i enjoyed being there. the room as great, breakfast good and we had a free diner. I stayed in more italian hotels but this was better. very close to metro and only 20 to downtown. The hotel took the money from my credit card immediately after the booking and i had to make a lot of phone calls and sent emails to solve the proble. the hotel said it was a misake and appologized with a free diner. we also had a much better room then the one we booked.
Close to the subway station, still quite far from the city center (20 minutes). Nice decoration (even if it's a bit old), very clean, varied breakfast (but very poor quality) Horrible staff, unwilling to help, won't even tell you "hello" or "goodbye". They don't even look at you when you give them the keys. They don't have a map of Roma so don't expect any information to visit the city...The air conditioning was very noisy (so noisy it drowns out the noise of the cars of the speedway) and woke us up during the night. On top of that, it is hardly efficient. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel. For the same price, get a nice hotel in the center of Roma with a helpful staff.
I did stay for two nights in a single room as i was travelling myself. It's well priced but for that travelling to city centre 35-55.min each way on busy subway. There is two line in Rome A and B and those are connects at Terminali what is the main Rail station as well. Unfortunately that time there was a contraction work and switching subway was a pain, i am not sure how fast will be with out it, but expect a few extra minutes on your journey on the way to the city centre. Hotel clean enough and i was sleeping ok at night not much noise from outside also from other guests. Breakfast included and there is plenty of choice. Internet extra €6 euros a bit pricey, but top of the room price still affordable.
Rooms were very spacious and well equipped. I was astonished with the price-to-value ratio, for a really competitive price we got a room within reasonable distance to Rome city center. The food was also very good, but it might be just me loving Italian cousine ;) Well, everything would be perfect if not two facts - the night shift guy hardly spoke english and was really unpleasant as if he wasn't paid to talk to me in other language than italian. Second which really surprised me was the fact that there was a pack of old rolls on the desk. I believe that it was coincidence and the room service just overseen it (!!) but such a thing shouldn't have happened. Generally I'm happy though
nothing at all, this is a scam hotel. you will not be able to see any room. This hotel take your money when you reserve it then send you to another hotel. The other hotel was a motel. dirty, small rooms and very far from this location. The hotel management is a group of lairs. They lied to me and to the other 5 people I came with for business meeting. Every one of us got a different reason why we can't check in. We paid probably 10X what we got in the other motel. Kayak and gateroom customer service DID NOT help at all. they only apologized for the inconvince which was a scam. I might not choose to use kayak and gateroom again for thier negative attitude.
breakfast was very nice. the bed was small and the front desk was busy
The staff and the rooms were great. Everything was in really good shape and the conditions were new and clean. The location is a bit "off" but really close to the subway and bus terminal and if you are looking for something that is not too central, you will like this. About 15 minutes from the Colosseum by Metro. The breakfast was also really good.
The place. Was very close to metro.
There is nothing to do in the area the hotel is in. nothing.
Proximity with friend´s place. Size of room
The breakfast is very good The location was not so nice.
Simple, quiet and clean. Would have liked sky news on the television.
Close to the train station and free internet access. My parents got stuck in the elevator. Air conditioning was very poor. Some lights were not opperating.
Location, 5 mins walk to the underground and 25 mins from Ciampino. The buffet breakfast was good and had a varied selection of food. The room was small and very hot, couldn't see how to adjust the temperature so opened the windows. There were stains on the carpet which was off putting even though bed linen, bathroom etc was clean.
Design Hotel , Clean ,far from centre, pure breakfast , you have to thing about the location if you dont have your car.
Services and breakfeast, cleaneness of the rooms and bathrooms temperature control is set too hot
all the staff very helpful
The rooms and common areas are clean, the breakfast is delicious, the staff is absolutely kind and helpful. The metro station is a short walk, the historic downtown is accessible by subway without changing. After the booking I read the previous comments and I hesitated and I was unsure that it is a good place because of the bad comments, but finally I think it was a very-very good choose. We celebrated my 28th and my mother's 50th birthday in Rome, it was my parent's first travel by plane, so I asked the recepcionist to put a card into my parent's room. She was very helpful and she put it. This hotel was a great choice and a wonderfull place for celebrating our birthdays. I recommend to everyone. Thanks the wonderfull present for the staff!
