clearly very recently decorated and fitted out hotel, the quality of finish was poor (screws not tighted, loo seats loose, etc.). The worste thing though was that the heating/AC controls in the rooms seemed to have no effect and the rooms were unbearably hot at night.
comfortable rooms, and excellent breakfast, wellcomming entrance, and lovely grounds allong with roof garden. No
clean, newly renovated no room service, few stuff, no blankets (!!!)- had to use bed cover, no free bottled drinking water
I liked that it was a smaller hotel where you got to know the staff over the course of the week. They cleaned my room every day, fresh towels and sheets and that sort of thing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The driver from the airport was driving outright illegal. Also, their website said they had a wonderful terrace on the roof which was one of the deciding factors for me choosing their hotel, however when we got there there were no cushions for the sofas up there, so it couldn't be used.
easy going staff, no room service the only incovinient
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was fresh No
The staff was very efficient and friendly; outside the city center but it was nice to be away from the crowds; great little shops around; breakfast which was included was great and the even provided a to go breakfast when we left at 4:00 am
The double room was extremely small, the smallest ever seen. It made our staying there totally uncomfortable. it was also a bit smelly and the cleanliness was not acceptable. The bathroom is for sure not appropriate for a 3 star hotel!! The breakfast service was poor and could not handle with the crouded small breakfast room, and the food was nothing special. The staff was not always friendly enough.
People working here are awesome. The love that they put in arranging your room when you come back. I left big cash money by mistake. Every single penny was there in an envelope! Great. Nothing
Although not central and main tourist attractions were a good walk away, it was a quiet area and there were a nice choice of restaurants nearby for evening meals.
My room was very comfortable, well appointed and fast WiFi ! The desk mangers were professional, friendly and helpful! I will return on my next visit.
kindness of staff and spacious room they are not ecology aware, they are changing towels, soaps ... even when used only once
Clean room/bathroom ,very good beds, good staff, good breakfast buffet.Location not really in centre but buses to everywhere around the corner in 10-15min to colesseum .Taxi to hotspots between 8 and 10 euro.Around hotel also nice restaurants (tip: restaurant Orlando) coffee with the breakfast (but the buffet is above italian standard)
Convenient location. Decor in the hotel could be upgraded.
great room,great breakfast,no complaints
it was a comfortable hotel ,warm and quiet ,good value for money
This hotel, or rather this villa in the quiet Parioli area of Rome, is an oasis of peace and tranquility in the heart of the city. The staff are professional and caring. The junior suite we had was amazing, with all facilities we could come to expect and wish for. The hotel has a fast and free-for-all wifi-connection throughout the entire facilities. It lies a 20-minute walk from the eastern entrance to Villa Borghese, 5 minute walk from bus 217 which takes you all the way to the historical centre of Rome and back, and the taxiservice from the hotel is impeccable. Despite being in Rome we never waited more than 4 minutes for one. We have no hesitation in saying that this hotel is a Must on anyone's stay in Rome!
The hotel is excellent. The staff team are very helpful and the breakfast is wonderful !!! Very quiet location. The only thing that probably you won't like is the location is not close to the center, but there is a bus just one block from the hotel that takes you to Termini station and from there you can take another bus, street car or taxi ....
We enjoyed Villa Duse this weekend. The hotel is perfect, verry clean, quiet area, wonderful room. The breakfast is excelent.See you next time!
The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was luxurious and really good value and the location was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Breakfast was included and was excellent. Couldn't fault this hotel and would highly recommend it.
Very nice place, quiet and relax The breakfast could be improve but still ok!
It was in any way a really comfortable place to stay. That the hotel is not right in the center was a good point for me. So the other or the real rome was even better to experience.
The staff were extremely polite and helpfull. For a short trip starting on friday the cost of taxis added up, over 90euros plus 15 each trip to the city. The shower was amazing, but there was no bath to relax. the hotel lacked a bar/restuarant.
pleasant, clean, comfortable and friendly
Very good interior design, highest quality furniture and equipment, large, quiet rooms, and very friendly staff. Great stay. It's a tad far out but on a bus line and only 4km from Via Corso so not too bad at all!
the bed and spa bath at this hotel are great, staff friendly breakfast is fine! its too far away!!!!!! if your going to Rome 2 see Rome dont stay here!the taxi drivers start the meter before they even get to you!there are no metro's near either to make it cheaper! the taxi drivers dont even no where it is and 3times we got dropped off at hotel muse?
the staff',the cleaness the nice view from my room the elevator-too long waiting
very nice staff, clean spacious rooms and a very nice bath room. Even free breakfast served at the room (on demand) The hotel is close to the villa borghese and has good acces to the public transport but in the area around the hotel is not much to do
nice balcony quite in the halls staff lets u be
Everything was new in the room and the hotel. The area was very nice even if it was outside the main tourist routes. The breakfast was not very nice and the staff is horrible when it comes to extra services.
Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Could have better gym but ok.
The Hotel was calm and good for relaxing
Good overall services and value for money No
Easy access to places on interest, organised tours for those that wanted them, friendly helpful staff.
comfortable, quiet, friendly, good breakfast
The hotel is well situated 20-30 minutes from all major attraction in a very nice neighbourhood. I also liked the interior design - simple but stylish.
the breakfast was good value, the location was reasonable and the staff once they got to know you were very helpful location was a bit out of the main centre and no coffee/tea making facilities in room
really liked the garden setting connecting to the room. 10 easy minutes walk to train station. helpful english speaking staff
Thr hotel staff was helpfull. I enjoyed the breakfast. Misleading information about the closeness to Termini-it was a huge exaggeration.
Impeccably clean, light and airy. Nicely decorated interior with lovely patio garden. All staff friendly and helpful. Would have preferred it if hotel cold have been a little closer to town as didn't feel quite so safe walking around at night - but can't change location.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, a bit out of the way of touristy areas but within easy access. A bit noisy because the road traffic.
The atmosphere of an old Roman building, nice decoration The size of the room (really tiny...) and the noise from the street running just past the hotel, also the breakfast was quite basic
Staff and location (for us) was excellent. Shower water could've been a little hotter.
The location The car parking
Staff was very kind and polite helping with all issues we have encounter during out stay. Wireless Internet was not accessible in the room, even in the lobby signal was weak and connection was pretty bad, especially if you pay 20 EUR for 3 days. Also, we had problem with hot water on 2nd floor and room was very small.
I liked the breakfast. There was some problem about my booking. I ask for two separate beds and I received a queen-size bed.
clean, decent and friendly staff. free parking is a plus it is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. rooms and hotel is old and need refurbishments. expect to have 2+ or 3 star experience at most. dont think of walking to city center, way too far.
the shower cubicle was too small for comfort.
Staff was very friendly, the hotel was quiet, breakfast was adequate, and there is a small parking lot for the hotel and lots of public parking. The location is a bit seedy and the walk to Termini was farther than I thought. But, not really hotel's fault.
This is a budget hotel only. The rooms are clean but very small especially the showers. The courtyards are nicely decorated. The internet did not work during our stay. The area is not great but close to the bus for travelling into the city.
Staff was helpful and flexible and the room was quiet. This hotel really needs a renovation or at least the bathrooms need it badly. The shower is a most unusual experience: it gets you wet, but it doesn't really help you wash.
It is in an up and coming studenty area, a small community in itself. With little music festivals/club/bars etc and an historic church.Only 20 min walk from the hustle and bustle of Roma Termini. So still central but out of the way. Geat to chill after a long days sightseeing. Huge room. Good transport links. No.
Hotel staff-verry nice and friendly Easy to access public transportation in order to reach the important touristic points quality of the bed; but for the money value was ok (quality/price report)
The rooms were beautifully decorated. Looked just like the pictures posted online. The neighborhood made me a little scared at first. Lots of graffiti all over, However, we did not have any problems and the people in the area did not appear to be worried.
The staff were very knowledgeable about the area, very helpful. The restaurants in the area are very good, local flavor. The room was really attractive and clean. Breakfast was very good. Walking to the location, I was afraid I was in a really bad part of town. The graffiti is terrible, and the streets are pretty dirty, like everywhere in Rome. But I'm so glad I gave the area a second chance. It's a middle-class neighborhood with all age groups, and everyone comes out at about 7:30 to eat, walk, and converse with the neighbors. Don't let the graffiti scare you away!!! It is, however, not as close to Termini as you might think. Try to take public transit closer to the area.
Room was very quiet. Easy access to bus route and to metro. Good breakfast selection. Allowed me to place items in hotel fridge. Staff all spoke English and answered all my questions. Supermarket next door and lots of restaurants in area. Safe area...able to have morning jog outside every morning. Would stay again No..everything was fine.
The room was clean and the breakfast was good-- chocolate croissants, fresh orange juice and blood orange juice, rolls, jams, butter, and lots of different cereals. The location was terrible. The hotel itself is nice considering the cost, but the pictures on the website are inaccurate. Actually, the wall to the street is covered with graffiti and lined with huge trash bins. Only once you get inside the gates is there a decent hotel. Additionally, the hotel is very far from anything. It takes about twenty minutes by bus to get to any metro line that can take you to sites in Rome.