Everything was fantastic. We enjoyed spending time in this hotel. They made the best breakfast. It is the best location if someone is planning to rent a car. I totally recommend this hotel.
Prime Hotel Area, Rome, Italy, Adresse : Via Del Forte Ostiense S/N. > Very pleasant hotel, design, clean, quiet. Breakfast was pleasant. Personnel : very discreet. Pleasant bathroom with efficient shower / hot and cold. Clean,(except for a dirty spot on the carpet next to the bed room 202) / - a curtain could'n be used: light floods into the room too early in the morning. I pointed this out to the receptionist, but nothing happen. Air conditioning was insuffisant in the room. Black coffee is awful (self service coffee machine, at breakfast). No other restauration in the hotel itself, and far from places you could eat. Conclusion: clean the carpet after each guest, mend the curtain room 202, see the airconditioning in room 202, serve good coffee at breakfast.
Good breakfast; not far from the center with good public transport connections; Nice staff (except one of them) Not quiet, you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms;
Nice food and friendly staff at the restaurant. Not quite so at the reception. No parking (in a 4 star-hotel?!), and no PC at the reception hall ("Congressi", so near a congress centre!)
Clean room, at the restaurant the staff was very kind and the kitchen made food of good quality. Breakfast was okay and more than expected. Bad indications of the rooms where you could eat (Beakfast, Dinner)
Though a bit far from the city center, the traffic is handy. Nice room though a bit small. The breakfast is great.
wireless connection the price of the wireless connection, lack of cable/sat TV
Convenient Noisy and hot
It is nearby of ''palazzo dei cogressi'' and metro station. Breakfast very poor.
Cleanliness of your room breakfast
Very clean and helpfull stuff. breakfest
the efficiency and staff support
Good location near metro station. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. There is no parking.
Location(near aeroport FL).Breakfast is good for Italy. The room is small and dusty, bathroom is not clean.
what I liked the most was the welcoming atmosphere. the place and the interier of the hotel was very nice. the only thing which You could consider to change is the opening hours of swimmingpool, I mean, they shoud be much more longer
Nice staff. Very good connection to the city: 5min by bus to metro station EUR Fermi.
The hotel suited our purpose to visit Rome for a holiday. Not too far from city centre took 20 mins via public transport. Hotel comfortable and friendly. Restaurant very limited on choice of evening menu, breakfast was fine.
It is not easy to say, the hotel is good, but I can not go to downtown during the evening so I did not see the roma in the night. It is a pity. No
Luxury, comfort, excellent cleanless, balkony, silence, very cosy room and bath you could rest, you could go to the city centre or to the sea only 15 km Only one thing about hotel we disliked: it was difficult to receive tea and coffee at first. You are not allowed to go to aparatus and sit waiting for the waiter;s mercy. Like in Egypt.. But he was not very merciful and ignored us. So we afterall on the other days were drinking coffee and tea from aparatus from another area. ................................ Location ...Metro was very very far, not like guest rewiers recomended It took about 45-50 minutes to go by foot so we rented a car.
The staff was corteous and efficient. Room and bathroom comfortable and well organized. Entrance to the Hotel premises is confusing and rather awful (garbage cases are stocked just outside the main entrance and not really concealed) . I believe they should refurbish the entire Hotel. It looks old and dull, paint, curtains and carpets are clean but borderline wear out. Breakfast likewise not bad but completely forgettable. There is nothing for which you will be able to remember this hotel in any sense.
the only thing that was good was the price breakfast was very poor and location very far from the center. The hotel was very noisy.
We felt that this hotel was similar to motel in the US. In addition, it would be fit for business use. The room and the restaurant we used were enough for our needs. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the atmosphere of a resort. I think that this hotel has some advantage such as easy accesses to airports by car, near "Euroma 2" of a shopping mall, etc. We will be able to recommend this hotel to visitors who will use their cars. The hotel staff looked tired and businesslike. I did not feel their hospitalities. When we returned from city central of Rome at midnight, the hotel gate had been closed. It was difficult for us to recognize how to use the entry phone soon. I thought that the explanation to customers should have been done at the check-in counter in the hotel. This is one of example of the rugged manner of this hotel.
Very clean; great staff--very accomodating. We stayed in a deluxe hotel in the Rome Center; the price was similar but included "the best buffet breakfast in Rome"; I thought Sheraton Roma could have at least offered complimentary coffee/tea or light breakfast for the price.
The hotel provides a good services such as shuttle bus to n from hotel - city centre n a good value to airport bus service. I am bit dissappointed with the room, does not reflect 4 STAR hotel.
The bed and pillows are wonderful! It's a comfort bed that one needs after a long walk in the city! I actually want to get those pillows if Sheraton can tell me where to get them! The bathroom door frame needs fixing. There are molds under the sink and some part of the tiles and at the door.
Hotel was nice and atmosphere was relaxed. We had a large choise at the breakfast buffet. There was something for every one. On saturday there was a party in the hotel and heard the loud music in our room.
The hotel was clean and convenient. Food was expensive.
They charged may credit card twice. Metro station is 10 min walk from hotel - walk on very busy and chaotic streets without upkept sidewalks...
This hotel was not in the heart of Rome but they had shuttle services to the airport and the city that were very affordable and efficient. Also the breakfast was great. The staff was wonderful and accomodating. Nothing
Not much to like. Hotel is dingy, has very poor internet services and other business amenities. Prices at pool bar are outrageous. Mostly everything I disliked. Our room was old and filthy. The bathroom had mold and algae and long strands of hair from previous guests. The tub had soap scum 1/2 an inch thick.
Very nice hotel for the money. Buffet breakfast was good. Room was very comfortable. Good value for the money in Rome. Location is away from the center of the city, but they do provide a bus to the city center for 3 Euro. The pool is nice and heated. Restaurant staff can be rude at times. Pool closes way to early (7:30pm) especially when you had a long day sightseeing. Housekeeping sometimes does not provide enough toiletries/towels/washcloths for the amount of people in the room. The late busses returning to the hotel from the city center are very very chaotic and stressful since everyone wants to return on the later busses and there usually is not enough room for everyone. Be prepared!
We stayed at the hotel for one night during our 2 day tour in Rome. It was not far from the city. We were able to relax in the bar area and get something to eat. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful. The food was good and the selection was great. It was a wonderful start to the day.
Modern Design No Food or Drink available in Hotel, their reason was that it was Sunday????? Limited eating options in area, although a very good Chinese restaurant 50 meters down the road. Hard to find, expensive to get to by taxi, you need your own car..
The hotel was really pretty far away from any sightseeing, but that was noted and expected.
the room was pleasent location was very poor wouldnt stay again because of this! Also no restraunt or bar in the hotel
new clean rooms, swimming pools, parking, free WI FI
Quiet place . The pool is not inside the hotel , in fact it is a public pool near the hotel . Hotel guests can't use it when there are swimmimng lessons for children or other event .
Good breakfast, helpful personell, clean room , free mini bar filled daily, easy parking...Euroma 2 a big commercial center is near and you can do shopping therapy or eat there... Very far from town and hard to find,at evening from rome to hotel you need 1 or more hour because of the traffic jam... The facilities are used by all the town and nobody there speaks english, except a greek girl personal trainer that is very helpful, works there, and of course knows english...The pool the gym and the other facilities are overcrowded and cannot be used all the time as many athletes train there...The rooms needs better decoration ....Ama exetai amaxi einai ok kai gps fusika alliws xehaste to ,polu kinhsh gia na pas to brady kai ektws axiotheatwn...Gia na pas sthn pisina prepeii na trexeis 40 metra gia na allaxeis ktirio kathos einai ektos xenodoxeiou...
free minibar, free internet. The room was big enough, clean and the bathroom very well equipped. The room service is not enough developed (no menu in the room) and the welcoming by the night staff wasn't the best i ever had so far.The breakfast is also a bit poor for the type of hotel.
breakfast was very good jakuzzi and sauna was closed, also they have no caps into the swimming pool
Staff were very helpful, rooms excellent sky TV the works. Good breakfast in the mornings. This hotel does seem to cater for the more business person but i would recommend this hotel to my friends. I liked the full access to the gym and leisure suite, pools. Big bonus to have a work out then lie by the pool. The cafe was also excellent and very very well priced. Hmm a little out of the way but that was noted. It was easy to get into Rome via bus and the metro which is outstanding in Rome.
The staff were very helpfull and the rooms very clean Far from the main city and the buses stop maximum at 12h00.
The staff were very friendly and most helpful and as my Italian is nil this was most apprecieated. They even offered to organise rail tickets for me.
Nothing special, it's only a very good hotel No, there was not.
Garden view, space of room, helpful staff bathtub could not be used because it couldn't be plugged
Good breakfast, nice restaurant
the resturant was perfect
the hotel was excellantly placed for access to the metro link a short walk away which placed you within easy reach of all the sights of rome. very little information available within the hotel that was actually written in english, this was maybe due to the fact that the hotel was located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of rome but it did not spoil the hoiliday at all. the hotel appeared to cater for the italian guest rather than a foreign tourist.
The restaurant having excellent fish upstairs and downstairs the best pizza in Rome I have ever had during my three trips to Rome. Also staff at restaurant extremely professional and polite. Me an my vife really enjoyed dining&wining there Hotel breakfast staff was unpolite. Three breakfasts with my wife and nobody did not even say good morning or had any interest whatsoever to us. Prepaid 10 eur full English breakfast per person was not available as the staff bluntly said "here it is" showing the continental buffee breakfast. When I complained the hotel receptionist promised to refund in full, but did only 1 day out of 3.
nothing how dare they use the word Shangri La. what a disgrace.
Location and conection
Rooms were nice, although small. Staff were friendly. Wide selection of items for breakfast. Restaurant buffet (25 euros) was a bit disappointing for a 4 star hotel - both in variety and quality of dishes presented. Bathroom could have done with a refurbishment too. Quite far out of the city(bus to train, and then subway required) but not too far from EUR business area
green area the desk staff.use younger and more joyfull staff
I liked that it was away from the chaotic city of Rome. The balcony was nice and the resturant was okay too. The shower had no curtain or wall to keep from water getting all over the bathroom floor. The shower head did not stay in place. The bed pillows were extremely hard. And for a 4 star hotel the rooms were a bit small.
Friendly staff and cleaniness of the hotel.
It was an over-all good stay and the hotel is good. It is situated in a very quiet area in Rome which is well connectec with the old town. Note that the tube station closes at 23,30 perhaps the food is not all that great for a 4 star hotel and rather over priced... and the bathrooms could do with some refurbishing.
Very good breakfast. Comfortable room. Internet is available on the ground floor. Location and location - too far from the city center, and too far from the nearest metro station. I had to take a taxi to get back to the hotel in the evening. Otherwise - the hotel is really nice!
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff tended to ignore clients for short periods of time and attended to locals before foreign visitors. Also, at breakfast on the second morning I had to ask for cutlery as no tables were provided with crockery or cutlery, they had obviously been used and I had to search for clean crockery etc.
Far away but good connection to metro, Not friendly staff at all!!!! Far away from city centre, very poor breakfast!! Very hard to find anything to eat.Restaurant on 7th floor - buffet dinner 25 euro, very poor. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody else. I have booked double room, and got 2 single beds. They told me,that hotel is full and they havent any double rooms available.HORRIBLE Place!!!
shuttle service finished at 5.30 pm
Confortable and clean. Also away from the noice of termini. The staff is really nice and helpfull The shuttle service sometimes did not arrive on time o leaves early from the differents meeetings points.
Excellent staff. Transportation from/to downtown is difficult and costy even with the hotel's shuttle bus. The rooms were small and not up to the standard of such international hotel. The room has no safe box and I have to go the reception to use their main safe boxes area whenever needed (not really practical )
We were lucky to get the room. Stayed here only because we were stranded in Rome during ash cloud airport closures and got the room last minute. After two days, we booked a nice place in the city and saved money. The hotel location is poor, far from airports and city center. Waiters and one reception worker very rude. The rate seems excellent for Rome but when you factor in how far away from the center your are, the cost of the shuttle (16 euro a day per person), internet access (22 euro a day), and you are even charged to use the sauna (10 euro) and pool (2 euro for mandatory swim cap). No mini bar, but vending machines in hallway. One 4 ounce drink cost 2 euro. Room service is 15 euro charge for delivery! Take my advice and book a place in town. In the end you'll save money and have the freedom to come and go as you please!
poor fitness eqpt and very poor breakfast coice
The shuttle bus to Rome was very convenient. It was one of the main points in selecting the hotel. Secondly, I felt the staff could facilitate our early flight plans. Poor bed quality, poor food quality, noisy room
Hotel is too far away from the city center. Therefore, they should have a free of charge bus but in contrast they charge 5€ for each ride. Room service did not have a telephone number and both the bar, the restaurant and the reception did not answer the telephone calls around 10:00 at night
good and spacy room, breakfast for Italy extraordinary good hotel in the middle of nowhere, no public transportation, taxi takes 10 min to come and has preliminary charge of 10 € just to arrive
Very good clean @spaceos To warm in the bedroom @ had to clime onto the dressing table to open the window in room
The hotel itself is nice, in a quiet neiborhood, shuttle service is prompt for a fee. The waiter in the restaurant bar seems to not like Americans. His service was horrible like we are a bother to him when we ask for something or want to order more drinks. But he is so nice to the other tables who are locals and speak italian. My friend notice that he was not just rude to us but also to a guy also wearing a Minnesota shirt ( an American). That made me lead to conclusion that he does not like Americans. The hotel itself is not bad it's just that he works there and that made my experience in this hotel bad.Restaurant and bar closes early and there was no entertainment as the ad says. Pool and sauna closes early too.
Four Points was a 30min drive outside of Rome therefore expensive for taxi.
pleasant staying, helpfull staff and a very good breakfast regarding italian breakfast. I would use it again for a tour in Rome! wi-fi services.
Easy to find and tranquil hotel. Its parking garage is a big advantage Breakfast was not rich for a 4 star hotel. Elevator is noisy and narrow.
Large, comfortable room. Too far from center of city with long commute on bus and metro. No hotel shuttle. Poor breakfast selection. Group of youths on last night were up all night making a lot of noise......hotel management did nothing to stop them.
The room was big enough and very clean. Despite the fact that it was far from the centre, there is a bus and a metro that you can use, so no complaints about this. - it is not a 4 stars hotels; if I cared about this, I wouldn't recommended for friends. it is a 2 stars hotel and it would be great to recognize it. As I want a clean, comfortable hotel and not an expensive one, it's fine.
very nice and chic, spacy suites, could be 5 star We loved this hotel and will recommend it to everybody
The rooms are spaciuos and well vented with large windows 1. Some of the reception staff particualrly the ladies do not give any welcome. 2. The photos shows kitchen but the kitchen is sealed. These photos are misleading.
The hotel was clean, in a quite location that was easy to find. Breakfast was ideal for a short stay A request for a cot bed was made as part of the booking however this information appeared to be lost as no cot bed was provided
location for my business destination it would have been useful to have an alarm clock in the room
No iron available at the hotel for clothes. Garage is small but that is common all over Europe
None Location is not great, breakfast is poor, staff not so helpful.
The staff were friendly and very helpful, particularly the reception. One of the staff i have to praise is Lilian in the dinning room a very under standing lady. Food a bit bland.
The bathroom was really good I would not clasify the hotel as a 4 stars. no restaurant, breakfast really poor.
The OP Hotel is a counterpoint to the historic center of Rome, nestled in a beautiful and urban neighborhoods, the architecture and design of the hotel is impressive and an experience in itself. I can recommend a stay at this hotel only. The breakfast was good, but it should be versatile for a 4 star hotel ...
Rooms were just like shown on images, very modern design, slick looking and basically great. It is a bit off the city center, but you're there in 20mins by public transport. Bus stop is right outside the hotel.
New, modern design, location is good for coming with car, shoping in closest shoping center and managable to come to the center of the city cleaning of the rooms and specially bed making not on the level of 4 star hotel, breakfast also for 2-3 star hotel not 4 star!
Nice, clean room. breakfast offering and service is "basic". Expensive internet - should be offered for free for a hotel which claims to be 4*
Despite being next to a busy thoroughfare, the room was quiet. The front desk person was always helpful The heater wouldn't turn off. We tried to have only the fan on, but we always had heat. The windows didn't open, so we were quite warm at night.
motel-like. 15 minutes from airport with highway entrance close by. free parking in front of door (if you are lucky. reserving parking as recommended means nothing) otherwise easy street parking. staff not friendly
I stayed with my family. The room rate was 120 Euro for 4 people per night. This may be very cheap compared with the price.
Very courteousand helpful receptionist. Very clean, spacious rooms for 4 people. Comfortable parking space for hired car. Very easy to get to Rome city centre by public transport.
The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our stay very much.
good for stay 1 night while travell
Nice personel and atmosphere; nice and clean room, near to business part of Rome next to the highway; quite noisy; far away from the center; very poor breakfast and no restaurant inside
Location is convenient. Room was big, spacious and very clean.
The standard of decoration and the general upkeep of the hotel as a whole was immaculate. The staff were friendly whenever approached although were only able to help us with a small number of our questions. The continental breakfast was one of the best selections that I've ever had to chose from. All round great budget hotel and I would happily stay again The positioning was a bit further away from the nearest metro station than we had anticipated, but it wasn't a problem once we knew how to get there
Nice staff, nice swimming pool, Internet, map about Rome Almost everything was OK
uncleaning of lamp power switch.
Most of the advertizing information of this hotel was wrong, I stay at the room no.G7 but I tried to changed it but they refused and pretend that the hotel is full of people. This room G7 was too small and full of dust on the walls and the lamp and I told the servant to clean but she doesn't care. Also the breakfast was poor and full of bakery bread with two kind of juices. For someone who visits Rome for the first time it might be confusing to find the way to the hotel. So we would recommend to use the pickup service.
The location of the hotel is great for the airport and it was also located in a quiet residential area so sleeping was no problem. Good air con available and on site restaurant was useful. The hotel definitely showed signs of being tired and really needs a spruce up. Also the pool looked very inviting but we were informed we couldn't use this due to a wedding party taking place around the pool. They seem to do a lot of weddings so something to bear in mind.
Quiet, nice swimming pool
the swimming pool, excellent breakfast, very helpful staff air conditioning could not keep the room cool when temps in Rome were 38 celsius
Large new room. Location: - Not vary accessible through public transport - Bad neigbourhood next to open field Unfriendly staff; Expensive Restaurant; Average Breakfast;
The room and pool facilities were excellant. The staff and food were first class.Hotel had a four star quality with family atmosphere. However was quiet and relaxing The trip into Rome involves bus and tube, more a pool holiday than a city break
the pool, the peace and quiet and the access to local transport etc... breakfast was a bit rubbish but thats no different to any other hotel anywhere in the world.
